Unoriginal title, I know. But I wanted something that would garner attention.

I'm extremely interested in culinary lately. Food is very exciting for me. I don't believe food serves as just nourishment, but as entertainment and as an art form. Because I live at university, I'm usually unable to cook for myself, but I often take some real delight whenever I have the chance to head to a restaurant for a nice meal. It's literally my favorite thing to do and I would do it for all three meals a day if I could.

I love to study food, find out what makes something taste a certain way, what kind of wine it should go with, what does it go well with? I'm really itching to get back home and just have access to some ingredients again. It's such a rush to be able to prepare something delicious with your own hands.

That said, does anyone else have some recipes they'd like to share, or cooking and eating experiences they feel are noteworthy? It can be a time you went to a swanky restaurant and had an awesome steak or the time you learned how to make your own tomato sauce. Anything, so long as it's food related.
