I've been getting into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic recently and have been very much. I never really disliked the show, I just couldn't ever really understand what the appeal to it was, and left the show alone for a good long while until recently.
For April Fools Day, I wanted to do a Pathfinder one-shot adventure using pony characters, but I couldn't ever find rules for it that I felt were complete enough and with the first day of classes on April 1 as well, that plan kinda busted. Regardless, my interest in always wanting to do something right lead me to watching the show a bit more to get a better feel for the setting.
My Little Pony is kinda like Power Rangers, in that it's a really silly concept when you look at it head on, but it has a really endearing and charming aspect to it that you kinda gotta grow into. Well, I ended up really liking it and to A) give myself something new to add to my gallery and B) get a heads up on a pony character for when I do run that MLP Pathfinder campaign, here's my OC Pony.
Light Arts is a stallion unicorn who's specialty is light magic, making him proficient in healing, enhancing, and light elemental spells. His cutie mark is a white spellbook, and while it's not perfectly visible on him right now, he almost never goes anywhere without his white hood on (though he always keeps it draped over his shoulders and never on his head, unless it's raining).
