Post Anthrocon Report
Posted 2 months agoThink I caught the Con Bug from Anthrocon, so this is a day late.
For all the new followers who found me either during or before Anthrocon started, Thank you for the follows. If you were at Anthrocon thanks for stopping by my table and following me. The support is much appreciated <3.
I had a good time at the convention, honestly most of my time is spent in the Alley, so I’ve no idea what transpires beyond those hollowed doors.
I came across some old faces while working the Alley; Tamarik, Stogie goat & his wife, Maxblackrabbit, Gnaw, PMoss, Niis, Mr AMP, Chalo, Gideon, & Chai. Always a delight to see some old faces yet again.
Though, this years’ AC seemed a bit less crowded as compared to last year. Couldn’t help notice a number of empty seats in the Artist’s Alley and even fewer con attendees. Not sure why, though it might have to do with their new policy about limiting the number of people going? From what I heard: the Fire Marshal did not like how so many ppl congested the halls and exits in the convention center. Which meant they would need fewer bodies or the Fire Marshal would’ve shut down the event. So maybe that’s one reason? *Idunno/shrug emote*
My sales were good, still got left over merch I can sell at future events. I didn’t do any take-home commissions this year. I still have left overs I need to finish first.
On the Patreon side.
I’ll be tallying up the votes today and see who won the Waifu Poll this month. As well as checking on those who get their single character commission info sent in.
Hopefully, once I see the doctor today, I’ll be a bit more energized and less sickly that I can work on getting some things done. Not today as I want to get healthier and feel more up to it.

The biggest update, I'm going to Anthrocon 2025 this weekend. I'll be in the Artist's Alley, the table seat should be N-31.
I'll be selling my merch at the table and working on owed traditional-media commissions while I'm there. My prices for traditional media commissions has gone up from last year, just F.Y.I.

I don't bite, very much.

Honestly, after FA went down for a couple days, I thought to wait on uploading things until the flood of art posts died down a bit. So finally I'm getting around to sharing some arts here.
I'm going too keep the post short for now. Just giving the bare details and avoid a wall of text.

RIP Dragoneer

I heard about the news last night from my discord friends. Suffice to say it was a huge shock when I heard that dragoneer" class="iconusername">![[b]Dragoneer](//a.furaffinity.net/20250908/[b]dragoneer.gif "[b]Dragoneer")
[b]Dragoneer passed away.
I never really knew him or meet the man in person, at least I don’t think I did. My memory is fickle at times with faces to names.
His passing hits everyone hard. His family, friends and especially the community. He helped give us furries a place online to share our art interests and socialize with other like-minded degenerates over the years.
I’m still learning the full details about his passing and I don’t want to play the “blame the system” here. Instead, I would say take time to offer condolences for his family and friends this week and honor the work he has done to provide furries a place like Furaffinity. The website has become his legacy for us and we should respect and honor that passion he put into making it for us all.

As much as I would LOVE to open up for new commissions for this month’s Krystal Appreciation Month. At the moment I am still bogged w/ take home commissions from conventions this year and the ones prior to the event of Atlanta.
So my work schedule is still in getting my inbox emptied and the outbox sent out as soon as possible.
For those of you still waiting on your commissions. Don’t worry I haven’t forgot you, I have the list of everyone who submitted a requests at the conventions and I am working through that list as best I can.

Currently work for the Patreon is slow and progressing. Currently a new Waifu of the month chart is being drafted and will be posted up for supporters to vote on who gets picked. This will be posted and shared online by the end of August, thus starting up my Patreon once more. New prices & rewards will be included with the return. Along with the continuation of the voted Waifu being selected for supporters to enjoy.

Commissions Progress

It's been about a month now, I should post up a status on things.
First off I'm finally getting over whatever it was I had that hit me last month. Doing better with health and I'm working my way down my Commissions lists atm. This list I will point out consists of digital commissions and the traditional take homes from Furry Weekend Atlanta.
I've also been sitting on a number of finished commissions yet to be uploaded. Mostly b/c I forgot <w<
So expect a flood of postings soon.
But yup, pretty much same old routine of busy busy busy.
I'm aiming to complete and return these drawings to folks before Anthrocon comes up in July. I'll be doing the artist's alley there once again selling my merch and taking on drawing commissions.
I do enjoy the work, this is how I make my living is through commissions.
Patreon is still in the works. getting sick set me back on things. But once the last convention for the year is through, I'll finally have a bit of breathing room to resume that. I hate putting it off for another month to launch, but experience has taught me to find a balance between patreon & commission work. So far the paid drawing method on my mind most of all.

