As for Megaplex and the trip afterwards: Awesome. Though many of us got covid afterwards, which isn't much fun. But from the start and a certain someone getting lost in the airport with no phone charge, to buying all the things at the convention and enjoying their great pool, to arriving at disney to start with a bus accident, the very next day having literally half of Magic Kingdom shut down for a loose bear... It was a wild ride. I'm still sick but trying to get back into streaming. Hoping you had a great time if you went or an even better time if you are just hanging out seeing as it is almost a month afterwards...Oops.

I'm now working on a krogan bot, but it is harder.

Hey everyone, hope you are doing well. Funny how a year can change things.

The good (or great):

- Finally got on disability after 2.5 years of trying. I'm now getting some income and have coverage enough to start getting tests or see doctors again!
- Streaming goes well and I'm starting to get a great community of people who are just chill and kind, that's all I really want out of streaming is to have a group that leaves everyone in a better mood than when they take off. - The new krogan model is complete and I'm already using it in VRChat. It looks fantastic and like a beast, more like something that seems a bit more in line with the game talking about people being scared when one is charging towards them. I love it and hope to get it converted into something I can stream with soon.
- MEGAPLEX is just a month or two away and I'm excited! Several friends are going and it should be amazing, I'm hoping to have some krogan gauntlets made of leather completed beforehand which should make the convention a bit more unique. For those keeping track, this would be the third time the krogan has been commissioned in either full or partial suit. Here's hoping that I actually get them this time!

The Bad:

- Health is poor and the mental parts are taking a toll. Some days are great while others I can't recall much of anything and have a hard time finding the word I want to use. Hopefully now that I'm covered I will be able to track down this issue more than I have before. One med has slowed the progression but waiting two years hasn't done me any favors.
- Being a krogan has made it hard to find a chair that works, my old busted one has been replaced twice: once with a hugely expensive one from a popular gaming chair site and that one was replaced by a much cheaper one from staples. Both have succeeded in nearly breaking my ass after like an hour, when my old one would keep me good for many hours.


Who will be at megaplex? I should be easy to spot, as always, I'll be wearing a krogan face mask with a cane and my red convention backpack. I hope that we can hang out or catch a drink since it seems like it is going to be a billion degrees during the convention. I hope that y'all are doing good and feel free to let me know if you'll be going or how you're doing. Y'all have been missed.

It's that time of night where you start thinking about characters that you have but have left to rot. Ones that might be popular with dozens of pictures or maybe just idea sketches that never made it to the internet in general. I have sold characters in the past that I got art of but stopped using and might consider doing it to others even one of my more mainstream ones like Liara. My disability claim a year and a half in the works was declined, as apparently all of them are, and is moving towards getting a hearing; which will take another 8 months. Just to get the date, then likely more months until the hearing, then time to get the money coming in even IF they rule in my favor. So basically another year without income. Another year of waiting to see what is eating my brain and destroying my ability to think as well as speak.

Fun fun.

Later on I'll likely make a list of characters that I would sell but if you've had your eye on someone for a while and want to message me with an offer, then I will listen on any except for Baera (my night fury goo lad) and the blue krogan Scorn. Gearing up for a big project involving Liara and getting her a voice acted comic/asmr tease and then getting pretty much ghosted by several people whom I'd paid to do the work last year has pretty much soured me on projects involving her. They all seem to end up with me spending a lot and getting nothing. So now with me having no money, I don't see much point in keeping the art made for it secret yet I'm over a year behind on uploading things to this website.

Streaming seems to be going well about three months in but will likely be years before there is any income from it but I knew that going in. It isn't all about the money; I'd rather have a community of great people we have built that can depend on each other. I'm going to look into building a ko-fi and a patreon page once I get some content going. So I'll have to hope that people will want to see a krogan playing games while he slowly descends into madness that is streaming: Where the audience tries to kill them with long hours and jump scares.

I'll likely write up a post FWA journal sometime soon but maybe I should just try to go back to bed seeing it is nearly 6am.

Some of you may have noticed I have started playing games while pretending to be a krogan. So far it has been fun to meet new friends and some old people that I'd never been able to chat with. I'm thankful for the support that you all have shown me thus far as we made our way through Mass Effect 1 and 2. There are millions of streams you could be watching instead of me so it is humbling that even one person would tune into me being bad online professionally.

