Posting backlog of old creations
Posted 4 years agoI apologize firstly for flood posting peoples' inboxes potentially, but as I get spare time I'm going to be uploading a lot of my older works from 5 years or longer. I won't be uploading everything as that would be insane, but I'm uploading works I still have available for purchase so keep your eyes peeled!
Some works are really super old from a decade or longer back, but I also spent like 5 days last month rephotographing my entire available sale stock so new photo quality has breathed some life into my older works! Hope everyone can appreciate them.
I have around 100 available works (not all will be posted) but I've also created thousands of works over the years, so having a stock of around 100 is pretty good given the numbers. It's nice to have at least some stuff available for people to browse through!

Been inactive for 5 years
Posted 4 years agoYeah been very inactive for 5 years cause my work wasn't getting much activity (guessed cause it wasn't porny enough) but am not sure if I should try posting here again as another platform to get my work seen on. My work has improved vastly over the years especially in photography and presentation so hopefully that would grab more notice. Won't know until I find out though. But when there's nothing going on at a place, there's just nothing and that's what I was feeling long ago. Instagram has been fantastic lately

Posted 10 years agoLooks like I've got a good grip on minimalizing the amount of time needed to do mass group posts on Facebook, so it no longer takes hours for me to do postings x.x with that load uplifted, I may find the time to return here~
I was feeling overwhelmed posting my stuff everywhere because of how long it took to post in Facebook groups x.x
But with my new public page there, it makes my work SO much easier which frees up some time for me to check here.

Back home from Rainfurrest <3
Posted 11 years agoBack from our 3rd year attending Rainfurrest~ other years we were only able to attend for about 4-6 hours 1 day, this year we were there a full 2 days and 2 nights~ was much better. Got to attend a couple panels for a change without missing them before realizing they went on lol
I think the best part, was arriving to eager familiar faces of friends who wanted to be around us. That was a awesome feeling. Collected more business cards from artists in the Dealers Den to commission them with money stored in one of our PayPal accounts~
Got lots of pictures! One in specific, of a wryly cheetah that kept going around bopping people with a feesh! I got bopped! Naughty cheetah! lol~
Got to see 2 awesome friends of mine perform in the Variety Show. THAT, I looked forward to. And it was awesome! Loved hearing Kejehara and Snyperfox's singing voices~
Went from the feeling of not wanting to go at all, to be lifted up to being thankful for the feeling of having such great friends in my life.
I saw a Cloud Strife wuff~ <3 lol and my FAVORITE GRAY FOX WITH A ROSE IN HIS MOUTH omg He was my favorite last year but I think Cloud Wuff topped Gray fox this year~
....I actually stepped foot in a rave. <.< I DON'T DANCE but I feel I accomplished something just by stepping in it XD

