Hi there! My name is Rattie. I am, as you may have already guessed, a rat. A playful and peace loving little mischief, that loves nothing more, than to put smiles on peoples faces. One of the obvious ways is my knack for fursuiting. Though I fursuit only occasionally, I do put in an effort to bring my character alive, and I guess my amateur stage acting is to blame here XD - Besides this I like to sing and to play on my saxophone. As a new thing, I have begun tampering with stage light and sound at live performances.
People who knows me keep telling me how well my fursona fits me. This is of course a huge honor, as I keep my fursona in a high regard. In fact I share so many behavioral similarities with rats, that I am suspecting myself of being a therian. Typically these traits begins to show when I feel safe around people. Little subtle signs, that gradually becomes more visible. But when I feel threatened I quickly mask it all up, and I'll once again look like your average guy on the street. But this is in essence too a feat of the rat. They scurry XD

Rattie (fursuit) is no more
The person behind Rattie (myself) is still very much alive. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about my beloved fursuit.
I am currently in the sad situation, that my head was lost last year on a UK train (Cross-country Railway), and what should have been a simple task of getting it back, proved to be virtually impossible. It is nowhere to be found. And no one gives a darn.
Adding to this, the original maker, Jay Costumes, outright refused to help me out, when I requested a replica of the suit. Apparently the age of the suit, and the change of work flow, made it impossible to work on an older project. No altertives were offered, and they now refuse to speak to me.
When contacted shortly after losing the head, they were so forthcoming, and reassuring, that this should be no problem at all. So I waited a year, hoping to get a spot, only to be told to go punch sand.
It makes me incredible sad how little empathy there is left for previous customers, after sharing a heart breaking story. But hey ho. What can one do. Maybe it is the times that has changed (for the worse) where compassion and understanding no longer is something people care about (as much)?
I hope you understand I hold no grudges against my maker. Although, I am very disappointed in the way the whole ordeal has been handled.
Anyway. I am now looking for a new maker. I have a few in mind, but of course there is no guarantee they will offer me a spot.
If you happen to know a maker, preferably in the UK or Europe, that you think makes adorable rat fursuits, feel free to write in comment field below.
I now have to get used to the idea that Rattie will change appearance. That is not easy after having the previous suit for 10 years. But Ieft with no other choice.
End of rant. Lol. XD
