Pizza, Asian food, pre-packaged stuff, food they're catering at the con, hotel shop food, and FOOOD TRUCKS (I HOPE)!
Parties/Drinking:
I'm not one for parties really. Maybe a close friend gathering if anything. Parties nah.
Drinking of course! But with my fiance and her friends!

Suiting! Socializing! Drinking!
And exploring the dealer's den and artist's alley when I'm not in suit!
What time I usually go to bed and get up:
Sleep, late at night 2-4 AM. Awake early afternoon.

Due to suiting, I usually don't have my phone on me, if at all. If I do, I won't check it unless in the headless lounge or something.
So what's this "2020" added?
2019 has been an interesting year. Maybe not the best either. Having a vehicle croak on me, which is sad as it was the last thing I could remember my grandfather from, to job strugglings, to who knows what haha.
I've made it through the year regardless, and I'm ready for 2020. I'm ready to take on some new things I've been tryin to do this year actually. And what are those goals you ask?
Twitch Streaming on a regular basis? Yes, that's right. Not an easy thing, as I've tried a few, and got discouraged, but I feel now I can attempt again, and not let myself feel down. I know I gotta work hard to get a community going for my streams, so that's something I REALLY want to get into.
Art? I made an attempt to draw again during that little event called "Art Fight". sleepychi encouraged the idea, so I did try, but feel back on my butt with doing it. Got discouraged, and walked away. I wanna try again. Again, just have to not let myself get so discouraged.
New job? This is a major toss up. It's really hard to leave a job you've been at for, coming up to, 8 years. It pays alright, but being retail, and how retail politics work, and how customers treat us associates, it gets to me. Maybe that's why I usually feel discouraged often? It's draining either way. Hope I can get myself to looking for something new, refreshing, maybe pays a bit better. And if I'm gonna do streaming, something that'll work with whatever times I work with.
Start a business? This is something I've wanted to do. I enjoy fixing computers, and really wanna dive deeper into do this as a job, well at home even. Granted I live in a apartment complex, that might be the first start. Just gotta work on fair prices, and such.
Lastly, lose weight? Yeah, I've gained a good bit. I feel awful about it. I need to put effort into trying to shed the pounds off. Again, just need to encourage myself to do it. Not discourage it.

Life updates!
So after FWA. I'm taking the chance, and pursuing a new career. Well, hopefully going that direction.
My parents, whom have stressed about me doing this for years, got me books for the Civil Service test, for the USPS side. So yeah, workin for the government basically.
After doing some research whether it was something I wanna do. Actually yes. Sure job might be harder to do, or could be. But I'm tired of retail. 7+ years at Home Depot, I've had enough honestly.
The only reason I've stuck around honestly was for the health insurance heh. But the pay, the always closing hours, and overall bad management, has finally gotten to me.
As I work full time, my hours are always 1pm to 10pm. That is my entire day literally gone. And it feels I'm at work more then I am at home, which is a no no for sure.
So after FWA, I'm taking action, and gonna study for that test, and hope to pass haha. This is probably the very thing I need to do in my life to get into a better situation.

2017 gone. 2018 is here!

2017 was definitely a crazy ride! A lot of things happened this year for sure.
- I moved to Tallahassee to live with my fiancee alexdachshund
Which was a big deal. Having had lived with my parents for, at the time, 30 years. It was a huge step to take.
It's been almost a year now since I've here in Tallahassee, and so far I'm doing well.
- We got a dog!
He's a nut case haha. But he's a puppy still. Came from a rescue in Alabama.
We decided to get another dog as we had to make the hard decision of letting another go due to health problems, etc.
- I proposed! And she said YES!
While we made a huge deal about it already on the last night of MFF, figured why not say again!
I intended on going to this past MFF because it felt like a symbolic place of Alex, and I's relationship. Having gone in 2016 with her, and we had just started dating again, I felt the con held importance to her, and I.
I felt real lucky to snag a room for MFF2017 at the main hotel, and was set on going. TBH, I was hoping to go from the start as it was part of the plan.
Sunday night, she, and I went suiting by the lit trees outside, took some photos. That's when I got down, and asked her to be my wife <3 And she said YES! Best way to end the night, and the weekend at the con!
From here on, MFF holds importance for us both. For many reasons!
- Various other things happened during the year as well, both very positive, to negative. We'll leave the bad out though :P It's personal.
So what's 2018 lookin like?
- New job/career?
That's right! I'm lookin to get myself out of retail. Working at my job has been tough. It's startin to stress me out a good bit now. To the point I've nearly walked out even.
I imagine it's due to have transferred to a different store. So I got use to how things worked/ran at my previous store back in Melbourne, FL. But I don't know, it feels no different, to even worse really. And I really don't want any part of it. Not worth the pay I get now. Which just barely gets me by at all.
Well, my older brother who has ties with Apple (Outside source, as an IT but seen a credible tech to go to by Apple themselves) wants to help me achieve a career in what he does with Apple. So that's a thing soon. It was something I tried doing before, but back burned it due to personal issues going on. This is a second chance, and a chance I know will work out well, and I feel determined to give it my all! And it'll be something I can enjoy!
- Wedding planning!
Oh yes! Alex, and I, and her mom, are planning this out! We're in no rush right now but we hope to get things together for us to get married! When we get a date set, we'll update!
Lookin to do a scenic wedding, like in the mountains! Are we gonna wear our fursuits? We are thinking of doing so, but probably AFTER the real events are done! :P Gotta be real, and serious in this case though.

