What is up with that?
Posted 14 years agoThat being me not doing anything writing-wise.
Well, I am still writing but I am not satisfied with One-Shots anymore. Over the years I have
read hundreds, if not thousands of stories and there was always one thing I enjoyed the most:
Background!
Yes, that includes what I term "Stroke-Fiction". Even if the story is meant solely to satisfy
perverted Urges, it is always nice to know a little bit about what makes the Characters tick.
Wonderful examples are Jay Naylor, Jim Hardiman and Miu. Their Characters have some History,
goals, dislikes, loves etc etc..and that is what makes them seem, in lack of a better word, alive.
Long story short: I am trying to work up a Barebone World which I can add to over time, fleshing it
out through short stories and maybe even an ongoing Story-Series if Inspiration strikes.
The hard part of it is...I am trying to find an Idea that HASN'T been done to Death yet.
I want to keep away from too cheesy clichè's if at all possible. So the Alternative Dimension (Sliders),
Genetic Super-Soldiers (Moreau-Series) and Aliens (too many to count, OY!..okay, Alien Nation is a
good example) as the Source for Anthros are out. The naturally evolved Scenario has some credit even if it
is also quite clichè'd already...but might conflict with something else I definitely want to implement.
Anyway, this is a "Nope, not dead."-Journal, also, it puts the old one out of it's misery.

Important Stuff
Posted 17 years agoJust wanting to clear some stuff up. I rarely comment on pictures and I usually don't respond
to Shouts. The reason for the latter is, that those are almost always Thank You's for watching
and don't really require an answer. If I did, it would just clutter the artists User Pages.
The former is a tad more complicated. I am just one of those who hates to repeat what others
already said. If I come across a pic I like with practically no comments, I will leave a comment,
if there are dozens of comments which already say everything I can say about it, I don't leave
one. Some artists are annoyed if pple fave their work without commenting and I can
understand that in some way but it doesn't change the way I am. Just take a Fave like it is
supposed to: A compliment. An additional comment is a Bonus but not really a necessity.
Just believe me if I say this: I am VERY picky, I only fave pics that amaze me to no end. I am
watching many Artists but I have less than a dozen faves. Should be proof enough, right?
