I am finally back from my month long hiatus. I visited my family in...the Philippines! It was my first time there and I can honestly say that I have truly fallen in love with the PI. I am so happy I could see my family and help them as much as I could while I was there. I want to go back as soon as I can. Now my next mission is to learn tagalog, haha! If there is anyone out there who could be a private tutor..I will pay you! Either in drawings or monies, hahaha!
So I'm back. I will be getting back into the ol' grind again and offering auctions and sketches once I get back into the groove of things. I hope you have all been doing well! I missed the community <3

Leaving for a month!

Some of you may have known that I've been trying to save up to go see my grandparents, and well, the day has finally come! I am packing and leaving for my flight today. I've worked really hard these past 2 months even with my slight shoulder injury (it is getting much better though! Almost not noticeable now, thank goodness!). I just really wanted to say thank you to all my supporters. I would not be able to go on this trip without you guys and to be able to see my family right now is such a blessing to me. Seriously, thank you. You are all so awesome.
Not sure how active I will be. I'm only bringing my phone and my iPad with me (I can draw on it though! :D yay).
See you all in a month!

Important Health Update // Future commissions

I'm usually pretty quiet about my health issues but this one really hinders my work so I just wanted to let you all know. My right shoulder has not been doing well for about a month now and it got pretty bad about 2 weeks ago. You've seen me post some pieces recently because I've just now been able to work on some of the commissions that I have accepted when I opened up for them. I bought a ergonomic mount/arm for my 21.5'' display tablet to atleast kinda help make my work space more ergonomic as well as purchasing a small macro keypad instead of using my larger keyboard to keep my arms from spreading out so much. But I've just been taking a lot more breaks and it IS getting better, it's just taking a long time. I've been stretching and definitely taking more breaks.
So in the mean time I will have to hold off on the e-mails I've received. I just finished my last commission I owe so I have a clean slate right now!
So for now I will just have to go back and offer head shot/bust sketches only for awhile. Flat coloring and beyond is a little too heavy for me to do right now and I still have a lot to save up for my trip to help my family. So I would rather do larger bursts of smaller projects vs. maybe one or two larger projects that will take waaay more time when I'm already pretty slow to begin with.
I may also offer traditional media as well if people are interested. Drawing traditionally is actually the only thing that doesnt really hurt my shoulder at all. Makes me wonder if I should just start doing traditional for abit, spread out more. :) It would be pretty cool to send one of a kind pieces to my commissioners. <3
And I just realized I hit 200k views...wow. Just thank you so much to all my viewers and supporters. I feel so honored and just thank you for enjoying my work!

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME PAYMENT until I okay your commission. This is very important.
So please be patient, I have a very high number of people at this moment and it's quite overwhelming, it's been awhile since I offered commissions. I just don't want to accept way more than I can handle, so I need to keep work loads small. This is to ensure that every person will get their commission swiftly after they have paid. So I will be offering very special auctions and possibly opening up for regular commissions, which I never do. So please be on the lookout for future offerings because this is a special limited time I will be doing it in this manner. I will be doing this for about 2 months or so.

Update: Comp died...but I got a new laptop!
Posted 10 years agoHey so my computer is definitely broken down, it really sucks cause I really can't get to my files at the moment. But hopefully I will be able to, just not right away.
But I bought a macbook pro and it's working out great! I actually haven't used a mac in a really long time and I got to say I actually like it so much better already. AND I can finally use photoshop properly which tbh is a first for me. I hated paying $20/month for a program I barely used..but was crucial. Now I will probably be learning how to use photoshop fully (good bye Paint tool Sai..for now).
Anyways, almost got my laptop to where I want it to be and I'll be back to work very soon!
Thanks for the continuous support everyone! Hopefully I can offer sketches and all of that very soon!

So yeah my computer just decided to poop out on me yesterday. The motherboard might have fried so I do not have a computer at the moment. My hard drive is safe so hopefully I won't lose any of my work files.. I just apologize in advance. There's some sketches I still need to give to people and I really hope I can get all my files ._.

I'm finally caught up with commissions and will be offering more slots very soon! I haven't decided if I'm going to do a YCH auction or just offer small things such as headshots/busts and what not. My flat knee ups and busts really kicked me in the butt and they take a lot longer than I thought... I guess this is just due to my perfectionist ways when it comes to clean line art which takes me FOREVER. So I won't be offering those as much as I have been. I will either do a YCH or offer sketches only.
I have also been very busy in my personal life. I have been spending a lot of time with my significant other because I haven't seen him in over 2 months. So I've been really juggling personal life and art at the moment.

I'm finally caught up with commissions and will be offering more slots very soon! I haven't decided if I'm going to do a YCH auction or just offer small things such as headshots/busts and what not. My flat knee ups and busts really kicked me in the butt and they take a lot longer than I thought...
