Things have been good, with bout over 50% of the backers for top tiers (not even at the near 40 others for the simple character art).

Its a lot of characters and locations to read, 20 chars so far, and 5 locations, plus the additional Canidians, Mirages, Automatons, and Gryphon mechancis and rules!

I apologize for many of you feeling like you are left in the dark, but I am certainly here, working as hard as I can to provide a quality rpg game for you all to enjoy!

I'm here to provide an update for many of you who have been watching, new and old!

I've been hard at work on writing an RPG titled Roan with permission from Jeff Combos the owner of the RPG System Ubiquity.
Roan will be having a kickstarter on June 1st to cover all the costs that have gone into the production of the book itself.

There is a multitude of art that has been placed into it, and I hope many of you will enjoy all that has been provided from many well known artists, credited below!

This has taken me almost a year and a half of writing, mechanics balancing, and artist collaboration.

Roan aims to bring you grand adventures such as Indiana Jones adventures, or Where Eagles Dare + magic.
Roan is set in a world similar to our 1940s but with a breath of fantasy such as knights and armor. Guns clash in combat along side swords, using magic or gunpowder to inflict devastation!

A friend of mine has come under some heavy medical bill troubles, after nearly dying of an almost burst appendix.

So, I've not done any 3D for awhile (hobby wise that is)

I feel a bit annoyed, but at the same time, I look at my situation and realize, I definitely got things good.

Recently purchased the adobe package to work with video editing, and more importantly Flash Action Scripting, specifically AS3 for ipad and android development.

In some cases it all has come about specifically because of my new job, which is weird, being a programmer when I was usually a 3D graphic artist.

Also means my having to relocate my position so that I'm closer to work, so I've had a lot to think about!

A happy 4th of July to all the good folks!

Had a convention in D.C. to go to, course the Sec of Defense canceled it so no showing off our UCAG (That's Unmanned Cargo Aero Gyro to you civvies).

The 20 ton air dropped bunker is still in the waits, soooo yeah hope to show it soon!


On my business, welp, Poole and Associates keeps me busy as ever with proposal works.

And of course doing work at home for the "Game Design Series" gosh I need to think of a good name.

I aim to tech folks about business and game design in a delightfully fun way, seeing the evolution of stories, the use of different story telling techniques as well as using different business systems, waterfall or Agile system.

So its building models, sculpting more, making landscapes and animation/texturing....
Sheesh I definitely do need to start finding folks to help out!

As well I'm helping others convert sculpts into nice, clean models (i.e. remodelling over the high poly sculpt!)

And I do hope to gift a few people who've either done much for the community or have been great friends to me!

I hope not to disappoint!

I have now survived 27 years of life and look forward to passing this score more and more in the coming years!

On other news, I continue to work on my 3D abilities, having perfected vehicle texturing, I hope to improve my organic and cloth texturing.

My hopeful animation series is starting to work out as I have continued help from Mike with creating an action system in the Unity 3D Engine as well as a lip synch system.

Nothing L.A. Noir but good enough, and we now have a working morph system similar to Oblivion, so further character and body modeling is a definite!
