Okay folks, been meaning to do this for a while, so here it goes.

One of my NewYears' resolutions has been to bring various parts of my life closer together, integrate my interests and identities, if that makes sense... basically, I'm trying to wear less 'masks', or at least combine a few of them together. Less secrets, and more me.

If you look at my profile page, you'll notice I changed my description around a bit. Most notably, it includes a link and brief description of my alternate account,   muskyotie. It's a page for my coyote character Sparx, but it's also the dumping ground for my fetish material. I started doing this about 2 years ago now, and surprisingly it's gotten pretty popular O.o

So why the second acount? Why the secretive double identity? Well as alot of you here know, I'm pretty much exclusively a 'cleanfur'... my profile explains it briefly. I mean, I still don't draw adult stuff, but granted, a fetish is by definition an unusual fascination. I wanted to see if there was a niche for dirty/messy furs in this community, but I didn't want to weird out any of my more sensitive audiences, you know, those of you who may have watched me simply on the merits of wholesomeness. Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of this whole explanation, but oh well, I'm all about openness. If someone else I was watching had a big transition in how they expressed their interests, I'd appreciate at least a little bit of discussion on the subject to see where they're coming from.

My personal standards and moral beliefs are kinda hard to explain, so we'll make that another story for another day; feel free to ask though ^^ For the most part, the content of this particular account will remain pretty much the same: general interest/character design, Spiritual stuff, personal commentary, SCIENCE!, and of course a bit of fursuit stuff here and there. I'm sure those won't ruffle too many feathers (well, granted, some people are uncomfortable with my expression of Christianity, but oh well XP I try not to be preachy)

The only real difference is one that you may have already noticed, my lack of recent art on this account; since forming Sparx's page, it's kinda been consuming the majority of my anthro-art energy. You'll still see non-fetish drawings on this account, especially as I begin to better manage my time, but for the time being I'll probably be using this account more for photos, blogging and all-around general furriness.

I'd like to say that I don't care what people think of me as long as I'm being myself. That's not always the case... I'm one of those obsessive types who really tries to please everyone, although I've gained a bit more self-confidence and ability to be controversial over the last few years. I try not to offend people. What I do here on FurAffinity and irl, I'm going to do, what happens happens; but, most importantly, I want to leave the table open to discussion. In the past I've lost my temper and called people out on what I considered to be troubling behavior. I try not to do that any more, but I'd be a grade-A schmuck if I didn't expect the same kind of critique from others. If you have any questions, comments, criticism or et cetera, I'm all ears, and I can't guarantee that I'll agree with you, but I encourage you to voice your opinions with me as I have with others.

I'm hoping that some friends of my other account will follow me here, and that maybe some of you here will follow me over there as well. If anyone I'm watching here is nice enough to watch my scruffy coyote's account as well, I'd be glad to give you an honorary double-watch! After all, this place is all about networking, and I'd be glad to offer people patronage from both of my accounts at the same time. The 'portal' between the two accounts is now officially open!
