Down the Shaft Templates Possibly Delayed
Posted 12 years agoFirst off, I want to thank all who participated in the YCH auctions! I'm so very thankful for your support <3 it's really awesome how well those went!

On that note the CVD is cuming along nicely~ I took off the previous week from work to really hammer out some pictures. So far things are looking pretty good :D there's lots of variety so I'm hoping you'll find lots to your liking!
That being said, if I only had one more week without having to worry about my actual job... I could hammer out the rest of the CVD lickety split.
Sadly that is not the case so my current estimates see me finishing the cvd near the later half of June, just before AC. Giving me just enough time to print the and copy the disks (no worries, I can get that done in a day! Advantages to working for a copy store! :D )
with one catch, I wont be able to finish the Down the Shaft Templates before AC.
It's not a big loss as I can still do it after AC and then upload the images and credits afterwords and update the download with the content (though I'll probably just make all those public anyhow)
But it is kind of a bummer, I had really hoped to get them done!
To think though, once upon a time I thought I could have a comic out with my cvd by now XD haha wow was I dreaming!
In anycase, it's not assured if I can or cannot get to the down the shaft templates by AC. If this is a problem for you, I understand, and I'm willing to refund the cost of the template commission (YCH auction winners don't get this option as the template was an additional bonus! Some of you got away paying cheaper than those who bought the cvd outright! X3 )
STill, looking back on this week... wow... I managed to, more or less, pump out a finished drawing from start to finish each day! Maybe one day I can treat furry porn like an actual job XD just wish it had more assured money that wasn't based on commission alone!

AC is fast approaching! The CVD is coming along nicely to and with luck I should have it done this month or mid june at the latest. I'll be taking a week off of work next week to work on it entirely for 9 days straight :3 (I usually have weekends off so it's saturday the 11th-Sunday the 19th )
Because of this I may get lonely and stream the entire time, that might help my drive to, having people there to motivate me :3
(plus you'll get a nice little sneak peek into the CVD images! :D )

Kickstarter Discussion: Polls
Posted 13 years agoA friend of mine got in a discussion with me about Kickstarter and the idea of fusing it with a poll.
So basically I have a lot of ideas for T-shirts, but obviously I can't get them all printed. So what if I started a kickstarter before any of the designs were finalized and allowed the donators to vote for like, the top 5 shirts?
There are many good and bad things that stem from this idea.
My very first thought was:
What of those who donate that don't get the shirt they really wanted? Will that scare some donators away because they feel their money might not go to something they want?
Some ideas to combat this issue was to offer rewards for higher bidding, like a certain amount may net you more votes or may even allow the immediate creation of one of those designs (not necessarily counting as the 5 that are to be chosen)
Some other reward ideas were for custom shirts: super high donations would net a custom made shirt of whatever the winner wanted. They even get the choice of whether or not the shirt gets sold or to keep it a one of only.
Stretch goals (beyond the initial amount requested) might include another 5 shirts to vote for.
What are your ideas? What are the pros, the cons? How can I address either? What are some ideas you have for high donation rewards? For stretch goals? How much would you pay for a furry related shirt? (probably a few, like my sushimon shirt -link in my artist bio- which are sorta incognito vore related) $10,$15, $20, $25 ? $29.99??

Update! Anthrocon-Dealer-Suit-ArtCD-Tshirt-BAMWOW

Gosh, this place is dusty, like no bodies been here in ages! *blasts the place clean with water gun* well, I plan to change that! I've got to be a lot more active now if I want to get my business off the ground!
Life has just been very busy, difficult, yadayada, focusing mainly on real life and my copy job. (which I got a promotion in yay!) But sadly, I don't plan to stay there for ever~ My plan A is to become a game designer or to contribute artwork for videogames. I want to move to washington state in about a year or two and go to Digipen! (My favorite game companies I'd love to work for: NaughtyDog, Ubisoft, and Nintendo Duh)
Plan B is one I'll shoot for no matter my situation in life and try to do, if not the main source of income, then as a side hobby- Furry Artist and Murchandise (haha see what I did there ;3 )
Plan C is working the rest of my life at the copy store... it's a good job with good people but... Ya let's just say Plan B WILL happen eventually so plan C is more of a safety net till then.
In anycase, that's my silly plans for life, next comes info on what you care about!

