• Climbing gym is fun, and I'm actually getting kinda good at it.

• I have been provisionally awarded a merit award for my Masters studies this year! Provisionally pending to enrolling, so it sounds like a given! Means WITS will be paying the bulk of my fees to study this year, as long as I pull my weight and also do some tutoring within the Digital Arts department.

Pretty keen to finally get some time in proper 3D software and learn how to animate with it! I tried running through some SoftImage XSI tuts in the holidays, but the guy was so damn boring I've gotten very little out of them. Gonna give them a yet another chance soon. I really want to be comfortable with SoftImage at least interface-wise before classes start.
