**I'm a fox because, well, I feel like a fox. I snuggle like a fox, I make fox-sounds on occasion--I like living like a fox in a human body. People that know about my 'double-life' and decide they want to be like me for some reason or another ask me what kind of furry they should be. Honestly, I think if it takes someone else telling you what to be, then you really aren't a furry, you're just a person trying to fit into a somewhat strange and wonderful group of people. I don't know...I don't really get people...**

**I've been a furry for as long as I can remember--I just didn't have a name for it before. When I was little, I would pretend I was a whole host of animals. 'Now, Kitty,' you may be saying, 'that wouldn't necessarily make you a furry. That's what kids do.' Perhaps, but I loved animals, and I truly wanted to be an animal. I had a cat tail I pinned to my pants and wee cat ears, and I walked around in those all the time. Maybe it was the beginning of my interests. I really don't know. But as soon as I was drawing somewhat well, I was drawing anthro cats, foxes, and wolves. I didn't know what it was until a friend of mine opened up to me about being a furry. He explained being a furry to me, and I figured it out. I found a group of people that don't judge me for how I think or act, or even something as simple as what I draw or write.** |
