My experience with Make a Wish, and being able to grant this very special girl her wish, has been the most incredible and rewarding time of my life. From start to finish, I worked with the most wonderful and kind group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The Green family is truly wonderful, and the Make a Wish team..there is truly no words to describe how wonderful all of you are.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for my involvement..thank you for allowing me to bring happiness to Te’ah and her family, as well as those she will continue to bring smiles to while wearing Key Lime.
I will forever look back on this time in my life with nothing but smiles, love, and happiness.

I'm Moving Away

This is a hard one for me.
For those of you that have been following me for a while know that a year ago, my man, the love of my life that I was engaged to, and had been with for nearly 13 years, left me for my now ex best friend. I had been fighting with crippling depression within that time. There were days where I couldnt even pick myself off the floor, and days where I felt completely hopeless. I've never in my life felt so useless/ugly/hopeless as this past year. It cut into my work, social life, and I even went as far as cutting contact with my loved ones for a while. Nothing made me happy. Nothing could fix the way I felt. I felt so lost and alone.
He recently came back to me, I was happy for two months, and then he cheated on me. I should have known better, but I wanted to believe that the kind and beautiful man I fell in love with was really back and here to stay. Love is blind, as they say.
I cant take anymore,I have to get out of here.
I found out today that I will be leaving within the next 10 days. The move is sudden..but it has to happen. I cant endure anymore pain from this place, and I dont want to watch what was once the dearest part of my life destroy himself. I love him. I always will despite what he's put me through.
This is the hardest decision I've had to make in my life thus far. I've spent my entire adult life here, and I've spent it all with my best friend by my side. Now I leave alone.
I believe I'm making the right decision...the best ones in life are never easy. I have big plans, and I look forward to setting them in motion.
I want you all to know that I appreciate the love and support you have given me. A lot of my strength to get through the day came from this community. You guys are great.
I will keep you all up to date when I get to my destination.
I wont disclose where I will be moving to, but it will be a big move for me.

Another life update
Posted 8 years agoI am currently packing up my apartment and will be moving into my new place by the weeks end.
I want to thank everyone so much for your patience and understanding through this difficult time. I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions..I'm just heartbroken.
Work will resume when I'm settled into my new place. Thanks again to everyone for being so wonderful, and for all of your love and support.

A life update..
Posted 8 years agoI want to apologize for my absence, and silence for the past couple of weeks.
My life has been turned upside down, and I have been doing my best to take care of myself.

My phone and money was stolen last night

Someone stole my phone, $200 in cash, and my debit cards last night. I sat it down for a moment, and when I went to grab it, it was gone. I've gone to the police and canceled both cards.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pay for a new phone, and make up for the money I had lost.
I will be putting a fursuit head up for sale tomorrow to help raise money.
I was finally getting back on my feet, only to get knocked down again. Thankfully, though, everything can be replaced.

Posted 9 years agoI have one small load to take from the old place, but we're otherwise all moved into our new home. I love it here. It's funny, but I now realize just how unhappy I was living in that huge house. It was overwhelming, and I felt disconnected from my loved ones (due to the size of the house, my fiance and I were always in separate rooms and never spent much time together). That house honestly drained me. I *HATED* living there, and I'm thrilled to be living in a smaller home!
I've been working on getting caught up with fursuits so that I can open up a few more slots. I have a couple of full suits coming up next in my queue, so look out for those soon!

The theme to Anthrocon this year couldnt have been more perfect. I was able to dress in my 20's as well as my 40's outfits and really rock the pin up! There was even a point where someone was playing the Charleston in the hallway, I of course stopped to dance to it for a moment! #CLASSICFANGIRL
Getting back into the groove of life. It's difficult, but as always, it'll get easier.

Moving *commissioners please read*
Posted 9 years agoWe ran into some trouble. I dont want to get into details, but we have to move. We will be doing this sometime next month.
The place we will be moving to will be smaller, which means that I will not have as much room in my work area as I do currently. I will not be able to take on as many commissions as I have in the past. For those of you who are currently on my commission list, you're obviously okay.
For the next year or so, I will only be taking on a few suits (2-3) at a time until we find a larger house.
I have started packing and will continue when I return from AC. This will slow down my work progress, but I will be doing my absolute best to juggle both. However, there will come a point where I will have to stop for a couple of days to move my things. I will continue work as soon as we are all moved in.
For those of you with a deadline, you will be my top priority and I will be sure that the date is met.
Thank you for reading and understanding, and I apologize for any inconveniences.

Delay on fursuit work this week

I wanted to let everyone know that I will have little to no time to work on fursuits this week. I am having family visiting this week, and then more family the weekend after next. I have a lot of cleaning and preparing to do!
If it find the time, I will be finishing up some foam bases as well as costumes that are close to complete.

CINTIQ HELP
Posted 9 years agoAfter a long struggle hooking up my cintiq to my IMac, I finally have the screen showing on my tablet. For some reason, though, the screen has a blue tint to it. I've gone into the image options on the cintiq and tried changing the color temperature (6500K), that didnt work. I've made sure everything was connected properly, now I"m just at a standstill. Does anyone know what may be the issue?

Posted 9 years agoI have been working non stop on fursuit commissions and responding to quote forms. All are still welcome to fill one out, but be aware that my current queue is filled. I will, however, be opening more slots within the next few weeks. I am offering those who are interested in a commission to be placed on a waiting list. Leaving for the Holidays

I will be leaving to spend time with my family until the 28th (Monday). I will not have much access to the internet, so any messages, shouts, notes, emails,etc., that I receive will be answered when I return home.

We will be heading north to prepare for the viewing as well as the funeral. I expect to be home Sunday night/Monday morning.

Posted 10 years agoWe received a phone call from a close friend of ours to inform us that our friend, Kevin, had been involved in a head on collision that killed him instantly. I'm am in shock..I just cant believe he's gone..
