Although the other has a better contrast, I actually like the monocolor aspect! No character/background mixup in any case, so I'm in awe of the colors in general.

Although to try and be helpful, I will say the sword is not dramatically angled enough. For instance, the gem stone is as if the sword is straight up and not angled at all. And for the sword angle in general, it should get even wider the closer you get to the top of it. But even I have trouble with that. I commend you for your effort in making such a lovely piece of art :3

ahhh, yes, that evil little gemstone XP it is indeed evil. it's very oval in shape, but also round, so when i tried to "squish" it for perspective, the roundness of it got in the way >.< UGH, perspective! haha
