EVERYBODY! COMMISSION MOAR LANDSCAPE-INVOLVING STUFF FROM ME! IT IS LIEK TOTALLY AWESOME TO DRAW!
Ahem. Anyway, this is the $40 sketch Everyone got, asking for their character http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7672323/ to be a traveller in a vast desert. The main landscape inspiration I took was of the Gobi desert, but the underlying idea behind the vast chasm with the two different forms of rocks was of a scar from a gigantic geological cataclysm, dragging the two contrasting landscapes almost together.

Thankyou! And thankyou for choosing me to do this, I had a ball with the scenery and it was a great chance to stretch my artistic legs. I wish I could have put more detail into your character, but there wasn't really any way I could to that without either messing up the resolution or the composition. :I
