AI art - a poem
Posted 3 years agoWhen John Henry was a little tiny baby,
Eyes glued to the TV screen,
He picked up a pencil and a tossed-out receipt,
Saying “Get em’ hero with that sword, sword.
Get em’ with that sword.”
John Henry was a man just finished high.
Nearly two and a half dubs to his name.
He’d drawn with a fine hard pencil all day,
And never hired but done his best, ignored, ignored,
And never hired but done his best.
John Henry went out on the flooded web,
And he saw its procedural soulless depths.
The web was so full, and John Henry was so small,
He laid down his pencil and he cried, bored, bored,
He laid down his pencil and he cried.
John Henry said to his fans,
“Friends, you go and grant a pledge;
Bring my Patreon to a clamor please.
And I’ll beat that Dall-E down,” roared, roared,
“And I’ll beat that Dall-E down.”
The fans said to John Henry,
“I believe AI’s an endless stream.”
But John Henry said, “Friend, just you stand aside--
It’s nothing but my pencil catching wind,” soared, soared,
It’s nothing but my pencil catching wind,”
John Henry said to his fans,
“A man is nothing but a man,
But before I let your neural net beat me down,
I’d die with a pencil in my hand, Lord, Lord,
I’d die with a pencil in my hand.”
The company that invented that algorithm,
They figured it was mighty high and fine,
But John Henry shaped the bodies and form,
While the PC, mismatched hands and eyes, record, record,
While the PC, mismatched hands and eyes.
John Henry imagined a synthesis,
Dall-E reproduced the mean.
John Henry beat that program down,
But he penciled his poor card to nil, reward, reward
He penciled his poor card to nil.
Well, they proclaim John Henry around the web,
And print his art on demand.
Now every shirt or mug; embellished with his sweat,
Says “There’s a cent my hard-pencil man, afford, afford,
There’s a cent my hard-pencil man.”

Hiatus from all things posty
Posted 9 years agoIn case anyone is still following me on here, I've taken a long hiatus from posting any work on here. I stopped posting abruptly a while ago when my life was a bit out of control and I needed to get some things together irl. I am now in a much better position than I was a year ago, and taking a break to focus on that stuff was defiantly the right choice for me. Still, I feel bad about how suddenly I left and about the people I left hanging with unanswered messages. I'm not sure exactly what kinds of things or how much I'll be posting, but I still want to be part of the communities I've enjoyed. The best way I can see to do that is to make, or commission, or patreon the kind of stuff I want to see more of, and I plan to do just that.
What should I write for Camp NaNoWriMo 2014?
Posted 11 years agoSo I have never actually done NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer's Month) before. Usually it is held in November and the goal is to write an entire novel (50,000 words) in the course of a month. That has always seemed like a fairly unreachable goal, and has stopped me from participating.
However, I was interested to find out that they also hold a summer writing camp, starting in July. Interested, I signed myself up to participate this summer. I'm setting myself a goal of 20,000 words, and we will see where I go from there.
Now, my novellette will be posted on a public site, and so I don't expect that I will be including too much gratuitous vore material. However, I would like some feedback as to what kind of story to write.
Specifically, out of these options, what do people who know my work think I should write?
1. A boy and his dragon story. Human hero meets dragon in a fantasy world, become friends, maybe eventually lovers, and have adventures.
2. Furries born in the real world. This idea would be based on my short newborn. What happens when human parents start giving birth to 'furry' children? How are the children raised, and how are they seen by society?
3. Full on furry world. A story set in a world where herbivores furry people have oppressed and marginalized those of carnivorous decent. Probably written from a young adult point of view as several youths from different backgrounds come to terms with one another. Think "Breakfast club" set in a furry world with a history of discrimination.

lolno, post here and I'll need to do these ten things to you.
1. Tell you what animal/creature you remind me of.
2. Tell you what color I think fits you.
3. Tell you how I feel about you.
4. Insult you.
5. Tell you my favorite OC of yours. (If you have one...)
6. Tell you what season you remind me of.
7. Tell you what food you smell like in my head.
8. Think of a random nickname for you.
9. Tell you what element you remind me of.
10. Order you to put this in your journal without using the words '***' or '****'.

Mukat's Prey Deluxe: Review
Posted 12 years agoToday I'd like to highlight a short digital comic created by
mukatkikaarn!
Original link.
Mukat's prey shows the story of a micro having a run in with the titular character, and being eaten in short order. This comic includes 20 pages of art total: a colored cover page, a double page ref sheet, a double page mawshot, a colored prey's eyes pov of Muket, and the main course; 14 pages of vorish goodness. The action is kept tame in terms of sexual content; the prey is fully clothed throughout and the pred is kept tastefully nude (no pun intended. The grayscale coloration and panel layout is very reminiscent of manga style, which works alright. Additionally there is also a page explaining the language of Mukat's race. This page was fun for someone like me who has an interest in linguistics, as the language has had some thought put into it.
Art: Overall I liked this piece, thought there were a few perceived flaws. First, I liked what a cute pred Mukat can be. The panels of her with closed lips, savoring her meal as she pushes him around on her tongue and swallows him are probably my favorite part of the story. You get a sense of just how much she enjoys having a micro for a snack, and that it is so much more than regular food. On the other hand, the prey character is really generic. This is great for some, as it allows one to put oneself in the prey's shoes more easily, but I thought he could have stood to be a little more distinctive, especially in being able to show emotions on his face. It also kinda bugged me that his hair changed color halfway through, although there is a solid reason for the artist to make that change. I did like the double page mawshot, but it seemed a little dark to get the full effect, at least for me.
Story: The story couldn't be simpler, and it is kept short and sweet. It's easy to anticipate what the prey's ultimate fate will be, but thinking about that, and watching as the prey is squeezed down her esophagus are two very different things.
Technical: I tested on both a laptop and android phone. The comic looked great at both resolutions, and it's kinda fun to have something like this to carry around (although I couldn't imagine why I would pull it up outside the house). The layout looks great on computer, but I couldn't get the ref sheet or mawshot pages to display in double page mode on my phone. Also, sometimes the solid colors looked oddly pixelated with artifacts, and that affected certain pages but not others. I can guess why this is, but I would have enjoyed the comic more without this effect.
tl;dr: If you like to see a micro getting eaten by a cute furry girl, check this comic out and see if it's for you. I can't think of a better deal than "pay what you want", and you'll be supporting a cool artist.

Strange bedfellows. M/f sex, eventual vore
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone!
Today I would like to recommend you check out strange bedfellows by MurineMyriad. This is turning into a really neat, serious love story of the type that I love to see. In a high-class hotel which caters to clients of predatory intent, a mouse girl with a full life ahead of her is forced to take the risk of offering herself up as food for a fox. Things get interesting as, while her would be devourer is just as intent as ever on his meal, he wishes to make sure that she has no regrets about becoming his meal.
Involves M/f, sex, a fox, a mouse and an expensive hotel. No actual vore just yet, though there is plenty of talk about it, and some very nice pre-vore things that happen in chapter 2. Give it a shot!

Go, Read!
Posted 12 years agoTo my few watchers and visitors.
Consider taking a look at the story Broken Dolls found here. It's quite an interesting psychological vore thriller type of story. Contains M/f and F/f, fatal oral soft vore, digestion, and rape.