Once I get to 50 followers on Twitch I will hold a giveaway with art with any of my characters and yours, or just yours if you would prefer, as thanks since I didn't think I would get that far and never so fast. I'm hoping to create a community of people who enjoy hanging out together and that will have fun while I headbutt my keyboard in frustration. If you want to hang out, I normally stream around 7pm EST for several hours and may begin an afternoon stream with a different game for those in alternate timelines. I'm also working on some things to help grow such a community of people such as a discord but that won't be launched until there is a bit more work done on it. Ironically sitting around in servers lurking is something that I've always been bothered by but this whole streaming experience has just been one large step out of the comfort zone boat. There is still a ton of work to do, tons to learn, but I am enjoying the start.

I'm starting a new chapter in my life and I plan on making it y'alls problem. I'm going to be starting to stream some games once in a while since virtual friend hangouts are about all that are safe in the world nowadays. I figure that a krogan starting the stream journey with replaying mass effect would be the best bet working my way up to the hated andromeda. I will be providing links and such shortly as I'm finalizing my setup right now but wanted to give you and the other person reading this a heads up. Being a disabled streamer who gets mad at things that are obviously his fault may not be a new frontier but looking like a krogan while doing it just may be.

The current plans are using twitch and uploading videos to youtube, likely streaming in the evenings around 8pm est. Having left my job at Disney has given me a little bit more time in my day now that I'm not having to work 13 hour days six days a week.

I look forward to sharing more information soon and hope to see you guys once in a while. There will likely be candy. And cursing. And breaking of the keyboards in true krogan style.

So long as civilization continues I'm hoping to go to this years Megaplex in orlando and will be sharing a room with Caudle. Though I might just hide in my room even though I'm vaxed, it will be weird to be around loads of people again after so long. Many* of you know that I deal with some painful long term issues health wise but recently they have been accelerating with wonderful new issues popping up. Specifically my mind is having difficulty in both memory as well as the ability to speak/think, which is making life difficult moreso than usual. I got to have surprise surgery yesterday that was trying to fix one issue and diagnose another which I am now recovering from. Not much fun since I'm one of those at risk people who has been cowering at home since February.

Since sitting up hurts I'm going to keep this brief: I ask for your understanding during this time. If I ask you the same questions a few days in a row or cannot recall things, it isn't me being a dick. I am not ignoring your messages but likely cannot literally think of what to say or cannot remember to reply. This isn't personal and it is me, not you; as the old cliche goes. I shouldn't have to write that out but apparently it is thing people think.

Thank you for all the well wishes, y'all are too kind. Another year which means too much money spent on artwork that nobody else likes (except you of course) and it looks like next year will slow a little bit due to convention savings mixed with the need for a new computer.

Had pneumonia on and off since christmas, with all the glorious coughing that entails. Got an xray of my chest where they found things that weren't supposed to be there, so they ordered an CT scan. My doctor called today and ordered me to get blood work done before seeing another doctor tomorrow morning. Apparently it isn't cancer but she is worried that it could be other fun things such as me somehow destroying my own lungs?

I didn't know that was an option. Sucks with both pairs of lungs decide to fail, what's the point of having backups?

Since there were only five entries I am going to just split the prize I was going to use for the community choice award with the other two entries, that way there are no losers. Thank you to all who participated and I'll be messaging everyone in the next day or so to get payments on the way. Since I thought to ask everything but where to send the money on the form because I'm stupid.

So two days before I was set to move to Texas (back in april) it appears that the entire thing fell through, so I am now scrambling a bit to figure out what life has in store for me. So yay. I get to stay in Florida and try to find something to do for work.

Today is my last day working for Disney World, a dream I had since I was five (so a real long time now) which has now come to a close. It is quite the magical place to work and getting in for free was quite nice but the time has come to part ways. In the time that I have worked there I have dealt with all sorts of guest issues that I can now share for those interested.

- An upset family enraged to the point of security having to remove them from the property because the lady could not bring her actual tiger cub into the park in a stroller. She claimed that she had been able to do so at Animal Kingdom but Magic Kingdom was turning her away. Her husband chimed in that we had just made up the rule saying 'no tigers' just then and therefore it wasn't enforceable. They were also upset that the local news (which should give you an idea of how long they were raging and how loudly they were raging,) both radio and internet, were referring to his wife as a "foreigner." - Guest demanding that I personally pay for her "distress" from having purchased a toy pistol from the Indiana Jones show and trying to bring it on an airplane. The airline of course didn't like this idea and confiscated it. Guest was also upset that she had been given the run around and the phone number she'd been given was to the trailer of the Indiana Jones actors trailer. I mentioned how lucky she was to have talked to Harrison Ford and she got even more upset. By the end of the conversation she was demanding that in addition to money (lots of it) the guest demanded that we put signs over all the toy guns saying "You cannot bring guns on an airplane." She didn't find that as amusing as I did.

