One journal a year isn't such a bad rate. One art upload a year probably is though. I've had a lot of real life stuff going on with the transition from undergrad to graduate school, maybe a list is in order:
1. New boyfriend.
bodak and I have been together for a while now, but I've been pretty bad about drawing him arts, so you might not know it (which I need to fix soon). He's very nice and lives down in NYC with
spunky and
ganador but I see him every other weekend or so.
2. New apartment. I moved three subway stops away from the college campus to Porter Square in Somerville. The new place is really nice and it almost feels like I have a real life now that I don't live on campus. I've got a parking space and the subway stop is only a 4 minute walk away.
3. Graduate school. I'm working toward my masters degree in mechanical engineering, but now I get paid by the school instead of the other way around. My main job is building and programming this new walking robot, but I'm the go-to person at the robot lab for mechanical and electrical design now. It's been a lot of fun, but also very busy at times with all the things people need done in addition to classwork.
It looks like I'll be going to FF again this year. Is anyone who reads my journal going too?
