why are you leaving FA?
also why are so many artists leaving FA for the past month!?!?!?!?!?!?

People are fed up with the way the website is run and the way security and privacy issues have been handled over the past couple years, there was an issue recently that really was the last straw for most people. I don't want my art on a site with a rap as bad as it's gotten. Tbh though I've been thinking about leaving for about a year now and decided now was as best a time as ever to just do it.

It's pretty much true from what I have seen. Admin here have had a habit of deleting journals and such that talk negativity about furaffinity rather then work on improving things. It happened to one of my own journals and I seen whole threads in the forums deleted with the admin message of, removed due to inappropriate content.

The sad part of the admin here is that they need to look at those things so they can fix them rather then delete them when they find them.

I've been banned for it before, actually... deleting crap they don't like is really just the tip of the iceberg. It's gone on for years, pretty much since the site started. It's why I don't post my works here anymore.

You know what I really hate?

When dudes leave and wipe their entire galleries.

It sucks to see someone go (although I'm pretty much gone myself) but really sucks when everythings outright removed. Leaves those nasty blue boxes in the favorites and just seems kinda pointless to me. Bluh

I'm sorry, I don't want my art hosted on the site anymore so I figure it's best to wipe it. If you're looking for anything in particular, everything that was in my gallery you can find already on my DA or Tumblr

If FA ever made it so you can get rid of deleted favorites I'd be less butthurt about it

I joined way earlier. I remember being unable to figure that out and whenever I asked "nah it's just a oversight; you can't get rid of it"

Now I feel insanely dumb

You know what I hate? When people complain about artists removing their artwork that they're giving you the option to download for free. Instead of appreciating it, people seem to think they are entitled to think that because they have faved that work it is somehow now theirs. In the end the artists can do what they damn well choose with their art. Be happy you got the chance to see it.

Pretty great site from what I and other people saw apparently.

Weasyl isn't really a main priority for me but I'll try to get into updating it for those who don't want to follow me on other sites, though I give people lots of choices, I can't please everyone. Tumblr is a great platform though, especially for artists, I'd give it another look into! I don't know where you're finding this "mess of tits and dicks and CP" because you don't find porn unless you search for it or follow blogs that post it. And honestly... saying Tumblr is full of porn and not a great place to show off an artists work ... how is that different from FA lol.
