i am an art student, who works in ceramic sculpture and enjoys making fursuits and costumes on the side. i have a small blossoming costuming buisness which i run in my spare time. i have wanted to draw cartoons ever since i was a kid, and am currently trying to pick that back up, and hone my drawing skills... also in my spare time... i like to give myself lots of hobbies so i have too much to do. i love the free exchange of ideas in the furry art and fursuit building communities. it allows for lots of interesting art to develop, and it's a hard thing to find in art school.
i make characters of myself and friends, and i like to draw other people's characters for practice as well. the character i primarily associate with is 'ShadowCat' a scruffy little alley cat who is based entirely on me only, you know, s/he's a cat :P wears the same clothes, acts in the same ways, works at a coffeeshop etc. usually shows up alongside the character i made for my partner, a panda named max. we both have a parallel, cross-breed, quadrupedal character aimed more specificaly at distorting gender perceptions and giving me some more complicated faces/bodies to work with.
i have problems with the restrictiveness of gender, i do not like to think of myself as a 'woman' which does not mean i think i am a 'man'. there's no good answer for what exactly i consider myself other than 'person'. but mostly i'm a faggy little boi-dyke who just asks that you don't consider my cunt an aspect of my personality.
i'm also a little crass, but i'm friendly, and fucking adoreable :3 |
