Trying to be on FA more
Posted 5 years agoI moved out of my home state of California to Arizona this last year, for a multitude of reasons (to live with my mate of 6 years 
, also because I was a mile away from the Carr Fire, that was taking a toll on my mental health to see how dead the mountains and woods were) I'm hoping to post much more, and be on here more often than I have been in the past few years.
Gods I feel like a slacker, but at least I have a journal that's not 4 years old featured on my page now.

AZFC Review
Posted 10 years agoAll I have to say is, I'm extremely happy I went. Not only did I get to meet and hang out with for the first time, which omfg I love that Dragon so much, he's a sweetheart and I just want to see him again and again, but also got to hang out with Telephone because my friends in town (who were part-time roomates) happened to be right next door to her.
Which, if you follow
on Twitter and Vine, supplied the pineapple which just suddenly appeared at her door... While she happened to be drunk... Man, it was way too hilarious how she fully reacted. X)
Basically, since I had the card key into the particular building and the room next to it, I made it look like it just popped out of nowhere. She screamed, "NOOOO" threw sissors at the pineapple, PUNTED it like a football, went back in to throw all this stuff on her bed like blankets, sheets, and I think a paw. She dug the pineapple out, then proceeded to stab it with sissors, then I had to come out to help put their stuff back, but omg I was laughing so hard.

, but other than materials used, it will have a few differences to "Kabetchett." Reasons why I have quoted the name is because it really is a name I don't want to go by anymore. I guess it could be my furry name for that original fursuit design (but I digress, the new suit will look a little similar, but it may have noticeable changes compared to Kabetchett.)
What is the new name you ask? The name is simply Ka'rehd (kuh-red); the name which was being spoken to me one night by a voice in my head while I was at my room at BLFC one night, it felt right, it stuck in my head and lulled me to sleep, and slept better than I had in years.
After I woke up, it felt extremely wrong being called, "Kabetchett" (what a time for that to happen, haha) and it still feels wrong to be dubbed so, because it is my Draconic name.
The head of my new fursuit will be sculpted by me, and it's going to be as realistic as possible, kindof like the albino crocodile,
. The suit is not going to be made from faux fur for the most part.
I will still wear Kabetchett occasionally after my new suit is done, but I might not wear it as often.

Sure... As a warning, I tend to want to do my own thing at times, and go *poof* on people... I've done it far too many times to count, especially on family (which I'm surprised they're not used to it by now.)

How do I know if you're not looking to socialize (angry, busy or upset)?
If my gaze seems fixed on something, or if I seem to be tense, then I'm not going to want to socialize... my voice also goes rather monotone and I don't use a whole lot of words... and most of them are either seeming to dismiss, or I get extra sarcastic depending which buttons are pushed. Also, as I mentioned before, I tend to go *poof, * but it's a spontaneous thing.
Personality Type?
Uhhhh... I can be social, I do like to hang out,... I love to make jokes (although sometimes the jokes can be sarcastic, or even dark at times, even plain silly!) But I can be a bit shy.
What's your goal for the con this year?
Well, I'm going to see some friends I either met online, at previous BLFCs, and whatnot; just have fun! I also want to bring my color wheel to gently boop random fursuiters.

Well... It's a simple answer...
Short tails (and especially S shaped tails) bother me greatly for some reason... I actually don't get stepped on often, people almost trip sometimes, and I made a sleeve for it when I'm in the outdoors, and I clean my partial every time I wear it.

Posted 11 years agoLet's just say that I have two nephews, 1 year and a 3 year old... for a day I was contemplating on turning into a dragon (while in my room with the door locked) because I didn't want to scare either of them, and I had the chance to tell my eldest nephew that I can turn into a dragon... and hopped into suit, it was so cute and sweet!!! xD

She had LEDs that weren't functioning for some reason, and Taku wanted to upgrade her eyelids...
On another note, would anyone know where I could get really good white glow in the dark paint that has a bluish hint than a green one (at least a brand name) that lasts a long time under darkness? :p

Posted 12 years agoFor a while, I've been delaying on a project, which is mostly putting studs on what will be my battle jacket (a metalhead vest essentially for those who don't know.) I'm not only going to wear this at possible future concerts, but I will wear it while I'm at BLFC since this year, is going to be an 80s theme, and I really can't wait to finish it!
Some good ol' Judas Priest and metal like that makes me motivated to work on anything... it makes me say, "Screw coffee with a flying Y!" :D

Posted 12 years agoI'm gonna be taking some classes I've been wanting to dabble in...
One of them going to be ASL for multiple reasons, like for possible cosplay, being able to communicate in my fursuit since I have to yell for people to really hear me if I need to be heard or in loud rooms without my suit on, and to possibly get more job opportunities.
Sulpture because I think it's wonderful :3
Beginning voice and piano...
Voice because I need to remember how to control my voice a little better (I used to be in a little summer choir singing 50s pop... yea... a few of those songs are embedded into my brain ¬_¬) and piano to read music... so yea...

Posted 12 years agoIn late March, I'm going to BLFC (Biggest Little Fur Con) in Reno again. I'm hoping it'll be just as amazing if not, more so, since I have my fursuit made by takumori who I actually met at BLFC as I was going to look for someone who would make me a partial, which I actually liked how Taku's suit was (and I was kindof poor and he was part of a charity fursuit thing). I'm hoping I get to see furs I haven't seen since then and hope everyone then has a wonderful time! :D
Before then however, I need to get my head fixed because the LEDs aren't working for some reason, and hopefully by tomorrow I'll have it sent for repairs. :)
Also she's got earrings now, after I get the last ones in, I'll post pics after she's come back home (and hopefully have the wings posted up too, I've been needing to do that too, and get a separate bag for the wings o.o)

Posted 12 years agoBecause I told my dad I got a failed grade in a subject my family pretty much reveres me for, because of a supposedly beginning freehand drawing class (which the first day she expected photorealism without teaching anything) I'm going to have to move out really soon...
The majority of who knows about this in my family doesn't even believe me about this teacher either... in my father's eyes I'm only a mere child, despite being nearly 20, his philosophy is "Children should be seen, not heard" which means I have no opinion unless I'm out of that house...
And honestly, I don't want to be around him, my dad and I think differently than each other, but him being an alcoholic and won't let me have peace of mind while I'm at his house. I swear, my brother has more pictures of himself in the hall and on the fridge than I, I only have one picture up and it was from 2008-2009... he has about 4 of them..
Note, this isn't me being a furry or anything, it's just how he is. :/
