I haven't been active lately cuz I was struggling >.< Also I don't know how to be consistent with multiple accounts lmao
BUT there seems to be a light in the tunnel!! So I'm extremely happy and hopeful!
Will I be uploading doodles here? Probably not as much cuz I seem to be gravitating towards BlueSky. But, I'll try!

Commission Interest Check and tips on improvement

I have access to a scanner now so I’m excited! I was thinking $20 for a colored headshot with +$3 a simple border like the first image and $15 for a b/w inked headshot.
I can do these fairly quickly, but to not overwhelm myself I’d take 5 slots at a time. I would allow a $5 deposit for a slot then the rest be paid when the sketches gets the green light to continue. Does this seem okay to you guys? Anything I can change?

Depression is coming back, y'all
Posted 2 years agoHey y'all. I'm feeling down...the cloud of depression is coming back and I can feel it.
The summary is my family don't want me back home and I already got my ticket home...that flat out rejection by my family, people who used to tell me that we should never abandon each other, don't want me back. They literally called me an "extra mouth to feed" and "mentally ill" and someone who is going to fail at everything they do.
I've always tried to not be a burden and to be called a burden by family really hurts.
I simply can't be a teacher overseas anymore cuz the air quality is so bad here and it's making me sick. Also this job is making me depressed as well.
I've been going through the moods of anger and sadness like a damn cycle and I'm struggling going through these past two weeks. Having to pretend to be happy for kids is so exhausting

Why I adopt characters instead of commission
Posted 2 years agoTo be honest, there's been too many situations where I commission an artist, then they flat out disappear. It's happened so many times, I just got sick of it. Even artists that have many commissions in their gallery. They usually disappear
Getting adopts is less risky in my opinion. When you send the payment, you get the file quicker and you can fave the auction page just in case the artist decides to bounce.
Idk why I'm writing this, but I'm just looking back on unfinished commissions and I'm just frustrated. Like, damn if you were going to scam me, I might as well wasted my money on other things.
EDIT: I'm not saying "never commission artists" I'm just saying why I rarely do it

Why do I keep getting sick every month??

Just the usual "I swear I'm not dead" post. I'm sick again and this is the 5th month in a row. Why do I keep getting sick? I dunno...being overweight can't be the ONLY reason I'm getting sinus infections and mysterious coughs all the time. The doctors just tell me "lose weight" but it's easier said than done...anyways I'm off to cough up a lung

But from what I understand the policy hasn't changed since like 2015? But they're being stricter, I think...but I did read vore with minors is ok, but that doesn't sit right with me...but I know nothing about vore so I suppose my opinion doesn't matter there.
How do you guys feel about this situation? I'm tired, it's bedtime lmao, I'll respond when I wake up.

Game Jam Advice?

I'm joining some game jams and I just wanted some programming advice. I'm using RPGmaker and Tyrannobuilder seperately for different games. Any programs you can recommend for story heavy games? Any programs you just love using? I'm not good at 3D stuff yet...or coding...
The programs I have are GameMaker, RPGMaker MV, Tyranobuilder (kinda mid but if there's anything better lemme know) and Smile Game Builder.
I'm a red mage at all of these: I dabbled in all of em but mastered none.
IDK if it's my ADHD but I tend to jump from project to project. What keeps you guys on one game at a time?
