Posted 4 weeks agoFirst, I wanna say I appreciate everyone taking the time to view this journal post. Seems to be a rare occurrence nowadays. u.=.u
I was attacked on July 27th by a disgruntled coworker at my place of work. They wanted to (very badly) play on my cellphone. They couldn't take fifty no's for an answer, therefore they jumped on me and grabbed my face. Nothing severe aside from a scratch on my face and busted glasses. Sadly, despite having all the evidence being in MY favor, I was fired for it. Yippee!
I was able to get a second job within a reasonable about of time, however, a few months prior to the attack, I had overtime hours not get paid due to my manager "not approving it"- they claimed to have "forgotten". I had called HR and had them approve it, but it never got added to my paychecks following. Not even my final paycheck. Again, they claim to have "forgotten".
I've contacted the Department of Labor about the situation, but it could take MONTHS for them to investigate the situation and get me what I'm owed, which I'm doubtful will even happen given the current streak of people "forgetting".
SO - I'm open for commissions and/or donations, both of which would be much, much, *much* appreciated T-T

Just want to let everyone know I'm going to be taking a break - I don't know for how long - to help clear my headspace and approach my art in a different direction. It's really hard to believe I started doing SFM six years ago. Really doesn't feel that long at all.
When I first started doing SFM, I felt kinda nice being able to express myself seeing how I'm not capable doing 2D art anymore due to my continually worsening physical handicaps. Sure, granted, my first pieces were kinda crappy, but that's to be expected - I had no clue what I was doing, after all.
Over the years I've noticed the traffic on my content had slowly started to peter out even though I felt like my content was getting better. Im not entirely sure whether it was something I was doing, or if my content was getting "stale" - I couldn't figure it out. Back in January I attempted to get a SubscribeStar up and going, but three months later with no activity, I felt like I needed to take a new approach.
I know and am more than aware of the fact I don't "need to make content based on what others want", but that's what I want. When I first started my SFM "career" I was doing my own things just to try to get a handle on how it works. Now, I'm pretty well educated with the program, and I want to make content FOR OTHERS, not for MYSELF anymore.
I also understand I'm not a professional by any stretch - There are folks out there who've been doing SFM for longer than I have and have better knowledge of the ins and outs of SFM - But I still wanna do what I enjoy doing.
I'm not looking for pity by any means, Im just tryna lay my thoughts out in words. Maybe I'm overthinking this (most likely since I've been anxious as hell lately).
My notes are open and my DM's on Bluesky are open as well, you're more n welcome to shoot ideas/suggestions my direction if you so desire.

Posted 6 months agoI'm sure it's not been any secret that my content has started to slow down. I do apologize for this. Unfortunately it seems as though, despite my best efforts, my content just isn't "hitting the mark." Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do and I am more than appreciative for everyone's support with faves both here and on Bluesky, but after six years, I feel like I'm starting to fall out of touch.

About a month and a half ago I had a medical situation that required me to seek medical assistance ASAP. Not going to go into much detail here, but it goes without saying that shit is expensive.
I got screwed over with a four-figure bill and fees out the ass. I had to pull another loan to keep them from calling me every 20 minutes about it. Which, unfortunately leaves me in the red for expenses.
Despite my best efforts to "branch out" to try to sell some commissions, it seems as though I've fallen off... or something. I unno. Maybe I gotta follow trends better? Idk, I just make horny.
If you want a commission I'd be more than happy to make something for you. Thinking about cooking up a SubscribeStar for those who aren't interested in commissioning and just wanna generally support.

For the past... oh, four some-odd years, I have not been tagging my content. I have never seen the point of it due to never having used FA's search feature before. Instead, I've used e621 and have been redirected to FA from posts I was interested in.
I've been informed that this was a mistake. I guess FA's search feature is *actually* used? I've no clue.

Main point of this journal is to kinda admit to something I've realized. My content as of late hasn't been "my best" - Personal works of mine have been half assed and aren't my absolute 100% - I guess 5 years of creating will do that.
I've taken a bit of a break (as you can tell by my absolute lack of uploads) and I've had reality slap me in the face. I wanna make content for others, not for myself anymore.
With that being said, going forward, my commissions will be PWYW (Pay What You Want) - Just to help break this bad habit I've gotten myself into. $20, $10, $5, $0 - I don't mind - I just want to create and give my 100%- my 110% - when creating. So - If you want something, please don't be afraid to let me know.
And no, you do NOT need your own model! There's been mild chaos about this subject, but any readily available models can be used.
Anywho.

