Felt disconnected for a while from the fandom

Partly because it just doesn't seem as friendly as it used to be.

The idea of talking to people is farfetched for me anyway, particularly when, even though I've rarely spoken to someone before, there's an ever present feeling that I'm just... in the way

It's been over half a year since I made a journal, and coming up to 4 years since I joined FA but it's like... yesterday

Met lots of nice people and a couple moody ones, but all in all been quite fun

Even if I'm not that talkative I'm pretty much always somewhere around, just too shy to strike conversation, despite actually wanting to.

Ah well, maybe soon I'll get another drawing, who knows. I feel like i should get at least one this year

Anyway, im definitely not dead, just... quiet, and possibly a zombie, I don't quite know yet

Not in the sense that any of the battles are hard, but gosh trying to catch all the Shadow Pokemon in the last 6 battles one after another with no saving is doing no good for my stress levels

This is back when they could kill themselves with recoil damage, unlike in Gale of Darkness; that games a lot more forgiving.

Wouldn't you believe, I got the first 5 after like 4 attempts .. then I make the foolish decision to confuse Tyranitar... the last hurdle. I had tremendously bad luck. An X attack from the boss and a critical later it killed itself...

Little did I know I can just go for a second attempt whenever I want.

It -would have- been nice to get every one on a single run through, but the dreams gone unfortunately. I'm not going for that again in a -long- time. Way too tense and demanding

For the actual standard of work that they do I don't think nearly enough people see it.

Some of you might think I'm only saying this because they did a commission for me, but that's not why. OK maybe it does contribute but not as much as you think. I just want to do something kind. Okay

Either way, they're amazing at what they do and if you like art, which you evidently do, I mean come on of course you do; they're worth your time definitely.

I just think they deserve a little more. That's all.

It was so calm. I took a train journey, it's hazy but i remember what happened after it.

I was in an enclosure. I don't remember exactly what I was, but there was something else there. It was domesticated, a cross breed of sorts. The body type of a Rathian, but the plumage of a Phoenix, about 12 feet long.

I was helping it learn to fly, there was a cavernous area where we would practice, rife with rocky peaks and thick forest, all within the safety of this enclosure.

Night came, and we fell asleep together, up high on a balcony. I felt so at home, despite being so far away from my proper home.
I learnt in the morning that this... bird, was being looked after by a pair of elderly people. Assumedly they'd found her as a juvenile and it hadn't been so long, since she wasn't ready for being released yet, not in my eyes anyway.

I awoke amidst the comfort of the large bird, and soon the elderly couple found me alongside the creature. They didn't know how I got there buy they left me, rather than taking me away from her. In fact I think they were happy that she had someone else to be with, rather than being alone every night.

What happened after that I don't remember, but it was the least disturbed night of sleep I've had in weeks

I almost forgot how to even make a journal

I need to learn how to socialise.. again.
