Well howdy howdy ya'll! I'm way too quiet on here I feel like, but honestly I just like lurking on my social media haunts and hanging out in discord groups with friends so I don't feel much of a need to be too vocal here.
That being said, I think I should give y'all an update on some things regarding life, commissions, and some miscellaneous stuff. I'll break this up into a few small chunks but I'll start with art/comms for those who care about it, and post a TLDR of everything at the bottom.

Regarding Art: WELL I've learned relatively recently that I have ADHD (and have been seeking treatment for it) but it's certainly helped explain why I have such visceral problems with motivation regarding artwork/comms. If a commission idea doesn't interest me/stimulate me, getting it done is like pulling teeth, and for that reason I don't offer comm slots save for emergency situations where I'm in desperate need of the money and panic can motivate me, or if an idea REALLY gets me interested. I've been prescribed some meds that have helped WONDROUSLY in regards to motivation, but getting them consistently has proved difficult for a number of reasons. Should I get into having them more regularly available though, I'm hoping commissions, collabs, big projects, and YCHs can be more of a regular thing. Be on the lookout for a followup journal should this become more of a reality! That being said, I apologize for all the folks asking about comms that I turn down, only for me to post finished comm pieces. That's not the best optics on my part, and mainly just comes from me needing to do art for sake of emergency funds ;v;

Regarding Life: As I said above, oh boy ADHD! Learnt that I had it a bit late in life (would've made my middle and highschool and college experiences a LOT less painful I think if I got it treated sooner euGH,,,) but alas, I live with parents who aren't the most open to conversation about mental health as a concept. I'll be hopefully getting more of my medicine soon but I'm in a peculiar state of being about to be kicked off my parents medical insurance once my birthday hits in a few days, and oh man are meds PRICEY without it. Other then that, college! I'm done with it! Got my Masters back in May and oh boy is finding a job impossible! It's not for lack of trying- I've cast a million hooks and have yet to get a bite. Least it's given me time to work on some art stuffs when I can so wooo -v-

Miscellaneous Stuff: I say "stuff" like it's plural but I really only have one or two things to mention here. I have an OnlyFans now! I didn't know the guy personally, I heard many many maaaany mixed things about him, and overall I can't say I really had the best view of the guy especially regarding some of FA's most recent policy changes, but I appreciate what he did in making the biggest hub for furries on the internet, and for essentially building the groundwork for me to meet some of the most important people in my life. How he went out was tragic and avoidable, and I think the way the honoring fundraiser is going about providing support for his family is appropriate and positive.

Heya y'all! I've been getting quite a few notes here on FA and on Twitter regarding comms- primarily due to gag sequence and now plunger mask stuff popping off a bit.

For those who are wondering when I might open slots again, I made a journal about a year ago regarding why I don't/rarely open comm slots any more. This is mainly due to a lack of motivation to draw concepts that I'm not 1000% smitten with; more importantly, graduate school + work makes it so that I can only work on art infrequently. Additionally, art is only ever a hobby for me- something to make a happy buck on- and isn't my livelihood, so I don't have as extreme or necessary of an investment in it as many other artists on here :o

However, with my graduate studies finishing up by the beginning of May, I'll be MUCH more free to do art! Something I've been wanting to explore is YCHs regarding a whole slew of kinks, and maybe, just maybe, I'll open up some comm slots in the coming months and pick comms that are particularly interesting to me!

I need to finish up a backlog of art first, including the 50 bust gag sequence for Klo and a few other pieces here and there, but afterwards? Once I'm free, the idea of comms being open more proper will definitely be on the table once more!

Very random question, but do any of you dorks play Binding of Isaac Rebirth? I've recently 100%'d the game, and have taken an interest in now in making custom skins for characters in the game, and might even turn this into a form of commission for folks in the future! Hello y'all. I've been getting quite a few notes from curious folks inquiring about when and if I'll be opening up comms again and if I'll be making a journal announcing slots opening.

