Introduction to Creation and Quick Info
The Leothaun species is currently an open species, created and designed by SecapawsStudio
The project originally started back in 2012 and has gone through various forms and updates since the first concept stages.
Now, Leothauns are open for the world to see and create!
Now what in the heck is a Leothaun?
Leothauns are a type of feline, think a cat with an elongated muzzle. They were created not with elements in mind, but biodiversity. The way Leothauns are influenced by their environments is what makes them so unique. Each Leothaun is very unique, so in order to create a Leothaun, only a few anatomical guidelines must be followed:
Leothauns are only anthro.
They have retractable claws and fangs (think like a viper) - meaning they can be drawn with OR without them.
Leothauns’ have a recognizable token feature- their ears!! Their ears have fur on the rims and tend to be very large.
Where do they come from?
Glad you asked! They evolved on a planet called Qualdralis. This planet is much like the one we know as Earth; it has MANY different environments and ecosystems, which is what led to such diversity among these space kitties.
So what do we mean by an open species?
Just that! This species is open. You don’t need to pay us money to create one. You can make as many as you want!
There may be adoptables you want, or you may want to hire an artist to design one for you, but money is NOT required to have one. Just get creative!
We will never charge you to design your own Leothaun. If someone is trying to tell you that you need to pay to own one, they’re wrong. This species is OPEN. All we ask is that you respect it, and have fun! We’re here to make friends and talk biology!
