It's a USB device that automatically creates a colour-profile for your monitor, so you know your work will look the same on other properly configured monitors.

It's the cheapest of those listed and has open-source software so will likely develop more features as time goes on.

I have no personal experience using the device, but it sounds very useful if you want precision on a budget.

There don't seem any hard & fast rules laid down; it's just a challenge to the artist themselves after all.

Yeah, I do have some unfinished works I owe people, but it's inking & colouring that currently bog me down. And while I would feel bad not finishing them up first, doing something I find fairly easy (sketching) could well help build the momentum I need to finish the bits I find hard (inking well & colouring).

How does £5 per character sketch sound? Cheaper than I usually charge, but my aim is to go through them quickly. So I suppose there really should be a surcharge for complex characters. Right to refuse content, etc..

Would you pay £5 for a sketch from me? I usually charge £7. Am I undercharging myself there too?

I logged out of FA last week and found my password no longer worked. Very odd.
Also found the password reset wasn't sending to my email, and my email to the admin was bouncing.

Fortunately Yak did something to the reset system after I posted to the forums, which uses a different password, and it works again now so I've regained access to my account. With a longer and more secure password.

Now I have something else to distract me a bit while I carry on getting over this bloody sinus infection. D:

Almost all caught up with current orders. Running low on some casting supplies.

I've got plenty of mould-making supplies though, so I'm also pushing on on new moulds. That includes the final quality horn moulds, a new circular-profile horn, new claws with improved mounting, improved profiles on the paw-pads.. it goes on. Once the moulds are done, I'll cast up new demo items and get some good photos up (on the starborneworks account).

Still having a bit of trouble with the clear resin eye-blanks, but the situation is improving. The last demo item came out mostly clear, but with some defects that might have been caused by residue in the mould. I've cleaned it and I'm running another test batch.

The workshop as a whole is slowly being re-geared to a better layout so things get done better and faster. It's the priority, then I'll work on getting the webshop up.

Installed the FireMirror Firefox extension. It's a bit cludgey, but it's working. With all the random deletions been going on I figured better safe than sorry.

It's a bit of a cludge to do it in FireMirror because you need to be logged in to get a lot of these things. So to start with you need to do a zero-depth download of the login page and view it in FireMirror's own browser window. Log in and subsequent DLs at FA will also be logged in.
Good thing FA supports multiple sessions now!

You also NEED to make use of the address filtering and depth-1 only downloads, or you'll attempt to download the entire website.
Just enter the index pages as the starting point and enter these as the filters:

Notes are a little tricky since the sections are handled in javascript. You'll need to switch between inbox and outbox in the interal browser, or set http://www.furaffinity.net/controls/switchbox/outbox/ as the start point. After that, same page increments as before.

EDIT:
I should add, this presumes two things;
* That deleting your notes as a security precaution and emptying the "trash" actually removes the notes from the sites databases, and they are no longer accessible by admin accounts.
* That, as notes are stored by incremented reference numbers, someone hasn't already downloaded them to sift through later on (IE: set an incremental download running to start at note zero and work it's way up).
