In light of the tragic events at the Boston Marathon, I wanted to do a little something. Read my journal entry for my thoughts on this matter.
Looking back on this drawing 2days later, I'm struck with the expressiveness of the pose more so than the face. That's something I need to work on. I can lean on my poses for a while, but i know I've got some stuff in the works that need facial close ups. Anybody have any suggestions on who to watch that is really good at simple line expressions?

Unintentionally the point. I actually sketched the figure the night before, and it seemed to fit the situation so well, I had to use it here. I'd originally intended to use the adult Brock character, but this seemed so much more poignant. Thank you for taking it seriously.
