Thinking of making a new account.
Posted 8 years agoMight move to a new account. I'm torn because I have a LOT of people I'm watching and it'll be a long while before I ultimately end up building this kinda watchlist again.
I kinda want my own little account to post my own work to, though. My work sucks, sure, but it'd be kinda nice to start posting it again.
Still considering it. Not sure I wanna do it. I wanna leave some shit behind from this account but the effort of moving to a new account entirely is a big deal. So... I'll think on it for a while.

Posted 8 years agoSo, I've been a bit slow about it but I figured I'd give you all a heads up about what's going on.
The jist of it is that a few days ago I had an argument with my mum and she threatened to call the cops on me over it. I've had problems with my mum several times in the past but I was afraid that she would legitimately do it, and if she did, the cops would automatically be on her side.
So I left. I packed a bag and got out of the house. Thanks to the help of two very dear friends, I've been bussed to South Carolina, where I'm currently residing in a hotel until some housing arrangements have been made.
It's been a pretty crazy week. I'm glad to be out of that place.

Posted 9 years agoI see this everywhere. Ads going "Get out there and vote!", swarming the masses towards the polling stations and acting like you're the worst piece of shit ever if you don't vote.
Do you know who actually gets swayed by these messages? Idiots. Idiots who don't make informed decisions when they vote. Sheeple who vote for the fuck of voting without actually knowing the policies of who they're voting for. Tribalists who vote for an individual strictly because of their political affiliation without regard for their actual policies. Are those kinds of people REALLY who you want to decide our president for the next four years? Somebody who's only voting because they want to fit in with the crowd? Who don't know what the fuck they're actually voting for?
It's not an American's duty to vote. It is an American's DUTY to make an INFORMED DECISION to choose the individual that they believe will be the legitimately best leader for our country for the next four years.
Fuck that "everyone should vote" shit. All it does is promote herd mentality and idiocy, and it's a part of why our country is so fucked up right now.

trapthexx's character, Centiv.
Already-existing stuff won't be deleted, but I'd prefer if any other adult-oriented or romance-focused imagery did not use Freyz.

Posted 9 years agoI'm gonna be unwatching people slowly over time for a while now.
Yesterday I cleared out my submissions inbox finally. It had 43,000 images that I missed, stuff that I'm honestly a little disappointed to've missed out on because I know there was probably loads of stuff I'd have dug in there.
After deleting it, not ten minutes later I had another 12 submissions to look at. Today I left it alone for a couple of hours to play Doom and there were some 100+ submissions waiting for me even though I'd just cleaned it out.
I simply cannot keep up with the sheer number of images entering my inbox, so I'll be unwatching folks over time to thin it out a bit and hopefully get fewer submissions per day.

But remember how toxic they you felt like they were, and just feel like it would end in a repeat?
Couple of people I really miss because we seemed to be good friends, but over time I realized they were really toxic and felt like I was always walking on eggshells around them and left.
But I still miss them, cuz I legitimately liked them despite their toxicity... and it kinda makes me sad to think about.

Is anybody else not able to view submission names?
Posted 9 years agoIn my submissions inbox, none of the thumbnails show the artists' names nor the titles of the images. I don't know if this is a setting issue or if it's some kind of shitty "upgrade" that was made, or what.

Posted 9 years agoWhen somebody makes a journal about a really polarizing topic and then whines about it endlessly and how if everyone just did things THEIR way then it'd all be a perfect, ideal world. Completely ignorant of the actual problems inherent in the situation of the issue.
But clearly they know everything! Including how everything should be run and how best to handle every polarizing topic ever, and any time that a flaw is pointed out in their ill-thought-out "plan", they get snarky and passive-aggressive instead of actually addressing the issue.
Oh and they write journals about various issues several times a week in a several manner. And even if it's not actually an issue but just a little thing that they find somewhat annoying, they paint it as the WORST MOST VILE THING EVER and ANYBODY WHO SUPPORTS IT IS GARBAGE AND EVIL. Because, y'know, having any point of view other than the one that belongs to you is blatantly wrong, because nothing in the world is grey, it's all black and white.
Bonus points if a new thing "Grinds their gears" every other day. Pheeeeewie!
