What a busy but productive year! despite a few dissapointments early last year things overall went exceptionally well. two promotions at my job among longstanding D&D campaigns, new and old friends to keep great company with and also transitioning to a healthier lifestyle with more excercise and better food choices along with gaining further skills in said area of culinary. Work stress and life stress have dropped way down and now i have more time again for friends and the outdoors.

While i am still mostly active here solely for posting and finding art/artists, that being said if people really want to reach me and get to know me (i dont bite really!.. ok i will if you want) this is as good a time as any as things are in a great place and i enjoy meeting new people when i am at my best. Please do be aware that while i do share art and rare rp with people i get to know i dont look nor desire friendships solely for that and want people i can talk to and maybe enjoy games and other activities with!

On the art front i really am excited for some pieces comnig up as well as getting my newest aquatic noodleverns some art they so deserve! i love the design and it has inspired me to get many creative ideas.

So short is ive had an overall great year that has really been a huge step forward both online and out there in the real world. I finally feel ready to welcome new people around more freely and hopefully add to that!

I have been pretty reclusive for some time here. a lot of things went on but as is uploading many of the old favorites and plenty of new art is coming. Also happily looking into meeting new faces and getting to know more people since its been forever since i posted a journal. I appreciate all the watches and faves and wish i had the time and energy to reply to each though i do often try.


Hopefully Covid finally GTFOs so i can actually make plans again~ But Expect lots of art incoming as well as another new Character im designing

So as title says will be attending FAU 2019 as its local and should be attending Anthrocon 2020 in Pittsburg as well. other conventions may also creep into the mix. hope to see and meet people there!

Art wise ill have a nice art dump incoming this week as well with some fun new things to share.

Lastly im looking to meet some new faces and get a little more active again in general. so if you have wanted to chat or look into games etc this is a good time. i am a versatile wyvern overall so hope i can certainly get to know some more people. I am now officially a Wyvern. Dont ask why cause cant tell you but just feels right and fits. All my OCs are the same and all. nothing really is changing there. Tho i likely will be more primarily active as my Wyvern self in art and general.

Otherwise life moves along its way. some exciting things of late for sure but overall just being happy

So where to start.

Well first thing is a new job. a Way better job that pays well, treats me fantastic and has full benefits. this i really needed and finally after quite a bit of trying i got in. It also means i no longer work overnight so celebrate! more money means more art and possibly more conventions ahead as time off is far more flexible here too

Myself and  SirSquawk have been doing well and staying happy. I also have really enjoyed some of the new friends ive met in the past year and hope to meet even more! so feel free to toss a hello here or telegram if you want to catch up with me.

As title says ive arrived! Hope to run into some others!

So its been forever it seems but finally monster hunter worlds is a few days away. Ill have a copy on ps4 (i nabbed one around black friday!) and be happily looking for folks to hunt with. Ill also buy it on PC when it eventually releases.

Other than that life..has been quite well the past 6+ months. In addition to meeting somebody very special and awesome Ive had a few positive job events and been certainly in better spirits. I have upgraded my PC further again and been keeping quite busy with Ark, path of exile and voice chats as well as running D&D with a great group of people and having so many laughs!

Art plans have begun to ramp up again now and im finally getting a good bit more art setup including some with friends that have been desired for some time..expect to start seeing a lot of activity in uploads especially starting in feb/march. As always im certainly happy to meet new people and make extensive use of Telegram and Discord for both text and voice. People are welcome to inquire about poking about my ark server cluster and of course monster hunter groups once it launches!.

Finally i have already set aside funds and planned out going to FAU 2018 so i WILL be there short of extreme circumstances.

Otherwise life has been pretty awesome and ive been doing fantastic! hope everyone else had a great holiday season and new year and keep your head up! (or tail if you prefer :P).

So yeah i dont do this journal thing much. In general i am pretty quiet and less active here lately but im still sorta around. Mostly working and gaming (D&D,ARK and random other stuff). Im considering a big move in the next year to the west coast but not really sure where as im kinda tired of this area and the lack of things to do and active community for things like meets and D&D.

I still run an ARK server thats mostly a few people but its open to those who want to poke around. just have to ask and can get you setup. im currently running an Island/SE setup with mostly building/QoL mods. I dont run any total conversions. for a list of mods feel free to ask/note me.

Art plans have mostly stalled out here due to building my new computer over the December stretch and less work hours in January. Dont know when that will change but as i say not many ask anyway so i havent really made any new plans besides finishing my Quetzacoatl design and more telegram stickers! CAUSE MUST GET MORE STICKERS! id love reccomendations on artists for these! preferably for sets

beyond all this i MIGHT and its a very big MIGHT be at BLFC but its still an unknown. if this status gets more certain ill make note of it

So first of all i will be attending FA united August 11-15th with a good friend this year. thats final and i will be there! Its about 85% ill be attending BLFC next year as well and that likely will become finalized by holiday season when i can request the time off. So yay going back to events for the first time in a few years will be nice. I may also look into other events and things nearby!

Second big news is that myself and my roomate are on the verge of getting a brand new 2016 car which will be a huge boost as his old car finally looks like its about on its last fumes. We got some very good rates offered and while not 100% sure yet (were still shopping and looking into other options and making sure were not forgetting anything) we expect to have a much newer car if not a 2016 in the next week or two. its pretty exciting!

