Please spread this around. Would like to get at least 4 on this trip. I know its not cheap but maybe there is a golfing furry out there that would like to experience this..and can afford it!
What: Fuzzbutt Golf Invitational! (modified Stableford Format)

Where: Kiawah Island Golf Resort
When: Arrival Sept 27 in Charleston and finding a cheapy place to stay that night. Staying and golfing in Kiawah Sept 28, 29, 30. Leaving Oct 1.
Why: The chance to take the Fuzzbutt Trophy away from last years winner...Nbowa! Oh yeah...and to have a fun golf vacation with fellow minded furries :)
Details:
We want to Book by the end of May! A 1 night deposit is required which delako will front.
This isnt a cheap trip unfortunately. A 4 person Villa with a 3 night stay and 3 rounds of golf will cost about $1050 per person.
However this DOES include all taxes and fees, AND a round at the famed Ocean Course..which is ranked the Hardest Course in America and is also ranked the #4 best Public golf course in America. It held a Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and senior PGA. Green fees for just golf alone without staying at the resort would cost about 750$...
There are 4 other courses to choose from, each of which are great courses and each offering a different feel of golf. We can decide on that later.
Fees NOT included are: Cart or Caddy Fees. The Ocean Course is walking only before 12pm, but you can get a cart after 12. I dont care for the expense of a caddy (with tip..about 100$) So playing later is fine by me! I prefer to ride on vacation :)
We Will also be renting a car so that cost will be split among whoever else decides to join us.
Dont forget to budget for food! Im sure there are places to eat around the resort that wont cost us Resort prices..but do expect to pay a bit more than usual :)

ive played there once, as well as Spyglass and The Links. It can be done 'cheaply' if you are by yourself since you can be added as a single to another group 1 day in advance. The other courses were easier to get on to (2 weeks tee times) but if you want a group of 4 then you have to pretty much stay on the resort to guarantee a tee time. packages for that will probably start around 2000 per person.
I mean, I would be totally up for it. Would take more planning and saving for folks, but I bet we could swing it for a 2015 thing :)
Im going to Kohler in June with another group to play whistling straights and blackwolf run, as well as Erin Hills. The price there is pretty comparable to Kiawah so thats an option. Also Bandon Dunes would be fun as Ive heard youve been there before.
