So I'm a VERY happy Yena.

I took the ferrets out to play.

To my surprise the most quiet one, Rath, the one we were worried about did the happy bouncy war dance of Ferretness xD

He has fallen in looove with two things, Crinkly things (we may get him a Crinkle Cave and pushing Apples around. He tries to take them up the stairs by the stem it's soo funny.

He also doesn't flinch when I pet him anymore and has started Dooking, YES Dooking <3 x3

He's gotten to the point that if I bring him up to my face and I say "Lick Lick Please" He'll lick the bridge of my nose or my mouth lol He's such a sweetie. Though if you don't say PLEASE he WON'T do it x3

He's such a stubborn little guy.


Nightshade has been bouncing and playing and just being a sweetie. She got tangled in our new curtains, so sweet ^^

Ara needs a little more stimulation but she's coming out of her shell.

Any idea as to crinkly toys for animals? Or good suggestions for them?

Finally I'm very happy with Rath, my male ferret.

He's such a wonderful animal.

We've been working with him.

He used to flinch, scream and even attack us if we pet him, due to abuse. He would be so scared he'd piss on the floor if you approached him.

He is currently on my chest, sleeping as I type this.

He no longer flinches and uses the bathroom where he's supposed to.

He hasn't gotten to the point in which he bounces and plays but he's getting there.

He's also gotten to the point now where he'll do like the other ferrets. Our other ferrets lick our faces lol when we put them close. I've heard it's cause they like you o.o;

Well Rath never did so but the other two did. He came up to me the other day and just started licking my nose, doing these little chittering noises.

Also I don't think my vet knows what she's talking about.

She was all 'I think he's a polecat' But eh. He may be a little bigger than some males but I don't htink that neccesarrily means he's a polecat. -rolls eyes- (It'd be cool if he was o.o _

I am a very happy owner right now.

I mean we just sat out there in the porch listening to the rain and he relaxed with me.

Also the baby and Ara are fine. Baby has been less playful but that's just cause Ara wont' play with her and I have been sick so I didn't wanna get close to her. They're all going into their playroom today though ^_^

P.S. Some of you have asked if Yuchi will ever change again. Like People shouting 'YOU SHOULD BE...' So and so, you know?

The character change was actually VERY hard for me to handle at first. But then as she grew more and more liked I warmed up to the idea.

I like that you guys are curious as to what forms you'd want to see her as but Hyena she will stay. If I draw her as anything else it's just for fun.

P.S. I saw growing up Hyena today ;V; So sad. I like cried in some parts. But it was too cute to stop watching as well.

The Name -
I used to be a huge Anime fan in my Freshman year, so I associated with that group. Because of my personality my friends would give me nicknames of diffrent anime characters so I never went by one name... till a new comer came.

My most Common name was Ryuichi, who was a guy from Gravitation, very hyper and just shared my personality. I had slowly been loosing my interest in being OBSESSED with Anime and just took it as a nickname.

The new girl. Her name was Anatzu, I don't remember her real name... D: She could not Pronounce Ryuichi nor could she pronounce alot of Japanese names at all.

So she shortened it to Yuchi.

This caught on like an epidemic around the school that most kids and even some teachers would refer to me as Yuchi.

This lasted even up to my graduation. I took on the alias online, only to find out that Yuchi is actually the name of an indian tribe. I am part indian but not the Yuchi indian, but I still found it very interesting XDD

As for the Angel part, this is NOT because I trhink I'm an angel, lol, faar from it.

X3 My fiancee's last name is Angel. I didn't take on the name till He proposed to me ^^ Alot of people find it hard to believe that that's his last name ;33 but it is xD It's awesome lol.


The Fursona -

The fursona started off in Highschool, as a red fox, then a white fox. My one furry friend was a fur and slowly tried to convert me. She used to call me her little foxy.

I was a plain white fox at first, but rather Microish x3 she was the size of a small kitten in feral form.

Then in my Junior Year she became a fox tiger, with just the stripes on her face. This was not because the animals fit me, it was just because I didn't really know who I was yet, you know? It was because they were my favorite animals OTHER than Hyenas at the time.

I entered the fandom with it.

Upon moving up with my Fiancee from Florida to Kentucky.
He took me out exploring, he took me places and just made me think about who I really was.

My love for Hyenas started at Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida.

I was upset because all the other animals were too far out for me to see. I had wanted to see at least a lion or the tigers before going on Sheikra, because animals calm my nerves. I was having a bad day over all.

My fiancee offered the Hyena exhibit to see if they were there.

Alas they weren't. I for some reason became even more upset. I love seeing the animals and I had Never seen the Hyenas up close.

I sat with my back to the glass against it, when my boy started laughing, he told me to turn around and there was a beautiful male Hyena, spotted, the others had emerged from the dens but not come up to the glass.

He had his nose against the glass and followed my hand. He was such a beautiful creature. I was captivated. Then this took the cake. He lay down and put his great big paws against the glass just kinda twitching his ear.