Beyond that with moving things and all starting to settle here and things calming down im planning to really aim at getting out more and attending local events in addition to traveling when time and resources allow. With the new full sleeper couch i plan to invite some friends to visit ahead as well and that should be a blast. ARK server is still running and artwork continues to happen as per usual

Just a brief update since i have a high likelyhood of attending FAU this year and BLFC next year since its been like 3 years since i hit a convention. So ill be finalizing plans soon enough. FAU is like 99% as is since its an hour away!

My ARK survival evolved server grew up a bit as im now using the Valhalla map and several mods ( small dragons, improved beacons, better pipes and cables, glassmetal and a few others). its still open to folks if you want to contact me about playing on it. its PvE and password protected.


and last but not least now that art has picked up a bit again ill be open to art once again more freely.

Thats about it for now beyond work and idly gaming. I may also try ESO soon so if anyone plays and such let me know!

So i have another ARK server up and about if folks want to inquire about playing on it. Will have a few light mods (possibly dragon, better beacons and some crafting mods that DONT change core files). Set at 3x taming, 3 harvesting, PvE, max difficulty and some adjusted stats for players and dinos (generally harder difficulty) ,griefing will result in repercussion or immediate removal, backups regularly and future use of custom maps!. Already several of us playing so feel free to join us. reply here for info until i get the server link. server is PW protected to keep cheaters/randoms at bay for your enjoyment

Also BUSY months ahead is all. doing alright here and the art train keeps on chugging away!

So yeah its that time of year again. I get a year older this February 22nd. Sadly its a work night this year but oh well maybe ill feel sick :P. either way whew im getting old but i feel quite young yet so all is well! My dragonsona also turned 23 years old from creation/design date in early February so woo!


Beyond that artist searches continue for many projects and ideas and im looking forward to having some of them happen. THis is a good time to nudge me/discuss art ideas if your one who has already brought up art and such in the past.

Ive been playing GW2, diablo 3 and random games again so hit me up if your interest in fooling around on them as well.

Because the first round went crazy well and was a lot of fun and i met some amazing people! here we go again.

Basicly the general theme is if youve had interest in art with my characters and if so which one and why? what about that character do you like =).

This isnt a promise or guarantee about anything art related but many who did respond last year did actually end up getting an opportunity and i met some good friends too. so looking forward to the results this year!

So i stopped procrastinating and finally spent all day working to get this setup. fun times ahead. I may still be tweaking some things but itll be open to friends etc who want to play.

its heavily modded so expect this!

So its been 4 or 5 months since anything here. Works been busy and was hell for a while due to a stubborn and bitchy manager who refused to be reasonable with anything. Thankfully thats been remedied and im back to have some consistency in days off and feeling better on them. Holiday season for me mostly means larger paychecks and extra spending money which i guess is a pretty good thing! works been busy as hell though quieted down last week a bit.

As for a few things that have happened recently outside of work. I finally found a happy medium and got Telegram so if interested inquire about it. it wont be posted publicly.

I have designed a few new characters that should be quite soon showing up with full references. An eastern dragon and a scaly white dragon thats less snuggly looking than my norm! I still plan to design another western fluff but after that i might take quite some time away from the new designing stage. we will see but i am safely to say im super pleased with the new ones and cannot wait to share them!

I picked up GW2 again and play when friends do and i have the expansion so feel free to ask about it. I also am considering a Minecraft server fully customizable to mod and have up 24/7 but this is not finalized yet. ill update on this is/when i do however but it looks very good on doing so.

I have a trove of rare flight rising items from Kickstarter items, first season holiday sprites and accessories to nocturne breed scrolls. I also have a ton of gems. Basicly im interested in art in exchange and only art. I really dont actively play anymore.

Id likely use the gem conversion rates and maybe tack in a slight discount but ill be choosy about what i trade for as these items just continue to gain value i am not in any real rush

in other news i finally updated my flist to be pretty accurate at least for Kalemendrax. i might update another character or two at some point but we will see. the link is here https://www.f-list.net/c/kalemendrax/ since i had quite a few asking why i never updated it. i really only ever had it to verify/protect characters due to multiple thefts by users there but well whatever no harm using it since its there as a guide.

Im finally back on my normal work schedule overall after a few weeks of turmoil and a manager being assanine about my days off and changing my schedule radically. suffuice to say i got that resolved and im once more off friday til sundays at least for now.

Also my newest character is near final and the reference is nearly complete so expect that soon! theres already been a sketch of them but im looking forward to the full reference being done.

So a little update on life..yeah boring i know!

I flip the calendar another year on February 22nd as that is my birthday. I have no real plans right now minus having our newest family member (a second kitten!) coming home the day before!

Art splurging has commenced and through march and April i plan to commission a lot of art and have a blast with it. I have some wonderful friends to share it with and i look forward to it greatly! my art budget should be pushing 400 or more a month if i desire

Gaming wise ive been mostly playing path of exile,dying light and GW2 and loves playing with others so feel free to ask!

Im also going to try looking into a convention or two to try hitting this year but i really dont know what ones or if itll happen. I really have no plans yet and i really only plan to go if friends i want to see are going and ill have the chance to hook up with them. beyond that ill be mostly trying to get out more once the weather warms up since winter has been way to long this year.

Been ages since i posted any journals as is and its been crazy here. new kittens and a permanent job overnights has limited time a lot more. One thing i want to do this year is broaden my horizons and one way id like to do so is art.

So this is simply a shout out to those who enjoy the art i commission and or my characters and would enjoy possibly sharing a commission ahead. this is in no way anything set in stone or sure but i would love to know who is interested!
