I draw things! I also write things! Sometimes I post them up here? I don't know if anyone ever reads this part.

Back from the dead!!! (G)

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyeah. It's been a while. But I'm back!
So, my gallery was pretty much out of commission while I finished up my degree. During that time I was also barely doing any artwork at all other than the occasional doodles in my class notes. Even after I got settled into a new home and a new job, I was feeling creatively dry. But then
mongooseink invited me to join him again for AnthroCon this year. It's been way too long since we've been able to hang out, so I jumped at the chance.
And I'm so glad I did! Not only did I get to see my best friend again for the first time in almost three years, I finally got my creative juices flowing and was able to crank out some art I'm actually proud of. A big thanks to everyone who stopped by my table to look around at my art, and to the brave souls who took a chance on me and commissioned badges and character portraits. I had a lot of fun bringing your characters to life, and I hope you enjoy the results!
Thanks also to
mongooseink for getting me back in the game and offering all sorts of advice and support! And thanks to my neighbors, the incredible
marymouse and
kacey, for their encouragement and inspiration! Scoring a sketchbook commission from Kacey was truly a highlight of the con for me!
I also came home with several take-home commissions. I'm still fairly busy with work and other obligations, so I won't be able to speed through my queue, but I wanted to list them here so my customers can see where they are and will have an idea of when to expect their commissions to be finished. After that I'll consider opening up for additional commissions. And I'm also hoping I'll be able to make it to my local con in Cincinnati, FurReality, this October!
I will be updating this commission list as I progress. The first two pieces were started at the convention, and I plan to finish both of them over the weekend. The rest of you will receive a text or email when I begin work on your pieces. My goal is to finish at least one piece a week until the queue is done.
1. Ziggy - FINISHED
2. J. Smith - FINISHED
3. MurphyAlter - IN PROGRESS
4. Daruek
5. Meldiv
6. Autumn
7. Flyingfire
Check this space for updates! I promise it won't take me three years to get back to it this time!