So, I have signed up for Anthrocon and have a Dealer's table! Oh boy :3
The company name is called "Rather Splashing" I'll have a sign and posters and things so I'll be hard to miss! Now, whether or not I get a powered table is in question because it seems the people on the anthrocon website haven't updated their site map and availability so... to put it short, there was one power table left when I bought it, and since they haven't updated the sight in some time... ya there could be many of us who bought that single table.
Power or not I'll be at an Anthrocon near you!
Not only that~ but I plan to suit as well ^.^ well... hope to. With finances all going towards the trip and murchandise... well I'm going to try my hardest to raise money for it XD
But that's where YOU come in my lovely fans and friends! I NEED YOUR MONEY OnO
Haha, just being blunt there :P
But I wont beat you up like some highschool bully for lunch money, nah, I'm going to give you stuff like art for it!
That being said, yes ART! Specifically ART CD
So soon... very soon, I'll be starting an OffBeater (kickstarter/fundraiser) for my Art CD project! The basic idea is, I'll have some basic sketches and a finished piece or two, I'll show you what you're all in for, about 15 fully rendered (colored, shaded, detailed etc) pieces, and the best part is~ Cock Vore :D yep, Making a CVCD! (what did you expect? :P )
Now with this fundraiser, there are benefits to donating far and beyond the smallest amounts! I have some more ideas but some basic rewards for high bidders are: Physical CD (rather than a digital Download), Physical Comic book, more pictures added beyond 15, Cameos or leading roles for donator's characters, discussions with me on what the CD will involve~
Also, this way, it assures me that people want to even buy into this thing before i go and waist alot of time for nothing XD So, expect in the near future alot more advertizing on this subject, cus I'm gonna spam it everywhere!
Other than CDs, I'll be making and selling T-shirts~

I've ran... like 4 iron artists essentially. My pokefriends years ago was like an iron artist and I ran two sets of that. Then I did an actual iron artist almost twice.
No wonder I'm Finding it hard to work on more art, I've burned myself out XD

Posted 13 years agoHey guys, so I've tried for the past hour and a half to fix every program that is involved with the streaming process. Seems my tablet driver, manycam, web browser, and my headset all decided to have their own unique problems. Welp I just need to fix manycam now so I can stream again.
The problem occurred when I decided to get the latest version. Basically when I start the program it... doesn't start. Looking at my window's task manager I noticed it doesn't appear as a running application but in the processes tab it's sitting there using up 15,000 kilo of memory.
Sometimes it crashes out when I try to start it, other times it just sits there. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarted multiple times. Even tried getting an older version again... but sadly it's the same problem now. (before I installed the new version I was able to open and use manycam... like RIGHT before... so the new install did something... I don't know what)
I tried looking for a free webcam software like manycam but can't find any...
Anyone got any advice on this matter? how to fix it or a different software? until then I'm not able to stream again :< and just when I was getting back into the flow of streaming *snicker*

But yes, for those of you going to Anthrocon I'll be giving away business cards
(printing them at my own job which is neat, hi to any of my co-workers who were curious and looked up my galleries XP hope you like what you see! )
These cards are different than your average pieces of paper. These pieces of paper promise gifts! They will have a special code on the back! all you have to do is keep my card until the end of the convention and then email me the code on the back and you'll be replied back with what you've won!

(printing them at my own job which is neat, hi to any of my co-workers who were curious and looked up my galleries XP hope you like what you see! )
These cards are different than your average pieces of paper. These pieces of paper promise gifts! They will have a special code on the back! all you have to do is keep my card until the end of the convention and then email me the code on the back and you'll be replied back with what you've won!

Anthrocon and things

do I have some plans for it though! :3
While selling t-shirts is out I plan to sell commissions as well as custom buttons at the artist alley (hopeing i get a table). I'll have premade buttons for cheaper as well.
I also plan to hopefully sell some of those door hangers i still got laying around!
I'll be uploading some examples of what I'll be doing in the near future!
'other than AC nothing else is really of note. Oh my birthday is on the 13th :P but that's not important!

Oh after AC I miiiight be open for commissions again. I'll also be working on what i owe
artie as well as on a digital art CD. A tone of new art, lots of them completed doodles from my gallery, some of them re-worked ideas, and alot of new things to! Mostly vore related of course.
on that note I'm going to be branching more now. While this account will still draw vore and things of that nature, I'll probably try more things as well.

Posted 13 years agoI had planned to sell T-shirts as well as Art CDs at this year's Anthro Con but... sadly I don't think that will be possible.
Firstly, getting a dealer's table requires a bit more than I thought. The cost isn't the issue, it's getting a Tax ID and registering. Add to that, the Dealer Tables are all sold out. So even if I got a Tax ID I'd be hoping SOME one would cancel out.
Even less of a chance is some one canceling who had a power outlet. Which, being a digital artists, I highly require an outlet.
So sadly I don't think the dealer's Den is an option for me this year.
I looked into the artist alley rules and sadly that also is a no go on a few fronts. First off they don't like people selling merchandise there and they limit what you can bring with you as well as space. Even if I just wanted to sit down and sell art commissions I couldn't really do that effectively! Cus guess what? Yup, no power.
You'd think they'd get with the times and not every artist is traditional based anymore?
To that end though I really should practice more traditional art and stop relying on the magic of undo and layer editing.
If I train myself intensely in the next month then maybe... maybe I'll try getting an artist table. I'm pretty good with charcoal and some what okay with colored pencil. I'm perfectly fine at inking it's... the sketch part that I'm REALLY messy with XP
So who knows... maybe artists alley. To that end, is there any "back up generator" or batteries for tablet pc's out there? XD
