Hi there, I'm Anhedral! Although I'm proudly Canadian, I was actually raised in deepest, darkest Surrey (UK). Earning a living in Scotland since 1990 - yeah, I'm a confirmed greymuzzle. I worked in zoology and conservation for many years, but these days I'm a music teacher, biology tutor, and writer. I'm *loving* it.

I write short stories, mostly furry, and often themed around my interests in music, flight and ecology. A chunk of my work is set in the roughly-present-day world of Spontaneous Adolescent Lycanthropy (SAL), dealing with what happens when 5% of teenage human children start turning into werewolves.

It was also the year when one in every thousand human kids had their transformation somehow take a botched and twisted turn, becoming something neither human nor werewolf, but less than both.
