Wish Dragons ( Original Species information )
Posted 9 years agoWish Dragons are an original species I designed a loooong time ago but have finally decided to go around and publish for the use of whoever wants. I don't even care if I'm given credit, but it'd be nice. Please don't make Adoptable Wish Dragons, I'm like really poor and that's something I plan on doing, and I'd rather not have competition trying to make some dollarydoos on my own babs lmao.
I'll probably update this eventually when I start rolling them out. I don't yet have any examples. but when I do, I'll add them.
Wish Dragons are a mythical subspecies of dragonkin with a Celestial Aspect, meaning they're out of this world, but don't qualify as deities. They are the physical embodiment of unfulfilled wishes, dreams that didn't come true, and hopes that never were. They are materialized through means of the reincarnation of fallen dragons, and such possess true Dragon Souls. Despite their sad creation, they are very cheerful, eager, and happy.
They have varied likes, ranging from natural wonders to technological marvels, with equally varied hobbies and mannerisms it depends entirely upon the Dragon itself but most of them approach the universe wide eyed and bushy tailed. It's extremely rare to find a mean Wish Dragon, even when hurt or betrayed, they give every fiber of their being into having a positive outlook.
Their bodies vary in size and shape too, it's not uncommon for them to resemble the dragon from which their soul originates in shape and context, however their unique features are what really identify them.
Boasting bright, colorful scales and pale bellies, these beautiful dragonkin posses crystalline bones, teeth, horns, claws and cartilage, often resembling gemstones such as Rubies, Sapphires, Diamonds, Topaz and ect. Perhaps the most unique and alluring feature of Wish Dragons is their cotton-candy like wool, often found growing from their hips, neck, shoulders and legs. Their wool differs in texture, volume and concentration, but because of such, hairstyles like afros and dreadlocks aren't unheard of. Some Wish Dragons may have spikey wool while others have soft puffy, cloud-like wool.
All of their internal organs are either purple or electric blue and sparkle like stars in the sky; what causes this phenomena in unknown. They oddly enough have red blood.
They aren't as physically powerful as other dragons, can conduct a wide range of magics, and live indefinitely. Often clutzy and stubborn, but have significant brainpower, however such is likely due to their long lives.

Info on Lumerians
Posted 10 years ago=================== Social Information-Often referenced as Vorpal Hares or Moon Rabbits. These nicknames aren't inherently incorrect and Lumerians accept them similar to how Native American Tribes have been known accept the names given to them by others.
-They call themselves "Lum'yuure" when speaking to their own or other Rabbit-Types and "Lumerians" when speaking to other creatures.
-Lum'yuure/Lumerian means "Person of Light" and their home forests, Lumeria, means "Place of light"
-They are based loosely on the legendary "Lemurian" people with references and bastardizations of various religions and cultures.
-Lumerians live indefinitely unless murdered or diseased; and age extremely slowly due to the fact that their kind have lived and evolved near a Tree of Life, and the waters of it have altered their DNA. They aggressively protect the tree and would end entire civilizations if the tree was suffering due to pollution or ect.
-Despite their dedication to Military, martial training, and vastly advanced technology, they are all relatively lax and only boast of their power for the sake of bragging or to end an argument between two people.
-Many Lumerians die in the womb, and birthrates are very low which they don't exactly mind as they fear that overpopulation would damage their lifestyle otherwise.
=================== Physiological Information-Lumerian Pregnancy can last anywhere from one-hundred years to two-hundred-and-fifty. The mother unit carries a fetus in her uterus for this time, as per normal for mamals, but upon reaching the fin stages of birth, the fetus will encase itself in a thin, durable shell. They are born like this, in what appears to be an egg. The egg acts as an amplification membrane which augments the offspring's consciousness and essentially feeds them information through what can only be explained as an extended out of body experience. when the egg hatches, the baby will be have a complex understanding of the world they are born into. They will know how to function, speak, and harness the powers of their mind which give them telekinetic abilities. Getting their bodies to catch up is a very difficult process unless bread specifically for physical ability. Some children never fully develop muscles, and instead rely solely upon the cybernetic augmentations that are commonplace among their people.
-Their bones, horns, cartilage and muscular tissue contain varying amounts of a naturally occurring carbon fiber known as Ikerium. This material is extremely durable, and extracted from the fallen to be used as Armoring and weaponry. The closest thing Lumerians have to a religion is the belief that it is a high honor that their body will be used to arm and protect a fresh generation. Though, it is because of this super-material that Lumerians are hunted. They don't go down easily at all, but the odd ones that fall prey to hunting parties are the sole source of Ikerium outside Lumerian hands. A single one-pound Ingot is worth enough to purchase a third-world country due to it's mystical godlike properties.
-All Lumerians posses a third eye lodged in their forehead, which is usually covered by the growth of their middle-horn. Some choose to remove the eye and horn entirely, rare few are born without it but gain superior martial prowess at the cost of severely limited mind-based abilities. Those that remove the horn to expose the eye gain a significant bonus to their brainpower but can suffer fatal headaches and hemorrhaging unless the eye is covered most of the time. Uncovering the eye in Lumeria is forbidden, and it's use is only prohibited under dire circumstance. Continued use can cause race-wide headache, and even kill weaker members of the species through stress on their telepathic network.
