I heard from  rabbitfangs ‘s sister who informed me there will be no memorial service, so there’s no place for people to send sympathies. However, she said she’d like to learn more about Fang’s online friends and how he knew them.

So, I am putting together a “Memorial Book” – which is a PDF that I will send to her. People can submit a page to this with pictures/stories/wishes.

If you were close to Fangs:
- Submit pictures (Please keep it PG as this isn’t the best time for NSFW art) featuring either your sonas alone or yours and Fang’s characters. These don’t have to be brand new – you can pull from what is already in your gallery.
- Submit stories/thoughts/memories/sentiments. There’s no guideline or anything. Just anything you want to say.
-Make sure you include your name or username somewhere on your page.

If you weren’t close to Fangs, but still want to be included:
- Send any thoughts/wishes/words etc. and I will include those quotes in a page. See below on how to send them.

Specifications and where to send
- Each page must be 8.5” x 11” (standard paper size). Save as a .JPG. You can arrange your page however you’d like. Remember to keep images PG.

Hello, everyone.

By now, you may have heard that the owner of this account,  rabbitfangs has passed away. Fangs was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed.

I've been asked by Fang's sister to make an announcement so people know what's going on.


At this point, that's all I can think to say.

I need some more games to play and it doesn't seem easy to find ones that a. I like
b. I can play on my older Toshiba Satellite-which isn't by any means a powerful game playing machine and c. is 'my' kind of game.
I've got and love The Pirates Fate and Night In The Woods. Played both of them over and over. I like The Wild Eternal also, though all the aimless wandering got old till I played it enough to kind of know where to go. All 3 have great sound tracks, which is a big plus too. I also work at The Changeling Tale now and again, though it isn't yet finished and has a male protagonist. But the art and story lines rock.

So what I'm basically looking for are single player with preferably a female protagonist games with good soundtracks, engaging story lines, good art, romance but not explicit sex scenes and will play on an older, not terribly fast or powerful laptop. Stuff on Steam is easy to preview, which is nice, and would be an added plus to me.

So! Has anyone out there got some games they think a choosy bunny like me would like? Cause if you do, I'd sure appreciate your letting me know!

Oh, and one more thing. I love it when the game has multiple branches with multiple possible endings, like The Pirate's Fate. They tend to keep me happy longer. >:3

I've seen how Megan and Grace do these things, and responded to and read the comments of many of them. Now I think it's my turn to do one. So, anyone with a question. For those of you old enough to remember 'The Monkees, Thursday was another sad day of loss. Peter Tork died of a rare form of cancer. He was the second member of the group to die, and was 77 years old. Their music lives on though in such songs as I'm A Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, Pleasant Valley Sunday and I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone. You will be missed Peter Tork!

Last Friday, the 12th of September, I had my last radiation treatment. I'd been taking them 5 days a week for the last 6 weeks, minus a few days I had to skip because I was hurting too badly. This was the follow up to the cancer surgeries I had on my nose and cheek. Basically a CYA thing to make sure that any cancerous cells left in me would be killed instead of given a chance to get another foothold. So now, hopefully, I'm cancer free, though only time will tell for absolute sure. I see the Oncologist again in about a month for her to look me over and for me to tell her if anything seems off. If she doesn't suggest another PET CT scan, I may ask for one for my own peace of mind. It would show any buildup of cancerous cells in my face or nearby. I'll see when the time comes.

So, to any of you sun worshipers out there, be warned. Even a little skin cancer that the dermatologist can scoop off in his office can be a fooler and turn into something a lot more serious and painful. Use sunblock!! Wear a hat! And don't try to be the tannest person in the room! I'm positive I'd have never gotten this cancer if I hadn't spent hours lying on the beach every day in Mexico, soaking up sun. Anyone interested in seeing before, during and after pix of how this affected my face, I'll be glad to send you a link to a few. I don't think I'll put it here, just to prevent any whining that the surgery picture is too grody. =p

So I had my second surgery yesterday. It was pretty tough. I didn't come out of it well at all, but today I'm beginning to see the light and believe I'll recover all right. The cancer had metastasized and was spreading aggresively but my doctor thinks...hopes....he got it all. It had invaded at least one lymph node, which was removed. The biopsies will tell the full story in a few days. Meanwhile my face is somewhat changed,missing a little bit of nose and going to have a hollowed out cheek it appears, but that and the scar will just add to my pirate persona and go with my skull and crossbones eyepatch nicely.
So for all my concerned friends who have shown their well wishes and given me such nice comments, a super big thank you! I appreciate and love all of you, my furry friends! >:3

I got in a hurry to go see the doc this morning and accidentally deleted a bunch of comments....I think. I just got back online thinking I had about 10 or even more and there was only one. So If anyone commented to me yesterday or this morning and didn't get a response, could you please either re-comment or let me know where to look for it? (assuming you remember....I often comment and then forget about it or what I said) I reply to every comment I get unless they are obvious trolls and that hasn't happened to me for a long time. *knock on wood* Thanks people!! >:3

I got the news today. It wasn't benign, so I go under the knife again soon. Just when, I don't know yet. Probably in a week or two. The doc wants to dig deeper and try to be sure there isn't any trace of it left in there. This time in the hospital under a general, so he can explore and whatever to his hearts content without me feeling it. Whoopie....

I'd like to thank all of my friends who replied to my last journal and wished me well on my surgery today. Thank you all so very, very much!

The surgery went well once I'd gotten enough numb-it juice pumped into my face. It took a lot! I don't stand pain well at all. They say men are big sissies about pain and I'll freely admit I'm one of those men. he he he....
I won't go into any details, though it was pretty interesting. Might have been even more so if I'd opened my eyes, but the doc said not to and I trust he had my best interests at heart when he told me that. ;3 He glued the incision shut with super glue rather than stitching it, which is a first for me. Kind neat, I think.

So now the bugger is out and on it's way to the lab to find out if its benign or malignant, and I've got my paws crossed that the news will be good. I'm not sure how soon I'll find out but that's fine. I can wait. ;3

Thanks again for all your wonderful support! It feels so very good to know I have so many friends here that care enough to lend me their support and give me their wishes for a good outcome. You all rock like mad!!!

I don't usually talk about myself much here, but tomorrow I'm having a tumor removed from my nose and I'm a wee bit skittish about the whole thing. The MRI and the tumor's growth suggest that it is likely benign, but until the doctor gets at it and tests it, I won't know for sure. What's making me squeamish about it is that in order to get it done ASAP, I elected to have it removed in his office with just a local anesthetic. He was going to do it in a hospital under a general, but it would be a good month or more till we could arrange it and it is causing me a great deal of discomfort and stress.....so, since he could do it right away in his office, I asked him to do it this way instead and he agreed. It ought to be pretty interesting having my nose flayed while I watch. Aside from getting rid of this darn thing, I hope it leaves me with a nice scar to give me an even more piratical look, to go along with my eye patch. ;3 Anyhow, I'd appreciate any good vibes and good wishes you, my friends, can send my way for tomorrow. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out.