Headed for Furry Weekend Atlanta this weekend

Come tomorrow morning, I take to the road and am bound for Furry Weekend Atlanta. I'll be selling new merch and taking commissions while I'm there.
Looking forward to seeing old friends there and meeting new folks.
Wish me luck as I enter the raffle for an Artist's Alley table throughout the convention weekend. *fingers crossed*
In other news, apparently my previous Avatar/Pfp/icon was flagged das violating FA rules? So it was removed awhile ago and had to change it to a previous one. Go figure? :/
I guess having scribbled boobs as part of the image set is deemed unacceptable?
*shrugs* Ah well.
I'll work on a new one after the convention.
COMMISSIONS

Speaking of Commissions.
Once FWA has come and things settle down. I start work on the digital commissions this month. I won't be able to stream live for awhile. We had to change our internet services this month, b/c back when our provider got hacked it all slowed down. We got someone to come in earlier this month to fix it. Problem is, they only fixed the wifi. My computer for doing all my art online uses a hardline and for some stupid reason, the tech guy didn't fix THAT too?
I swear either someone doesn't know what to do or they're lazy people who don't care anymore about service quality?
So YEAH....until we get someone out here AGAIN to fix our hardline internet, i wont be able to stream. I dunno how long that'll be?
as for now, I am off for bed. Gotta get up early to get on the road tomorrow. Wish me luck folks.

Commissions opening this Friday

Hope everyone survived the ritual eldritch summoning or the normes call it an "Eclipse".
This is going to be a short update.
Pushing through with taxes this week, while working remaining TFF commissions. Once the TFF drawings are finished, clients will be contacted for shipping details.
With the TFF drawings closing to finish, regular commissions will reopen this Friday. So be on the look out when the prompt goes out. If you have questions regarding a commission idea, feel free to ask.

TFF24 was fun

Well, it’s been about a week now since TFF 24 finished. I took some time this week to go on cool down after the convention and check my sales. Happily, my stickers & standees were a favorite. So glad seeing people who attend these events show interest in my work. Same goes for seeing repeat clients and online followers.
The convention was mentally exhausting. Prepping my supplies for the Artist’s Alley, finishing owed commissions and preparing for the convention overall.
I roomed with
drakerogers for the event, we both did the Artist’s Alley. Though, sadly, I was unable to get a table for Friday. So I spent that day visiting friends and indulging of buying merch. Fortunately, I got a table for the Alley on Saturday and Sunday so that made up Friday’s loss.
I ended up with take home commissions again, hard to get drawings finished while handling sales of physical merch.
But anyway, the event was all around a blast. Dinner with friends was a great and helped out another friend setup their table in the Dealer Den.
Now that TFF is done, I fear I may have caught the con bug. Though, it seems to be subsiding now, thankfully. I’ve been taking vitamins and meds when my throat got itchy. It’s not Covid thankfully, I don’t feel the symptoms and I’m now feeling better.
But, now that TFF is done, I just have to prepare for Furry Weekend Atlanta.
I’m shaking off the rust and will be drawing offline so I can focus on the take home commissions. Get them shipped out before FWA. So, it may be another week or two before I reopen for Digital commission again.
I’ll stream some more this month, though it’ll be mostly personal projects too break up monotony of work work work.

I hate saying this again and again. But Patreon is still on pause for the time being. I’m planning to resume the Patreon page this Mid April. By then, I’ll have some new art material and Tier levels.

Prepping for TFF2024

Finally, I am all caught up on commissions. Just in time too.
This week, I won't be doing any streaming, I will be attending Texas Furry Fiesta in the Artist's Alley. Selling more merch from Stickers, Prints, Standees & taking traditional commissions.
Sadly, I will not be doing any digital commissions at the convention neither will I do any options to upgrade from traditional to digital while there.
If you would like to get a digital commission from me, you'll have to wait when I open up after the convention.
After the convention is over, I'll be opening up commissions again and working towards restarting my Patreon.
If you'll be at TFF this year, be sure to come by my table. I'll be there all weekend sharing a spot next to drakerogers aka smokeybandit. Buy my merch, commission me, praise me, give me money...please :3