I'll never know if they came out just because or because they wanted to make me feel better, I'm one who believes everything happens for a reason. lol

I did tons of reaserach, looked at a bunch of Hyena videos and even got a Hyena on my deamon pages lol. I felt like it just fit me. I found myself, and I'm actually quite happy with the change.

I didn't know how to change my fursona because I loved her stripes and her markings.
My friend Rasasha made a beautiful ref sheet of my character as a spotted/striped Hyena Hybrid, like she was. I went on to add more markings and made her to my liking.

Then I brought her out to the fandom and she got very popular.

I decided to keep her.

I couldn't be happier lol

I just lay in my bed last night, going over alot of stuff in my mind.
I've been tossing idea back and forth and trying to secretly plan a wedding... yes... a wedding o_o
My mate was at work and had actually TOLD HIS MOM that after he finds a better job than the guard thing he wants to marry me o////o . (like I knew he wanted to already but didn't know when)
This sent me into a long train of thought. I'm very excited to know this but I want everything to go right when it does happen.

Life is such a beautiful thing and you really need to live it to the fullest. I feel that marrying him will be the most wonderful thing that could happen to me.

There is true love out there for you who doubt it. Sometimes long distance works... very well... sometimes some people are not strong enough.

He and I currently live in the same state. I came all the way from Florida to be with him... I couldn't be happier guys. I feel blessed.

Don't be afraid of long distance, but there are times that closer is better, it all depends on the person. But the times that you all spend together... treasure them.

I cannot believe that time is passing so fast. Already this August will be our two year.

It doesn't seem like that long...

First of all let's get the personal junk out of the way first.

I realize lately I've been giving people advice and trying to make your life better.
I just want to try to better the community even if just a little. Give strength to my friends and others when they're in need.

I got a call from my dad who read my FA journals and bitched me out. He says I'm wasting my time and that I never had a meaning in this fandom or in life. Then proceeded to call me every name in the book, he always does this...

I was rather upset and very jumpy for a few hours so I slept on it.

Honestly I think I know what my meaning is. I may just be one fur. I may just be one person but if I can help SOMEONE... ANYONE...even if it's just by making them smile I feel accomplished.

I want to better your life. I want to better anyone's who needs it, even if just for a day.
I want to help people, I want to help furs, I want to help animals, children, the elderly, the homeless...
I know I cannot do this all at once, I also know that not everyone will take the time to listen, though I wish they would... I'm not saying I'm always right. I'm not. I'm just saying that by expressing my opinions... I hope to make your life or your day a little better.

and I were talking about some things last night and I just wanna bring this up:

Just because Someone is a fellow furry don't trust them with your life right away.
A furry is just the same as a stranger on the streets and I'm tired of furs Bawing because they wanna meet me after our first convo and I say no.
They're still strangers to me.
Just be careful...
Get to know these people first, try to read them. It took me about 6 months to get to know ahote before letting him come over nad I could not ask for a better friend.
I don't want you all to learn the hard way like a fellow friend of mine did.

I'm not saying all furries are bad guys! I'm sure they aren't.. but they're still people and you need to be careful.

Also...Here's my opinion on the fandom.

The way I see it, if or if you don’t consider yourself a furry is a matter of personal opinion, I consider myself a fur but like to stay quiet abuot it. I wish sometimes I didn't and that I could be proud of our community... /:
Don't get me wrong, there are alot of Decent furs...

Also let me state.

There are places where you can be a fur
And there are places where you need to think of others.
And once more... Please don't talk about perverse things in a family setting(i.e. resteraunt) and please consider the OTHER person's feelings about the other topic.

All I really have to say... is this:

Life is worth it, it's hard sometimes but realize you have alot of people who care about you, whether you're into whatever you're into or not. There are people who accept you.
Push forward and never waste a moment.

Never loose hope because life is truly beautiful.

Don't let dicks (yes even the ones in our fandom) get you down with their concept nad their stupidity.

Appreciate what you're given because it can end so quickly.

Live to the fullest.

Make friends, Make art, Make someone smile, live for yourself as well. Don't base your life around making others happy cause then you won't be happy.

There's nothing wrong with making people happy, just get some time to yourselves.

Also, Relationships aren't everything. Please don't be desperate and let life take it's course. Because rushing things only makes matters worse, you need to think rationally.

Be free guys. Be yourselves and never let anyone put you down.

I lived 18 years with my parents and a good majority of my friends putting me down, I took it to heart and feel like I've wasted my life just not letting myself be out there.

I get to be myself now, because I've started to not care what people say, that doesn't mean I'm rude to them because they dissagree with me, I just kindly remind them that I'll respect them if they do me.

Therefore I try to treat people with kindness as much as I can because even an act of kindness from someone they hate could make them feel better.

I know I'm rambling but I've done soo much thinking I just want to pass it on to you all.

I guess what brought this up is I work at a nursing home guys. So many people have lost all faith.. it's heartbreaking. I needed to get this message out...

Life will have it's ups and downs, I'm not saying it won't. But never give up.

My friends, the community, my watchers, my family and my boy... they have all come together and helped me finally be myself.

I thank you guys.
