It's my sweet  yunin's birthday this Sunday, and I commissioned my good friend and talented artist  crocdragon89 to create this wonderful picture. I hope it expresses to him how much I love him and how much he means to me. And if it doesn't, perhaps the following will help:


How best to describe a man?
How best to describe the man I love?
It’s tough, for sure.
It’s a task that even Shakespeare would find difficult.
And yet, I believe the Bard had the right idea
and I shall channel him as my Muse
to describe my man and all his wonders.
I could say his eyes are as bright as stars when he laughs,
but stars seem dead compared to his twinkling orbs.
I could say his smile is as warm as the sun,
but the sun seems a icy globe in comparison to his radiant grin.
I could say that his heart is as loving as a saint’s,
but his beating compassion makes all saints seem sinners.
And I could try to say how much I love him,
but words cannot describe that vast sea of emotion.
It has no bottom that any diver could reach
and every day, it grows deeper, wider and stronger.
So, I will just say that I love him so very much,
that he brings so much joy and happiness to my life.
And, I will say that, now and forever more, the most important day
in my life is the day he was born and brought into this world.
For this day, above all others, is most precious to me.
For this day gave me him, the man most precious to me
above all others.
