I'm a furry recently 'out of the kennel', as it were ;)

Roleplayer, would-be career novelist, English graduate and dabbling artist. Interests include rats (I live with five), tattoos, literature and quantum physics. I love scritches and philosophical conversations over beer.

My Character:
--Anita Fenshae is my personal fursona and the character I most closely identify with myself. She's a thylacine, roughly 6' tall, tawny gold in color with chocolate brown stripes (two on each cheek, three on each arm being the most recognizeable unique markings), bright green eyes, and blonde hair that's always in varying states of disarray. Because Fen is essentially *me*, I don't really RP her much--she doesn't really have much life outside of the furry half of my own, because I don't like clouding the lines of reality vs fantasy when it comes to my fursona. I'm kind of a Therian in this way--my 'sona really *is* me, in the purest form.

Relationship Status:
--I am VERY happy with my mate and plan to spend the rest of my life with him. He was the face of my salvation, the light at the end of a very dark tunnel, and every day by his side is a joy and a gift; no one has -- or ever will -- loved me with the intensity and gentleness that he does, or look at me with such complete adoration. I love him more than I could ever describe.
Because he refused to come up with a good name for his fursona, I ended up just calling him Dark (due to the fact that his World of Warcraft character is Darklinkk and he's used that username in a few other places), so we'll call him that here though it hardly suits him -- he's probably the sweetest, gentlest guy in the world. He had never heard of furry when we first met, and after we started dating he went from thinking I was pretty nutty to being very interested in the fandom; he's an artist and an anime buff, so he can always be won over with good art. I draw him as a tri-color beagle and love getting commissions of the two of us together....if I ever got gift art of us I think I would die of joy :)

RPing:
--I'm a avid RPer. I'll play just about anything, and I'm not opposed to all sorts of adult situations, although RPing just for adult purposes bores me: I play for story and character development, first and foremost. I've got a small and ever-growing band of anthro RP characters, which I don't have any of the moral compunctions I have with Fenshae--I'll do all sorts of odd things with/to them because they're fictional characters not in any way connected to my sense of self. Anyway, if you want to RP, I'm always game; drop me a note and we'll work out the details.