Just to temper everyone's expectations, I'm currently focused on life and school stuff first and foremost. I'm a grad student who's working heavily on research, and what free time I have I'm dedicating to multiple hobbies that include but aren't limited to art.

Furthermore, due to how my motivation works when it comes to art, I find it much easier to work on art with people I'm close to and know, and find myself more intrigued working on say, a gag sequence for a friend who I know shares a lot of kinky interests with me versus a total stranger who might have an idea that appeals to them a lot, but not entirely to me.
Look no further then my most recent art stuffs for proof: I cranked out three pieces in the span of two weeks- very quick for me- because it involved my own character and had themes I enjoyed.

So what does this mean for future comms? Well, at the moment, I've got a good bit of school work to bust out still, then I have to render a gag sequence for a close friend, and a fullbody fullcolor piece for another friend. After that, I have no more commissions to work on. So does this mean I'll immediately be opening up new slots after that? Not so fast. I'm quite intrigued in the idea of YCHs and I might be opening a few to test the waters.

If, however, I don't open up YCHs, then I have to determine whether or not I want to keep comms to a "friends only" kinda thing, or open them up to the public with the caveat of me having to be a fan of the idea to accept the commission. I don't wanna deflate anyone's wishes of getting a comm from me, but it's important to remember that this is a hobby that I make a happy buck from, it's not my primary source of income. I can be a bit more selective with the art I draw, and for the sake of my motivation and eagerness to produce art I'm happy with in a timely manner, I think I'm going to be selective going forward.

So let me finish up this semester of school, crank out these two pieces, and give me time to think on whether I'll be keeping comms friends only for a bit, or will open them to the public with the "it has to interest me" caveat. I know some of y'all are eager to comm me and I REALLY appreciate the interest, but I need to focus on my own enjoyment and academic success first and foremost so that my art doesn't suffer. ;v; I do hope y'all understand!

Oh and I might be attending Texas Furry Fiesta next year?? maybe?? I'll make a post if those plans come to fruition :0

Heya ya'll! I know I don't really make journals too often on here but I figured I'd give a tiny bit of an update.

Had my 24th birthday a few days ago and have gotten moved into a new apartment while I begin pursuing my Master's degree- hence the art silence for a few weeks now. I look to bust out art as quickly as I can once I get settled more into the swing of academics!

After my current batch of art though, I do plan on maybe taking very very small batches of comms as to not burn myself out, and only themes I particularly enjoy. Furthermore, I might try some heavy gagging/cloth/rubber based YCH stuff in the near future to be on the lookout for those. Otherwise though, it's just buisiness as usual for me ✨

Hey ya'll! I hope everyone's well and surviving despite the world's seemingly endless attempts to doom us all.

It sure has been a while since I've made a journal huh? Apologies for being a bit inactive on here and other sites- I've been terribly wrapped up in a mix of schoolwork and losing my life to video games, so art sort of has taken a back seat. That being said, I'm thinking I'm back in action now if my most recent posts are anything to go off of, and with those, I've discovered a new latex shining and shading method (mostly coming from studying the work of Rindeadsong ) that I'm positively in LOVE with and has made me enjoy working with latex in pieces soooo much more.

With a rekindled art drive, the question of comms comes into play. I know quite a few of ya'll are curious about commissions, and I'm just gonna say outright: commissions drain me. If this past little set of comms is anything to go off of, I've come to the conclusion that the stress of feeling like I NEED to be working on art because someone paid me just does more harm for my art drive then it does good, so I'm making the decision as of now to not do traditional comm slots for the foreseeable future, save for the odd one here and there for friends, and instead just focus on making the art I want to see.

Now don't fret, for I have a separate idea that I think could satisfy those of ya'll who wanna comm me: I'm planning on opening little "Idea Pit" journals where ya'll lovely folks toss me your comms ideas or just ideas in general ya got rattling about your heads with your characters, my characters, or anything in between and if I like your idea and want to draw it, I'll get in touch with you privately and we can discuss things further and whether I actually even want to charge you, or if the idea just appeals to me enough that I'll do it for free!

