Decided it was time to update my prices, as well as offer more options for coloring.
Haven't decided which day this week yet but like the title says I'll be opening commissions very soon. It will not be first come first serve and will be kept open for a couple of days so no rush.
I think I'll keep it easy on me this time and I'll just choose randomly 5 or 6 people.

Or am I crazy? The last two submissions I've wanted to post have been .gif and they don't seem to work, kinda frustrating...

It has taken me a few days to write this but I’ll try my best.

On Saturday April 19th, Hunter and I had to put down our 12 year old cat, Ash. We were not expecting to have to make that decision when we took her to the vet that day; she had not been eating/drinking for a couple days and was unusually tired and not herself. It was an all day ordeal of running tests and scans…just receiving more and more bad news. She had lost a lot of weight but it was hard to tell from so much fluid inside her chest cavity/abdomen. There was still hope at this point that whatever was causing this fluid could be drained and controlled with medication…until cancer was brought up.

I’ve been through cancer and chemo…I would never wish any of my loved ones to experience that. It took so long to make our final decision and no amount of time would have made us ready for it. We did not want her to suffer at her age…just delaying death for our sake. For her sake, we said goodbye and she peacefully fell asleep.

I know there’s going to be some people who don’t get it, and that’s fine. It’s been so incredibly difficult for us..she was our life. She would fit into so much of our daily schedule, it’s the silence that kills me…no waking us up in the morning, no finding her in the window watching birds, no thumping noises down the hall of her zooming around. I just miss her so goddamn much…but I know it’ll take time.

I appreciate the people telling me to take a break but I physically can’t. I need the distractions, just something to take my mind off of her. I may need to open commissions soon, I haven’t decided yet. We spent so much money at the vet, just desperately hoping for some answer that could help save her. I do not regret spending all that money on her though…she was family and we couldn’t let her go without fighting.

Once again I underestimated how long commissions would take me to finish BUT I did stick to my word! The sketch queue is completed!
Even if it did take a while to finish, I'm glad I tested out this style of commission opening. Future openings probably won't have queues as large though because it kind of stresses me out to have a lot of people waiting.

Commissions will remain closed for now. I have some owed work I still need to finish, as well as adjusting my prices cause things are horrible in my country currently. Might have new options for commissions, been playing around with art styles but we'll see.

As I finish up with my current commissions, I’m considering what I should do next. Just gonna throw my thoughts around, so apologies for the rambling.
I don’t mind colored commissions (in fact I love working on them) but they do take a while to complete, roughly 2 weeks per commission. That’s why I open commissions in batches, I feel like there would be a long backed up queue if it remained permanently open. However, it kinda gets to me when I see people get sad for not getting a slot xD

So I’m considering opening pencil sketch commissions sometime this week for anyone interested which, depending on communication/delays, I can usually get these finished within 2-3 days. That way people who miss openings can finally get at least something~

But there’s something else I’ll be putting in place just for this sketch opening. What some people might not realize is with the HUGE sized inflated commissions, is that sometimes I need to use multiple pieces of paper just to draw a character that large Lol Which is not a big deal as I just merge things together after scanning the paper, but I’d like to avoid that with these sketches. Also, for the same reason as above, only 1 character per sketch this time. These rules are only for this test opening, so if you’d prefer to wait until my next opening, that’s totally alright!

Its been quite the year and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit drained out...from a lot of things I'd rather not talk about.
The original plan was that I'd skip drawing anything for the Pumpkin Curse this year but that didn't feel right, it has been a 5 year tradition so far...which is pretty cool <3

In other news, I may be opening commissions again soon...if it happens, it'll be in 1-2 weeks from now.
You may have noticed I haven't been opening them as frequently and that's because I've trying to find new job opportunities and I'd rather not want to accept a new batch of commissions...only to have to cancel them if I get too busy.

So we'll see how things play out, but there's your heads up nonetheless~ 👌

Two months later after opening a trouble ticket, I now have an answer for which uploads in my gallery violate le rules and just as I feared it's a sequence that a lot seemed to enjoy (and was one of my personal favorites as well).

They failed to give me a reason, so I'm just left to assume some pokemon = bad. I'm not going to fight or rant about this, I just don't agree with it. I will continue to allow pokemon commissions in the future, I just won't post them here.

I have decided I am going to fully upload my whole gallery to Itaku (this deleted sequence included). I'll make another journal once I've moved all submissions over but I'm going to treat it as a backup location for when FA shits the bed.

And now I'm gonna highjack my own birthday journal to announce something that apparently needs to happen.

If we can take anything away from Furaffinity's vague as fuck rules it's that we shouldn't assume submissions will remain indefinitely on a website. I never trusted the judgement of the moderators here and now I trust it even less. I'm not going to risk getting a ban from something that is on case by case basis.

This is me announcing that if you have any favorite artwork in my gallery that you should save it now.
I'll be looking through my gallery and deleting anything that Fa would deem "wrong". Sadly I can already see one and it's one of my most popular submissions :/
Do I agree with these rules? God no. Will I stop drawing pokemon/digimon? Of course not. Do I need a new website to archive all my work? Apparently.

Sadly there's just no where to go. Been considering posting everything on Twitter and ONLY using it as a gallery (aka no retweets/comments). I know some people repost my work on e621 and I actually don't mind that. Feel free to upload, just don't claim it as yours. Either way, I'll find somewhere to reupload everything.
