Hello, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

There are projects I want to focus on for a while, so I'm going to be quiet for what may be several months at a time. My job is somewhat quiet for the time being, but that's going to change very soon, especially with a bunch of new locations opening up in the near future, but I want to capitalize on the relative quiet and get some more experience with pixel art animation, among other things.

Not to say this page wasn't already very quiet for the most part so I doubt most people will notice that big of a difference.

Hey, hope everyone is doing well.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to be working on actually drawing or colouring anything at this point. I've tried working on a few things for almost half a year now, but the only thing I've been having any decent progress with so far has been writing, if that hasn't been very obvious. I've also been mucking about with pixelart as well, but nothing huge there either. A lot of bouncing around concepts and ideas, though.

My job is still being a pain, as after a tradeshow and US thanksgiving, I've been inundated in orders, but now and hopefully until the end of the year, things will be slowing down. They're also starting to interview candidates for someone to help ease the burden for the department, so we'll have to see how that goes.

I've decided to re-write "Hidden Fox, Rising Sun" because I wasn't satisfied with how it turned out. I'm going to be trying to improve my writing skills somewhat, so hopefully it'll read better the second time. What I also want to do is make the thumbnail more descriptive of what the story contains, like how a lot of other writers do.

Real talk, I probably need to shut up about "I'm planning this" and "I hope to do this", because it almost always doesn't happen. I'm just going to continue to do what I can, and post a journal every month or so to prove I'm not dead.

So I've wanted to have some of the stories I've written adapted to either comic pages or sequence of images:

So I'm looking for artists who would be open for commissions, preferably folks who would be comfortable with collaborating with me, in the style of these other series I have posted in the past:

As in, commissioning them for lineart, that I can then colour in myself.

I am NOT asking for free shit, I am looking to BUY COMMISSIONS, from anyone who would be okay with another artist colouring their work, and are comfortable (or ideally, would enjoy) drawing rather lewd vore scenarios.

I'm honestly just getting tired and frustrated, trying to work with some folks. I feel like I'm constantly spinning my wheels trying to chase some people on stuff, and I really should have just realized sooner that it just isn't worth it to pursue some artists. It just gets even worse because I deal with that enough at work as it is, especially whenever a month comes to an end and everyone sends their orders in at the same time, not even providing the proper info for them, and then trying to get THAT becomes like pulling teeth. My co-worker was fired a week ago as well, which on one hand, I don't think he would have done that big of a difference considering he was on the phone most of the time, was in the bathroom so long people were recognizing him by his FUCKING SHOES, and when he DID work, he was slow as molasses and was constantly messing things up.

So it gets really goddamned tiring, when I clock out and on what little time I do have, get jerked around on a consistent basis by "professional artists", who will leave me waiting for months if not years on shit.

Hello again, just to let people know I am still alive.

Work is still being a bit of a pain, a lot of big projects being dropped onto my plate, while the co-worker that was hired to help out in my department is working a different department 70% of the time, if he isn't fucking about and being a general disappointment. But I'm taking the rest of this week off, so he gets to have fun with that.

Canadian Thanksgiving was yesterday and I baked a chocolate cheesecake with cherry topping the day before, a damn good time was had by all, up until we wanted to go for a walk in the park, which had to be called off because for WHO KNOWS WHAT REASON the park was closed to traffic, which meant that there was literally no parking anywhere in a large radius.

In other news, I'm HOPING to get a couple of stories and a drawing done this week, if not by the time Halloween rolls around, though I can't promise anything.

Work is going alright, but it's starting to pick up again and being more of a pain in the ass. I do have a week of vacation after this upcoming week, but I'm going to have to make sure everything is sorted out as much as possible by then.

I was having a really hard time having the drive to work on art because my apartment was warm as hell, and I was having a hard time figuring out why. It was only last week that I found out that my computer was overheating so much it had turned into a space heater. The case fan in the back had broken down, and the cheap case had also let ALL the dust in so I ordered three more fans and took the time a couple days ago to open up the damn thing, blast all of the dust out, and install the new fans while moving the one fan that was still working somewhere else. I also bought some cheap tights to add some makeshift filters to the intakes. It's not a perfect solution, but my computer is no longer turning my apartment into a toaster oven.

I do hope to have something good soon, it's been hard to get back into the swing of things, between work and my apartment broiling me alive.

Work is going alright, though a lot more hectic than it used to be now that I'm in that new department. It has calmed down somewhat now, but my supervisor is also on vacation for the rest of the month, so I need to keep it together.

There is something I'm working on, though it'll probably be a while until anything comes of it. I've also been playing Fallout 4... with over 200 mods added to it. Don't think I'll ever buy another Bethesda game, however.

So I'm hoping everyone is doing well, and I do have some rather big news.

I got a transfer to another department at work. This comes with a promotion and a raise, so at long last, after eight years, I'm finally making some decent money. Things haven't been completely finalized, and one of the people in the department I'm starting to work for is leaving tomorrow so things are going to get rather hectic until a new person is hired. Though, I should also be able to set myself up to be able to work from home one or two days a week, so we'll see how that goes.

Beyond that, nothing huge has happened. Not sure how much I'm going to be posting here, I'm trying to get a few things commissioned, still need to pester some people on stuff. Though what I really should be doing is some writing.

I've actually been working on spritework again these past several months, though I don't think I'll have anything to really show off for a long, long time. Might post some older stuff, if I remember to do so.

Hey, hope everyone is doing well, I'm really just going to rant for a bit here.