BJD's- How I'm enjoying working on them so far~
Posted 11 years agoAs some may have seen, the opportunity arised for me to customize a couple of commissioned ball jointed dolls in my pre-existing art style and quality.
I'm finding it's taking a lot longer to make these than it does my ponies, so far~ it's a very interesting, one of a kind experience that I'm honored to have the opportunity to have.
So far it's been a matter of transitioning my skills over to a much larger scale doll base which is also quite different from the smaller ponies I'm used to working on.
Out-wardly, I'm going to be honest, it seems like I'm receiving a lot of negative energy regarding the dolls. I'm very sensitive and embarrass easily, and I don't cope with negative energy very well most of the time. I typically try to shield myself from it and run from it.
My form is logging out of websites such as deviantArt and FurAffinity, not wanting to log back in, and just focus on the dolls as I work on them for days.
I focus on the dolls, as I know there are people who believe in me and trust in what I do. And, also who rely on me to do my absolute best.
The more I work on these dolls, the more I fall in love with them. When they arrived, I was in bed-rest for a week from a bacterial infection that gave my body severe pains that made me unable to move around, and I was also spiking fevers and was fighting to keep the fevers down whether it meant dropping my life, putting everything on hold (I have 2 kids, it isn't easy) and hopping into a hot bath to get the fever to die down.
While I was in this bed rest, I slowly yet surely de-boxed the dolls like a day after they arrived. I stared at them for like half a day, just examining them and everything that arrived in their package~ I was in awe of the elegance and beauty of them, and I actually had to remind myself that it was "okay to touch them, they won't break". xDD
After a bit of examining, I eventually talked myself into figuring out a way to bring my paints to the bed and start working on the dolls while in bed rest. XD It was pretty crazy, but I did make some progress.
After getting to the doctor and getting my antibiotics, I made much more progress on the dolls and was able to focus better on what I was doing.
A handful of people have asked if I plan on doing BJD's ever again-
I have a mixed answer, and here's the reasons:
*Yes, if people buy me the doll bases to work on, pre-order the eyes and wigs for me. I charge for painting and crafting the clothes and for materials/time it takes to dye wigs or any other additions or alterations.
*Yes, if people can accept my style as a permanent one-of-a-kind treasure that is not to be wastefully discarded. I paint in acrylic paints. If customers don't like this, I can put up the option for them to buy artist-grade paints and mail them to me. Other than that I can't afford them on my own.
I don't have to in-set glass eyes permanently, but it is my immediate choice of judgement as I've heard stories about BJD's eyes randomly falling back into their heads and such while they perch on shelves. If someone wants interchangeable glass eyes, I will find a way to make them that way.
*No, not if it's completely on my own. I don't think I could personally ever afford a doll out of my pocket.
*No, if room for diversity isn't allowed. I have diverse methods, styles, quality that are entirely hand-crafted, and if this isn't appreciated, a transaction would not work out.
Pretty much a person has to enter with the mindset that my craft is a one-of-a-kind treasure produced from my heart and soul. I very lovingly hand-sew and layer paints in methods that able me to do them.
So, that's how this is! It's pretty hefty to take on, but things worthwhile usually aren't easy and aren't perfect. But I'm very grateful to my first BJD customer for picking me to experience arting on these wonderful dolls~

Starting to hate this site, thinking about replacing it
Posted 11 years agoYep. I get little feedback here, the site bugs are bogus, and faving things is the last straw. It's a pain in the ass for me to browse through galleries and searches, fav, then get back to the original search/gallery to fav more stuff. I click the back button, it takes me to the submission I fav'd but it's the screen it was at before I fav'd it, then I click the back button again to get to the gallery/search to fav more stuff.
This in itself has been a pain in my ass, today I've learned that at times there's a glitch somewhere in the process that REMOVES the fav I made, and doesn't save it and tell the artist that I unfav'd their work.
And now I have embarrassing comments on my profile page accusing me of something I did not do, and can not figure out how to hide or remove and make me look like a ass hole and I could potentially lose sales because I look like a ass hole.
*tosses papers* fuck this. I'm out.
Oh, anyone have any tips for other fur sits I could transfer to, that would be great.

Break from drawings~
Posted 11 years agoLetting everyone know my motivation shifted from a series of drawings, to customizing ponies. This is to shift the balance of things so I don't get burnt out on drawing, and can make some more freshly made customs to have available in the custom pony market so I don't disappear off the grid~
I have a few drawings requested from family/friends~ these can be expected to be done in weeks - possibly a couple months.

How do I feel about drawings, and why don't I draw often? It's a very touchy subject for me, and I'm quick to quit. Drawings have to be as stress-free for me as possible, if I'm made to believe they are crap, I will be quick to agree and say "there's no point in me doing this".
Kind of why I don't ever accept commissions or to be paid for drawings, because if I'm asked to redo things a lot, it would interfere with my motivation and enjoyment of drawing. I have to have clear emotion and vision for these to work without outer-interferences. So drawings remain a hobby that I do on my spare time, as I feel the visions come to me.
I know I get flack feedback because I'm being compared to the notion that "there are so many other people who draw and I'm not as good as them", but I don't care. I don't strive to be better than anyone else, I strive to get a vision down on paper, and that is what I'm here for~ is to share my visions and love for the subjects I put down on paper.
So that's that, happy arting to everyone~

I know I get flack feedback because I'm being compared to the notion that "there are so many other people who draw and I'm not as good as them", but I don't care. I don't strive to be better than anyone else, I strive to get a vision down on paper, and that is what I'm here for~ is to share my visions and love for the subjects I put down on paper.
