Don't ask me the story behind this, because this is supposed to be for TheConflicted's second chapter in Pinky Dinky Pie. So yeah, look forward to that. Besides that though, I really enjoyed drawing this pic, it's just so heart warming to me. <3

Indeed it is. The colors all blend well and really bring out the happiness in this tranquil moment. Well, I s'pose it will only be tranquil for as long as Pound and Pumpkin are happy. :)
The positioning of all the characters is nice as you get a good view of every pony. The addition of Pinkie's mom is a super plus, too, as I don't think you see much of her beyond "The Cutie Mark Chronicles".

Id really like to know what is happening in this scene. The fact that Pinkie's mom is there gives me the impression that she's come to terms with Mrs Cake being her surrogate mother. It must have been hard to convince her due to her reserved farm life culture and close mindedness. I really wanna read chapter 2 when its available.