Just been a bit tired as of late, work is getting a little bit more hectic, hoping to get fully transferred to another department soon, which will also hopefully come with a pay raise, though I'm trying not to get my hopes up on that regard, especially considering what has happened last week.

I had booked the week off, but on Monday I get called asked to come in for the rest of the week because a department that has been completely mismanaged since day one was "behind by a week". This of course, was going to be made into my problem because I was the only one to spare with some actual experience in it, because I was dragged into working with said department back in the old warehouse, when the department was under different management and was STILL hideously mismanaged.

And within a few minutes, I see that the department, after all this time, is still run like shit. They still can't seem to tell what comes in what amounts, they are CONSTANTLY blocking off aisles and product with palettes, if they aren't just littered with trash. Not to mention the times they don't even seem to know what is where. So it's no surprise they're behind on orders, because no one can get anything done without tripping over each other all the damn time. So I spent four days marching up and down aisles picking orders, and barely taking much in the way of breaks so hopefully I can actually have some bloody peace and quiet now.

This has been the second time I have had to postpone vacation time over these pricks.

In any case, I'm having the next week off. And I'm hoping to get SOMETHING done, even if it's just more writing. I just keep having the hardest time getting a sketch going.

Hello, I'm sorry that I've been as quiet as I've been.

Nothing huge has actually happened to me, I got back into playing Phantasy Star Online 2 for a while, but because New Genesis barely has any content, I got burned out on it. I also got fairly sick a couple of weeks ago, so there's that. I'm feeling a lot better now, however.

I can't promise much in the coming months, there are some things I still want to do, but I'm having a bit of trouble drudging up the drive for art and writing. Though I wouldn't mind trying to commission folks for linework, I should probably put some of my ideas to paper first, so to speak.

Hope everybody has a good 2022, and that you all had some nice holidays. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive. XD

I've had a lot of ideas rattling around in my head for a while which I wanted to get commissioned. I'm thinking of just writing them out as stories, much like what I did with this thing (which I might actually give some extra polish), and then maybe later on finding someone who might be interested in adapting it as a sequence of images if not a comic. Preferably as lineart or sketches, but either way, trying to get some of these out of my system.

Hello, you have probably noticed I have written a thing.

Things are starting to settle down somewhat at work, so I might actually have the energy to work on stuff now. I also have the week after this one off, so hopefully I'll put that time to good use for fucking once.

There's a lot of stuff I want to get done and I've spent far too long procrastinating on. I know that's what I ALWAYS say, but I do want to see some of this stuff get done. I'm also getting every Friday in November off, since we aren't going to be allowed to take time off in December so that's something to look forward to.

BEWARE, I LIVE.

Maybe it was the heat, maybe it was things starting to seriously pick up at work, but I seriously just felt too tired to do much of anything for the last two months, and things are somewhat getting worse.

So after my dentist's appointments where got all five cavities filled in, they booked a cleaning... except they didn't book enough time to ACTUALLY DO THE GODDAMNED CLEANING, so I'm just going to start looking for another dentist, because this has gotten rather ridiculous. Thankfully my insurance covers the majority of the costs, but still.

And about my job, there was a period where one department had been essentially outsourced to another company, because we not only didn't have the space for it, we were also woefully understaffed (no thanks to how it was UTTERLY mismanaged). And then we laid a few people off during the pandemic. And then decided to bring that department back, bringing along two people who were working that department from the other company. We were still understaffed and things were opening up which was going to skyrocket the amount of orders that department would have to deal with. Apparently hiring more people just wasn't an option despite us being EXTREMELY understaffed for this and knowing a ton more orders were about to come in.

So I was asked to cancel a week of vacation I had booked months in advance because they need as many people as possible to help sort out the 100+ order backlog until they are able to hire and train a few more people, which IN THEORY will take until October. YAAAAAAaaayyy...

In the meantime, I've mostly been messing around with sprites. Can't say I have anything huge to show for it, and really, it's mostly just mucking about with things. The next month or so is just going to be exceptionally stressful and I plan on booking that week as soon as I am able to.

Sorry I've been rather inactive, I had to deal with a few things last month, mainly one of my teeth broke, which meant I needed to start looking into getting a dentist appointment, which was fun. I called up first thing on a Monday to book an appointment specifically to get it filled, and was only able to get a booking on the Friday, but all they did was poke around in my mouth and count all the other cavities I had, and had to wait half a week to get the big hole and another cavity filled, and the week afterwards, I had to go back to fill the other three.

I still have to get around to working on that one series, but I also have other things I want to work on. I've actually started trying to muck around with Rimworld mod patches, but I'm having a hard time with getting them to actually work.

Here's hoping I'm able to get SOMETHING done. @.@

Back to working five days a week at my job, and still trying to get stuff done before the end of the month, though that might actually not pan out the way I was hoping at this rate. Might actually try and stream sometime soon, see if I can knock a good chunk of this out.

First of all, Happy Valentines Day to all, and I hope you all have a pleasant time.

There's some stuff I'm working on, so I'm at the very least keeping busy, and I might actually upload more than one set of pics this year, so there's that. Actually going to be away from work most of this week thanks to Family Day on monday, and I should be going back to five days a week before the end of the month. I most definitely want to finish one particular project before the end of March, so keep an eye out for that.

So for the past two weeks, thanks to another state of emergency, I have been told to only come in to work two days out of the week, and while it's supposed to last only another two weeks, I have no idea if this is not going to last for much longer.

I kind of wish there was a system where you could browse through artists who are open for commissions. And then filter them through tags for what they will and will not draw.