Still here and alive just busy and focused
Posted a year agoIt’s about time for an update on things.
Back in January, I landed a job working night shifts and restocking shelves, full time. Originally, I felt like I could handle the work. I’ve been keeping in shape, exercising, I’m 6ft tall so naturally I felt those perks would benefit me. However, as time went on, I found it increasingly difficult to do the job and do my art. I was facing a heavy dilemma: give up my art for a full-time job, thus losing all the progress I’ve made in the last 15 years or quit working overnight stocking and go back to my passion.
I chose the latter.
I’ve spent years working on art as a career that having only 2 days off from work after sleeping most the day and working nights accomplish nothing. I certainly would not be able to meet my goals I planned for 2024. The time spent working overnight required more energy and fucked up my sleep cycle. The hours I would’ve spent drawing be minimal at best. So I decided to quit and come back to what I love doing.
As for current Commissions
I’m down to the final big commissions, of which are sequential image sets.
My goal is to finish these before Texas Furry Fiesta in March. Speaking of furry conventions, you can find me in the Artist’s Alley selling merch: Standees, Prints & stickers. As well as accepting sketch & inked commissions while there.
Once TFF is over, I’ll be re-opening my regular commissions and re-opening Patreon.
As mentioned before, improvements are being worked on for content. As well as updates to the Subscription levels.
$1 Tip Jar (Just the Tip) will have access to random sketched images. These sketches will be very rough and consist of random gestures, designs and ideas for future projects.
There are no plans at present for changing Curious Tentacle & Frisky Tentacle.
Lewd Tentacle will increase from $15 to $20, benefits remain the same.
A new Sub Tier for $100 will offer a single character digital commission as well as to all the other benefits of the other Sub Tiers.

Temporary pause on Patreon
Posted a year agoWith my commissions nearing completion and the probability of a night job, my work schedule is most likely to undergo a change in how I work each month.
For this month & next, I’ll be putting a pause on my patreon.
Improvements are being made on the content I can deliver to my supporters. These improvements will update current Subscription (tier) levels, new promotional art and additional content for current & new Subs.

Merry Christmas 2023

Hard to believe the year's almost over and so much has happened since.
Still chipping away those commissions one at a time this month and I'm nearly there.
Additionally, I managed too get an interview for a job this week. So this means, if I get the position, I'll be changing my work schedule with how I do drawings. It's going too be a night shift position, so that means I'll be sleeping in. So there's some changes that'll take place.
I'll be posting up the latest finished commissions here shortly.
With Christmas just around the corner. Be sure to hug your loved ones, be thankful for all the love and the people in your life who made a difference for you. Be good to one another and remember to watch all the Christmas movie classics, like Die Hard and Home Alone.

Progress & Changes in December

As I mentioned in a previous posting: I’m applying for full time work, looking to get better medical insurance. My current does not cover a CPAP, which I really need right now. So what does this mean?
It means, I’ll have to rework my schedule between RL work and furry smut work. This includes how I'll work between Patreon & commissions.
Nothing set in stone yet, but I have considered possibly pausing this month’s Patreon Waifu of the Month (WotM). This is so I can get caught up on my outstanding commissions so they won't drag into next year.
I’m not sure yet how things will go if/when I get a job, full-time. Openings for commissions and future Patreon drawings will vary based on when I am available.
With these new developments, I’ve considered ways on improving how I run my Patreon site.
One new feature will be a special, limited availability, Tier level for subscribers. Once a month, this Tier Level Supporters will receive a single character drawing of their choice. The character can be OC or fan favorite.
This tier has NOT yet been implemented and is subject to change, it will go into effect in 2024. As will any other ideas that develop along the way.
So for this month, expect me to be more active on streaming via Picarto as I strive towards wrapping up the current remaining images. I do apologies for the delay this has caused in the work cycle between commissions, patreon obligations and general RL events.

First off, let me jump into the commissions. I've been working down my list and completed a number of takehomes from the conventions since the start of Oct. It's down to the final set, woo!
As well as beginning work on new commissions for this month's Halloween and follow up with regular commissions. So Between Oct. & Nov. I'll be closed on commissions until I can have everything finished in time for the Christmas holidays.
I'll include a listing of all the Commissions below and their status.
Personal
Back in September I did a sleep test with an at home kit and after waiting the results, was diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea. So, now I'm just waiting to hear back about what I can do about getting a CPAP device.
I admit, I'm also a bit slow when it comes too advertising myself. It takes some getting used to with getting myself OUT there. So one thing that i'll be working on is advertising my Patreon and my other means of selling merch (such as standees & Prints) outside of conventions.
General
With my Patreon, I'm still going with drawing a furry waifu crush every month. Including alternate outfits and expressions too add some flair. However, it's becoming as much of a struggle meeting the deadlines of getting them done. SO Come next year, I'll be working on a few different ideas. There will be voting for the new furry crushes every month. But I'm also going too include other ways of getting my supporters involved. Can't wait WHAT this will be, YET. Mostly, b/c it's still in it's planning stage.
Speaking of Patreon, this month features Ms Cotton (My OC) for the month of October. If you'd like to see what's in store for her, you'll have to become a Patron to see the results.
Additional plans include more merch too sell at conventions next year. As well as visiting new conventions beyond my big three: TFF, FWA & AC.

