Gench:
- Is straight but open-minded and accepting.
- Does not draw porn. (Cheesecake excepting)
- Has voluntary chronic insomnia. Like right now, even.
- Is a realist, an idealist, and a pessimist all at the same time.
- Also has a terminal case of foot-in-mouth disease, and asks your
forgiveness in advance.
- Knows better than to talk religion or politics, but will say that
his views are not typical of where he's from.
- Is still getting the hang of this whole 'anatomy' thing.
- Wishes he knew how to be more social.
- Is tired of talking in third person.
Profile blurb, version 2, revision 1a, April 2009:
Real life. It's something many don't have. I'm one of the lucky ones who does, I guess. And it keeps me busy, yes it does. I dabble in all sorts of things artwise. I've had the opportunity to try just about everything. Nowadays my computer fixing job eats up most of my time, but when I'm between projects and there's nothing interesting going on IRL, you'll probably find me in one of the sandboxes on Second Life, building vehicles and avatar add-ons. That, or at one of the newbie welcome areas, passing out teleport links to Caledon Oxbridge University.
I like how it adds a tilde to my username, like an oldschool unix webserver.
/home/gench/public_html , just like mom used to make.

First life, Second Life, back to life
I don't draw much, and I really haven't for a couple years now. I'd written some stuff and doodled out the storyboards for a short comic, but I gave up on that the second time the plans fell through.
Real life has been keeping me busy anyway. Money is tight, eh, you all probably know that story.
Back in December '08, I logged into the Second Life account I'd created back in 2005. It's much better now, both the platform and my system have improved by leaps and bounds. Since then, I've been using it like a big Lego set, more or less. I don't know why I haven't shown off any of the stuff I've done here, just not really the showoff type. But then someone there noticed that I had an account here, and demanded that I bridge the gap. I needed an excuse to organize my screenshots anyway, so here we go.
The only catch is that, while I know some people manage to pretty much live in Second Life, for me it's still just recreation, just a game.
[EDIT]: Yeah, I admit, if I didn't have stuff going on, I probably would live there.
