Emergency Vet Bill

At 3:00 AM, one of my 8 month old kittens, Wisp, had his tail caught in the hinge side of the bathroom door and degloved the flesh off the tip of his tail. His tail tip had to be amputated.
Poor guy is very frustrated trying to adjust to wearing a cone and having to leave his tail alone. We are watching him closely and helping him with eating, drinking and bathrooming as he tries to figure out how to navigate with this new obstacle.