June Commissions listings & Status
Posted 2 years agoI’ve been seeing a lot of signs lately, about artists failing to deliver on commissions. Some have said theirs are years in waiting and gave up expecting an update.
So, with that in mind; I strive too make sure I don’t have any clients waiting for to long on their commissions. This year has been difficult with RL elements coming up, but thankfully I find myself a bit of breathing room now.
I’ll be resuming work on all owed commissions this month, sadly this means my current que is closed until further notice. Better to finish what I have on hand than piling on more work for myself and adding more stress and burn out.
Plus with Anthrocon coming in July, this is the opportune time too get as much accomplished before I attend the Artist’s Alley there and inevitably add more work onto myself.

After FWA
Posted 2 years agoSo taking a moment to talk about things after last week. Sorry for the silence these last 2 weeks, but once you see what I’ve been up I hope you’ll understand why I’ve been silent.
Last Monday was the week of Furry Weekend Atlanta. It was also the same time I got hit with a stomach bug. I feared it would keep me from going to the convention this year, which would suck b/c I could not lay it over into next year like last time. Last year was the last time I could put it off and if I missed it, I’d be out on a convention ticket plus all the other expenses I went through this year in preparation from hotel to convention supplies & merch.
Tuesday, I recovered and took it easy on my stomach. It was then I made the final packing and hit the road with my Mom to make the 12 hour drive to Atlanta. But FIRST, we made a detour to pickup drakerogers, spending the night in his home state before hitting the road in the morning.
Wednesday, we refueled and drakerogers showed us this great pastry place for breakfast and coffee. After that, we started our drive to FWA. Though we stopped in Mississippi for the night as the rain began to start pouring down.
Thrusday, we arrived at our respective hotels for FWA. I was surprised too find the alley was going to be in the Hilton, where I was staying. There was some miscommunication or sudden rescheduling with how the convention setup the areas for the Den & the Alley? But once again we all got our badges. I was sad too hear my buddy

Friday was insane. First day of the convention usually is. So many people wanted to get a table for Artist’s Alley. I was lucky enough to get a table, I was able too sell many of my new standees and take on new commissions. Though I filled up pretty quickly. I think the only grief I had was the fact they would not allow us to use the power strips, why the hotel wouldn’t let us use their power is beyond me. So it limited my drawing to getting things drawn traditional. I use a lightbox to trace sketches into clean inks on commissions. But yeah, the first day was a very draining and exhausting one. We saw so many attendees going by it was a flood of bodies. I tell you what, having my Mom tag along was a blessing. The hotel charges an arm & a leg for food. Food that’s also heavy and overly salted and starchy. Coming from surviving a stomach bug I was paranoid about what I would eat. Thankfully, my Mom was coming to Atlanta too visit a relative and research Genealogy. She was able too shop for sammich makings too help my stomach settle.
Saturday was a lot more chill. Got a chance too work on commissions and sell more standees, happily. Having invested in the Square card reader really helped out.
Met a lot of new people and even ran into familiar ones

At the end of the day, most of us went out to eat at this german bar/restaurant, which was amazing. It was a good time hanging out with everyone there.
Sunday was more relaxed, last day of the conventions usually are. Got too hang out with friends one more night before hitting the road on Monday morning.
On Monday Mom and me took Drake to the airport and pushed onwards for a full 12 hour drive back home. It was a fun trip but overall exhausting.
After that, I took a day off too fully recover and after that it’s been a slow unpacking of everything and getting work done. I still feel like I’m a bit groggy but I’m pushing forward, got a lot of deadlines to meet this month.

I'm about to upload drawings saved from last years TFF, it was the only convention I attended last year. Having cancelled FWA & AC for the sake of budget and work load. I forgot too post the work then, so I thought it's now or never.
Also uploading from THIS years TFF, along with the current finished commissions.
I'm working down my list today and into next week, along with the latest Patreon exclusive pinup set. The Patreon art will be uploaded and shared by the months end.
As May rolls closer, it will be the month of Jenny Appreciation month, the sexy space cat who second in command of the Righteous Indignation. So be ready your JAM ideas as I'll be taking part in that. As well as making exclusive art for her on my Patreon.
Come to think of it; May is also for 2 more events: MAY the 4th and MILFS of May. So there's some more ideas to play with XD.
