Hiromi here, はじめまして. *bows* it is a pleasure to meet you. I was born in Japan but grew up spending half my time here and half there. After finishing school I decided to stay here but my family all moved back to Japan but I am, how you say, the black sheep.
Well, I am not a sheep, I am a red panda. I don't get your American slang sometimes. But I do love American comics, especially super hero's. I am a bit of a geek and love movies, television, anime, cartoons, video games, and reading. One show I really love is Doctor Who, especially the classic series, Tom Baker is my favorite Doctor, he is just so funny and interesting and, oops sorry, back to the introduction.
As I said I am a Red Panda, so are my parents, and the rest of my family, well one married a Tanuki but he's a nice guy. Oh gosh I'm rambling again...

Just recently I hit day 500 of my HRT regiment and a lot has changed since the first day. I am no longer with the partner that I started this journey with. I am not upset with her, nor do I feel any animosity toward her. She is straight, as much as she tried to see more than just my gender. I guess that means that she respects me and truly does see me as female now. After more than a year I was finally ally able to find a person who can not only see me as truly female but likes me for who I am. I have also started a new career and am on my way to legally changing my name and gender marker. Soon the me that existed for 32 years will be nothing but a memory. There is plenty of pain that goes with some of those memories, but I need that pain to see how good my life is now. I am truly happy with the decision to transition and am ready to take it to the next steps.