Well, I'd like to think due to my work schedule, and life, things came to a halt, and the idea was kinda scraped for me. But we'd be talkin again about making it a thing. 2017 was definitely a crazy ride! A lot of things happened this year for sure.
- I moved to Tallahassee to live with my fiancee alexdachshund
Which was a big deal. Having had lived with my parents for, at the time, 30 years. It was a huge step to take.
It's been almost a year now since I've here in Tallahassee, and so far I'm doing well.
- We got a dog!
He's a nut case haha. But he's a puppy still. Came from a rescue in Alabama.
We decided to get another dog as we had to make the hard decision of letting another go due to health problems, etc.
- I proposed! And she said YES!
While we made a huge deal about it already on the last night of MFF, figured why not say again!
I intended on going to this past MFF because it felt like a symbolic place of Alex, and I's relationship. Having gone in 2016 with her, and we had just started dating again, I felt the con held importance to her, and I.
I felt real lucky to snag a room for MFF2017 at the main hotel, and was set on going. TBH, I was hoping to go from the start as it was part of the plan.
Sunday night, she, and I went suiting by the lit trees outside, took some photos. That's when I got down, and asked her to be my wife <3 And she said YES! Best way to end the night, and the weekend at the con!
From here on, MFF holds importance for us both. For many reasons!
- Various other things happened during the year as well, both very positive, to negative. We'll leave the bad out though :P It's personal.
So what's 2018 lookin like?
- New job/career?
That's right! I'm lookin to get myself out of retail. Working at my job has been tough. It's startin to stress me out a good bit now. To the point I've nearly walked out even.
I imagine it's due to have transferred to a different store. So I got use to how things worked/ran at my previous store back in Melbourne, FL. But I don't know, it feels no different, to even worse really. And I really don't want any part of it. Not worth the pay I get now. Which just barely gets me by at all.
Well, my older brother who has ties with Apple (Outside source, as an IT but seen a credible tech to go to by Apple themselves) wants to help me achieve a career in what he does with Apple. So that's a thing soon. It was something I tried doing before, but back burned it due to personal issues going on. This is a second chance, and a chance I know will work out well, and I feel determined to give it my all! And it'll be something I can enjoy!
- Wedding planning!
Oh yes! Alex, and I, and her mom, are planning this out! We're in no rush right now but we hope to get things together for us to get married! When we get a date set, we'll update!
Lookin to do a scenic wedding, like in the mountains! Are we gonna wear our fursuits? We are thinking of doing so, but probably AFTER the real events are done! :P Gotta be real, and serious in this case though.

MFF Wrap up!

I enjoyed it last year. And really enjoyed it this year for sure.
MFF became the biggest con to date now. Passing AC in attendance even.
It sadly didn't snow D: as it was kinda warm, but the weather was still nice either way. Much better then Florida xD
What made MFF super important, and full of memories was spending it with my wife to be. Sunday night, close to midnight I asked to be my wife. She said Yes!
While it's to say, proposing at a con seems "Tacky" to some. I didn't think so. Well, we didn't think so. MFF seemed to be the best con, and place to do so. It WAS our first con together when we starting dating, so it held a lot of importance for us.
We both had a blast either way. And Sunday night proposal was really the best way to end it with a bang <3333
We will definitely be back for 2018! For now, FWA will be in our sights :D

