As some of you may be aware, my boyfriend  biscuitavenger passed away very suddenly two nights ago, following blood clot complications after knee surgery. He was just 32. I am in total shock, feeling utterly empty, scarred and lost. Healing will be slow. I don't know what to do going forward or how exactly to cope. I wasn't always vocal about it, but I loved him to the moon and back. I'm sure he knew. He will be missed intensely. Goodbye, my moo. I love you.

After about 6 years, 8 for my parents, I'm moving out of my current condo in Chicago, to a house further north in the city (the Edgewater Glen neighborhood). Unfortunately, I'm moving there WITH my parents, but hopefully the day I have my own place is not far over the horizon. Wish me luck!

Getting ready to go to Connecticut for Furpocalypse this weekend! Who will I see there??

I know this is somewhat last minute but...
I recently finalized plans to visit relatives in Connecticut, so I will not be far from the convention! I know the hotel sold out very quickly, but if anyone staying there needs a roommate or has room space, let me know!

So, rye whiskey and Sprecher's Cherry Soda is amazing. Found that out last AC, and have been experimenting with several whiskeys since then. Regular cola plus grenadine and whiskey is also good. Halp, I'm turning into a whiskey nerd!

Anyone have room for me at MFF? Preferably someone I know, but not absolutely required. I'll have my fursuit and some other gear with me, but shouldn't take up too much space. Anyone?