Might this be a little unfair as I'll only pick the ideas I really like? Perhaps, but I think it'll be the best way to keep me motivated and keep my art drive rolling. That, and I'll be swapping to a "half up front, half when finished" payment method or a "all when finished" method rather then an "all up front" method. Please do lemme know whatcha think!

Heya ya'll! With this quarter of school over and my latest commission done, I've done some thinking about the future of commissions.

My big problem has always been that I have a realllly hard time motivating myself to work on comms- ESPECIALLY if the subject matter doesn't supremely interest me -so after I take a big list of em, it'll take me moooonths to get through them all, even if the comms themselves aren't particularly work-heavy. Due to this, I've tried a handful of things, from taking only the simplest of simple comms (such as just busts) to taking only a couple of full comm slots at the most, and both have had mixed, yet still less then desirable results.

I've been unsatisfied with myself, and how quickly my turnaround for art is, and so have decided that from now on I'll be accepting commissions only in small batches, and only ideas that particularly grab my interest. Is this a bit exclusive and perhaps unfair? Maybe, but I'm not enjoying drawing art that just doesn't intrigue me, and it's making my turnaround much slower then I'd like it to be. So please, do noooot take it personally at ALL if I straight up don't take a comm of yours out of disinterest- it's not that I dislike you or even the idea(s) you're wanting to commission me to draw, it's simply that it doesn't grab my attention and I don't feel like I'd be able to draw said idea in a matter that's satisfactory to both you and I. I'm totally down for negotiating some stuff too if ya want to work on changing an idea to make it more intriguing to me, but as it stands, I think I just really need that drive of "I REALLY like this idea" to get work done or else it feels boring and a slog to get through.

I’m in the midst of finals week here at school (quarter system yahoo) so my last comm’s being incredibly slow, but once art’s done, I’d love to open up a YCH (or two) cause I’ve had a few ideas in mind, and I’d love to gauge interest in these ideas through this journal.

If you follow my AD Twitter, you might’ve caught the ideas as I was thinking them up, but essentially they’d be:

1. My Umbreon sona and Autumn standing in their usual latex + cloth getups, with slots to fill in positions on either side of us as official employees of Atlas Industries! Said employees would require mandatory latex and cloth getups, but the slot buyers could choose the specifics of the cloth and rubber, and if their character is masked/gagged/etc.

2. Slots showcasing 3-4 (or more) “stands” that strap someone down belly first with their head tilted up (similar to this minus the breast milkers obviously https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30342212/ ) and of course, they’re clad in rubber and cloth and with gags/masks/etc being optional to the buyer. These characters would be all getting subjected to intense hypnosis- intense enough to render them dazed, swirly eyed messes OR lustfully overwhelmed screaming messes -hypnosis that’s imprinting these future employees with an overwhelmingly maniacal obsession/kink for cloth and gags!~

I’d love to hear thoughts on both, and if anyone’s at alllll interested in either.

Heya folks! I figured it was update time due to how quiet I've been and how quiet I'm going to be.

I'm slowly chipping away at my final commission from eddyboy1805 which is a monstrous 30 bust gag sequence, but school's making progressing slow. Regardless, it's steadily getting done, and a third of the busts have been completed.

That being said, my favorite game series, Destiny, is getting a huge expansion on Tuesday, so I'll likely be the opposite of productive and somehow even more quiet on here. If any of you folks are at all interested in Destiny (or are planning on playing Shadowkeep once it launches) lemme know! I play on PS4 and PC and I'm suuuper looking forward to playing with more folks once the expansion goes live.

I ain't doing anything special for the day really- just gonna be working on arts and video gaming my ass off as usual, but I'll be spending it hanging with my bf and some friends so that'll make it special.

As for life stuff, a lot of problems that have been afflicting me lately (a $4000 scholarship being revoked, a hellish mess of a problem trying to get an apartment for school, and general anxiety) have all sorted themselves out perfectly and this next school year's shaping up to be productive in more ways then one!
