I agree...I have found though as soon as you wear one that is not black it is ok all of a sudden. You wear a brown or grey one you just look old school and professional. I also like a lot of old petty coats and some of the millitary set ups. Of course my trench coat I will be making soon will not at all be confused with some Matrix fanboy. Nobody in the matrix or that shooting wore chainmail so it's all good.

Yay for chainmail Old coats are indeed awesome especially old military uniform coats. Just the other day I bought a big blue wool U.S Airforce greatcoat from the 50's. It's all big and warm and snuggly
