Here's a small update on how things are with me:


Personal Life:

• I got a girlfriend who lives 9 hours away from me. I thought it'd be a great idea to initiate a relationship and then go home for summer vacation twelve day later. (I'm so funny!) Having a girlfriend means that any sexual addictions I've faced (masturbation, porn, etc.) have no place left in my life, considering my actions now affect someone else as well as me. Leaving porn / masturbation is impossible to do by yourself, especially when you're just home from college. Yesterday I got one of my friends to cancel a $65 subscription to one of his favourite porn sites, and we'll be working as accountability partners. It also helps talking to my girlfriend and remembering that this wacky (and occasionally humorous) fight is not in vain.


Art:

• Would anyone here even want to commission me? Am I good enough for that stuff?

• I want to do a sculpture. I bought Sculpey and I'd better damn-well put it to use! I have a gargoyle character I've been itching to get out of my head. Actually, I've been itching to draw out my Superego, Ego, and Id. That robot you've seen me do before is my Superego, a gargoyle will be my Ego, and a demonic praying mantisy thing will be my Id. This will give me some character variety and possible interaction to go through whenever I'm starving for subjects to draw.