Megaplex 2017. My honest opinions.
Posted 8 years agoSo Megaplex 2017 has come, and gone.
Usually I have a blast, and have memories to follow it. Spend as much time as I can with friends. And fursuit as much as I humanly can even!
This year was my 6th Megaplex, and I can't say I had the best of time.
Why didn't I have the best time? Neither did my girlfriend, and many others honestly.
Well lets point things out.
Resort style hotel. With a motel vibe to it. Though to be fair, the rooms were pretty nice. We had a nice room so I won't complain there.
Had 3 areas that could host events, and such for conventions. Probably not furry ones very well. Anime, maybe! Or business things.
Depending where you got roomed, you had to walk to those 3 buildings. Which in this weather, as a fursuiter, isn't enjoyable at all haha.
Weather ranging from really hot, with the humidity sky high so it just made temperatures worse for fursuiting during the day. And if it rained. You had the muggy feel. Also if you had a very high chance of getting your paws soaking wet since when it did rain, it was usually near the evening hours, and thus the sun isn't out long enough to help rid some of the moisture on the ground.
Because of weather, we hardly suited. There wasn't much cover for us to walk under to keep us cool, or dry. 90% chance you'd eventually have to walk outside to get to ANY building in the area.
One building, The Lakes Conference Building, was such a building not many people knew was there. Not only that, said building was still being worked out, so I felt it confused people if they could go into it or not. It was suppose to be done before Megaplex, and I feel that's where most everything of the con was to be held at, but it wasn't due to said construction, etc.
Now it's suppose to be done next year, but that will never solve the big issue for those who fursuit, granted the weather won't stop them anyways, is the weather. Wasn't much guard against it. Most people are so use to going to a convention that everything is in the building (Like the last two hotels Megaplex was held at, or FWA, AC, MFF, etc) so getting into fursuit, and being inside was better then having to walk outside, and be hot, tired, and such because of being in direct heat to get to where you wanted to go. Even out of suit, it was pretty bad. Florida is just known for it's pretty awful summers anyways so this should've been a given really.
Now they have a contract there for an X amount of years (I think 3 years I heard). And so I won't be coming back until a new place is found, and better suited for a convention for furries.
This isn't only coming from me, or my girlfriend. There are plenty of people who went, and did not have an enjoyable time this year at Megaplex. Sure we had a growth, but that growth could come down next year. Again, I feel they're gonna be losing people in attending such as myself, and my girlfriend.
I did try my best to spend the convention as best I could. If anything, I got to enjoy it being with my girlfriend, and running into a few friends. But as a convention, I didn't really. I tried, I really did, so did she. It just felt, off.
So until then, we won't be back until they move venues.
Now before you go to comment. Please understand, this was my opinion. If you went, and felt the same way, and want to add your own comment, go ahead. If you went, and found it enjoyable. Well good for you! I'm glad you did! Not being sarcastic either! :P But I'd rather you not attack me, or those who clearly didn't enjoy it. I'll hide your comments if you do that.

How was my FWA?

We ended up going on Wednesday as we forgot we had the room booked Wed to Mon xD Oops. But hey, free day right? Can't say no to that!

Common courtesy, I am in a CLOSED relationship and I would not appreciate, and wouldn't be very happy to see someone flirt, or touch my girlfriend when I'm obviously there! Be ready to be told off if I see it happen!
(Unless you are a friend of hers, and do that kind of thing as a friendship deal, that's different! I know the difference, as my friends do it to me too!)
If you plan to hug me in suit. Please ask or with arms open, and standing in front of me. Please do not tackle hug me. Don't be rough about it. Don't get frisky with it. And don't hug me from behind.
If we invite you to the room, please be courteous. Don't touch things that aren't yours. Don't put on our suit heads, etc. I only allow my girlfriend, and other close friends touch my suit.
Also...do not stalk us. If we tell you please do not follow us. Respect that! Have had friends, and myself have run ins like that, and it's not cool.

MFF...How was it?

I loved it! I had been wanting to go for awhile now. And hearing all the buzz about it. Finally decided to take the chance, and go!
This was my first ever time going to MFF so one can imagine how overwhelming it was for me. This was a MUCH bigger con to what I'm use to. FWA would be a close one in terms of amount of people that attended, but MFF had 7000+! Megaplex was shy of 2000 iirc. FWA, I forget haha. But still, MFF was definitely much bigger attending wise!
I was blessed to have with me, and showed me everything, as it was her 3 year going.
We drove up together. That's a pretty long drive haha. Easily the longest, and furthest drive I've done.
But it wasn't bad really! We talked, laughed, played Pokemon GO at rest stops XD. And enjoyed the sights, and our time together! <3
Even during the con, we spent our time together!!
Anyways, will I be going back? Damn right I will!
Now, FWA is in our sights!! And I LOVE the theme for it! Gaming!
