Detailed history information:
Not sure what to put in the years of experience category since I've been drawing ever since I can remember. I'm 23, a graduate of MCAD, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I graduated as an illustration major, and aspire to work illustrating books and comics. I currently have one six book series under my belt, and am currently looking for more freelance work. Also, I have a comic project in the works with Ross Campbell. And always, I am working on my own personal projects either solo or with the help of my husband.
Even as I get more freelance work, I plan to stay open for commissions as much as I can. Right now, while trying to get on my feet as an illustrator, commissions are crucial to me contributing to my husband's income, as art is my full time job. But even when I do have more steady freelance work, I do enjoy doing commissions for people, especially things like badges.
I try to make my work affordable while still being fair to myself. As a reminder, commissions are for private use only. They are not for mass distribution or publication, that kind of work is priced completely differently.
