She doesn't have a name yet. I've been looking at female ghosts and banshees, and other folklore for something that would be a nice ghostly name. I'm out of ideas. Anyone know a lot about ghosts/spirits and know a term/name that would do well as a name for a female ghost?
Her fur colors are based on my Female Undead Frost Mage in World of Warcraft. Her face is green like death. Her eyes are lit like fire, supposedly by the energy that keeps her living in the afterlife.
Her crazy, curly hair is based on Winnifred Sanderson (Bette Midler) in "Hocus Pocus." I wanted it to look banshee-like how it flies into the air.
Some photos show ghosts as being smokey figures that look like a woman hidden beneath a floor-length cloak, so I tried to incorporate that. Though I cut it short and made it billowing behind her like Winnie's cape.
Her patterns have a Asian influence, her sides are blue and look like mist or curling clouds because people often describe ghosts as being whispy like smoke. Her pendant says "eternal life."
This is supposed to be during the Ghost Festival where they set paper lanterns on the water to give direction to lost ghosts and spirits of the ancestors and other deities.
They say that when you die, the energy (electricity) will eventually leave your body and often be absorbed into the nearest floor or wall. Orbs are the energy from dead beings who are from another plain/dimension and are not strong enough to take on a full humanesque form, so we can only see them as a ball of energy. The orbs above her are her "allies" and they aid her by using their individual powers. The green one is a healer orb, the blue one is a protective shielding orb, and the purple one is an orb with stored information.