- Guest with special needs demanding that all balloons be removed from the entire property. All 50 square miles of it. When I suggested that we would not be able to remove all balloons from all parks and resorts the guest began to swear that I was personally endangering their child with a latex allergy. When I tried to clarify that they perhaps only meant their room, they said no it would have to be the entire property or they were going to sue me personally for failing to follow the American Disability Act.

- One of my personal favorites was a guest who wanted to complain that the Harry Potter area of Disney (which isn't owned or operated by Disney nor is it even near our property) was poorly run, took forever to get from there to the current location (her resort on property here) and that the number of people were outrageous to the point where it was shoulder to shoulder people. Furthermore she made it quite clear that she was hugely disappointed in how Disney ran it and that the cost was far too high to do this "Witchcraft stuff." When I said that I agree it could be run better but that we did not own nor operate that park (Harry Potter is at Universal) she thought I was making fun of her and demanded to speak with Walt Disney. That isn't possible said I, he's been gone for 40 years almost. The guest then went on to rant that I was ignoring her and demanded to speak to someone with the last name of Disney. I said that they were all busy at the Sorting Ceremony but here is their email if you want it.

There are countless other times that I got to make magic for families and those are some of the best memories I shall be taking from this place; there are also countless times I was personally threatened with either harm or litigation for various silly things such as rain or other nonsense. I will be sad to leave but it also will be a relief to not be having to deal with much of what goes on in the background that had started to bother me for the last year or so, mostly as it comes down to marketing and general pricing. Disney has never been cheap but the room costs literally doubling, tickets up by 20%-70%, parking fees now for everyone, and discounts up to 40% but that are shockingly rare for all dates in the range; have just become too much. I shall also be moving in a few weeks but that journal shall be for another time and day mostly because it's 2.30 am and I'm tired.

Got to see the SpaceX rocket go up on its first flight and it was a grand thing to see. Most impressive part was the two boosters coming back to land a few miles away and then the quad sonic booms reminding me of the shuttle landings. Traffic was awful though; it seems most of the space coast wanted to come see the new start for the space program. Look forward to doing it again when they launch a person just hope to spend less than six hours in the truck to do so.

I got to thinking yesterday about the characters of those furries who have died, how right after their creator is gone they get a burst of attention but then start to fade. I find that sad that some of the characters like Desiree that got me into the fandom slowly are forgotten. I have a plan to try and slow that process, once I get my new job I plan on getting fairly regular pictures of characters so that new audiences can see them and fall in love. It also got me thinking about my characters like Liara which currently I plan on letting Inka and Taco control once I'm gone. Even though Taco is like 40 years older than I am.

What are some of the characters you would want to see live again in art? Feel free to link the artist and/or character that you don't want to see forgotten any longer, so we can together honor their memory.

A bit late but I figured I'd be a bit different than all the merry christmasers. Thank you all for another great year, seeing as we have survived I am calling it a great year. Here's hoping that you all have a great day tomorrow be it with family good or bad, alone (good or bad), and everything in between. I think that I'm going to list a few things I hope to get done next year so that it can be looked back on when this time comes round again:

- Move for new job
- Keep new job
- Get purple mattress so I feel less like dying when in bed
- Krogan suit final design and deposit paid
- Go to Vegas for the first time
- Help a friend get their suit made via donation

Thank you all for the birthday wishes in the last few days. This last year has been full of ups and downs but the next appears to be starting what may be the best yet full of better jobs, new places, awesome people and perhaps a crush or two. Texas move appears to be moving forward somewhere between Jan and march. To celebrate the new job I may hold a contest like I haven't had in many a year.

Last time I gave away technology and money, y'all think it should just be money this time? First second and third? Just winner take all? I do like the idea of a user choice award where you guys get to pick a winner too. More festive.

Thanks to my job I shall likely be on call through the entire storm making magic for people who have decided to ride out the storm at your friendly Most Magical Place On Erf.