Quick recap on what's been going on - New life situation, money is tight, my comms are open. I wanted to post this journal to link to help clarify my services.
You are NOT required to "have a model" to hire me.
This seems to be the number one issue lately as most the folks who inquire with me assume they must own their own model. This is not true. I can work with ANY model that is made for SFM, basic or advanced. You don't need to directly OWN it (Please read below for more info). Most the models I obtain are from the SFM Workshop and SFM Labs. If you're curious if I have a model, ask and I'll let you know :D
Model Privacy/Rights of Usage
The models must be of "fair use" - I refuse to work with models that are private (for instance, an OC model that is not your own), stolen, torrented, Patreon exclusive*, and so on. If you OWN your model and wish for me to use it, I will use it ***EXCLUSIVELY*** for the services you order and nothing more.
*The "Patreon/Gumroad" can be worked around, I just need to know where it is so I can subscribe/purchase it.
What you're paying for
I get a lot of questions on how I charge my prices. I have a flat rate of $20 per character in an image. Reason being as character models take the most time to pose out of everything else that happens in an image. Usually I charge extra for advanced scene builds, advanced light rigs, texture upgrades/recolors, etc - But I'm letting that slide for now, due to current circumstances.
PAYMENT OPTIONS (Very important)
My only payment option is thru PayPal and only for domestic (USA) customers (certain conditions apply). Don't blame me for this - Blame PayPal for being an absolute dogshit payment platform.
The short and skinny of it is due to PayPal refusing to accept my tax information no matter what I do, therefore "goods and services" payments cannot be "claimed" on my account. This has gone on for YEARS to no avail. To help make this fair for you, I won't accept payment until you're 100% satisfied with the product I've created. This is to help make it fair as PayPal will only allow me to accept funds thru "Friends and Family" (hence the domestic USA restriction).
And finally, if you have *ANY* questions, feel free to note me. I'll give you my Discord info thru there. :D

Current situation: Everything is set up and ready to go. HOWEVER, with new rent, unexpected medical bills, utility bills, so on and so forth, I'm left with a whopping...
$40 a month! Yeah, and that's *not* counting groceries. Yeah - I think it goes without saying that $40 a month for groceries in THIS economy isn't gonna work. (No, I don't need budgeting advice, thanks.)
With that being said - Comms are OPEN! Shoot me a note and we can go from there. Willing to negotiate and all that jazz. :3

Moved and Settled! (Housing situation update)

Just wanted to inform those who had supported me previously as to what's been going on.
Thankfully after much stress, pain, suffering, blood, sweat and tears, I managed to get a rental that's not half bad. Everyone's support really helped me out, and I'm greatly appreciative.
However, as some may have noticed - I still haven't been uploading. Unfortunately the home I moved into is pretty old and does not have what it needs for me to get internet. Been working off of mobile data which is stupid expensive, so I've been using it sparingly. No ETA as to when one of these internet providers are willing to get off their fat asses and actually be of use...
Again - thanks to everyone for your support. I'll make it up somehow. Some way. <3
P.S. - If a property rental company only has 2.3/5 stars on Google Maps? Yeah. Dont bother with em.

Earlier this month, I had announced I was being evicted from our home due to our lease expiring, and had opened a GoFundMe and Commissions to help fund my move to an apartment or some form of housing.
I've only got seven days left.
Loan agencies and related companies keep denying me due to the amount I'm looking for either "being too low" or some other BS reason - par for the course of modern times I guess. I've sold everything I can live without, but I'm still a bit short.

!! We're Being Evicted - Support Needed !!

Some of you may have noticed I haven't uploaded last week as per my usual schedule - Which I apologize for, however I've had a really shitty situation come up that's made everything come to a screeching halt.
Long story short, our rental agreement had expired late last month, our property manager informing us the agreement isn't going to be renewed as the house is going to be sold instead, with us having first dibs. After a month of back and forth, negotiations upended after they said they're fully expecting us to cover the costs of the property damage that existed before we moved in, which we are not going to do. (They're expecting $80k for the house that needs $35k+ in repairs, which the property owners are not willing to spend.)
We have 30 days to vacate starting tomorrow.
My two roommates have plans of their own, and I have plans of my own as well, however, I am nowhere near able to afford the move currently.
My notes are open to discuss commissions - I may host a gofundme as well, which I will link soon enough - I don't know what else to do. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all! Sorry for the frantic title, but I'm in a somewhat desperate situation.
Earlier today I was notified of a transaction involving a large sum of my money being used to make a purchase on the literal opposite side of the country. To make matters worse, it was a P2P transaction so there's no way to "cancel" it, per se. Bank is already aware of the situation and all necessary actions have been taken, but it's going to take some time for them to get the money back.
Therefore, I'm opening comms so I can help cushion the blow. $20 single character image / +$20 for each additional character. Willing to negotiate.
Model availability depends on what's publicly available - Or whatever you see in my gallery/scraps.

I've recently been getting into PAYDAY 3 (during the times it's actually online and working...) and noticed that folks have been getting into modding models usually meant for Unity3D/VRChat into the game. I would like to get one of my own models ported into the game but I have no clue where to even start.
Therefore, I'm willing to hire anyone wanting to help port/covert models capable for game use. If you're interested, please let me know.

So! To those who may not know, I've been unemployed for about 2 months, going on 3 now, having left my job due to the abuse and toxic environment. Haven't had any luck landing a new job thus far and I'm starting to run out of funds to pay for rent, and I don't have any other real options for income currently, so...
My commissions will be reopening. Likely. I've no clue what to price them at or what, but, I'm running out of options here.

Posted 3 years agoI've realized I've only made 2 images this past couple of weeks... Not usual! Sorry about that, folks, but I'll be honest - I'm kinda out of ideas.
Idk what's "new" or "trending" nowadays or what sort've content I should create here on out - I've usually stuck with the sub-pinup sort've images for the past three years - Yes, three years. March 14th 2019 was when I first started this whole SFM thing - And I still suck at it! lol
If anyone's got any ideas as to what I should do, including characters, poses, themes, etc etc... I'd be more than happy to try them out. And hey, I might even let you keep it! :D
